    Family Platter For Three
    Yebin B.

Ordered the family platter for 3. Great food! Loved everything but I'm taking one star off because the chicken tikka was dry and beef tikka was too hard and tough to chew. If they can fix that then everything would be perfect and deserve 5 stars. Will be back to try other menu items.

One of our favorite restaurants used to occupy this space and we decided to pop-in this past Saturday. The new management spent heavily in renovating the space and there is a modern, clean vibe for diners. The food itself was good and we highly recommend the Trio as an appetizer. For mains we wanted to share the beef kabob and the chicken & beef shawarma combo. The kabob was flavorful and tasted authentic. Unfortunately, the kitchen was out of chicken shawarma so we were just brought beef to sample. The beef was good but, our craving for chicken shawarma was left hanging. We observed the typical type of challenges one would expect from a new restaurant. Though our app was delivered timely, the kabob came out before we had even gone halfway through the Trio. The beef shawarma was another 30+ minutes, so it was a good thing we were sharing the entree (it was so long we honestly thought the order might not have been put in). Much of the staff was going through the first day with little/no training, so questions about dishes were not answered. The fact there wasn't any more chicken shawarma was not communicated to us until the beef shawarma was delivered, which is frustrating. We're hoping the above is growing pains and we'll go back in a couple weeks to see how things are once they get their feet underneath them. I'm glad we went and, with pivots that solve the front/back of the house communication issue and up-train the servers; this has the potential to be something that is amazing.

Yummmm yum yummm I definitely recommend this place I went with some girl friends! Everything was so so good my favorite was the lamb chops and the hummus trio and I literally hate potatoes like I mean I won't eat French fries and I couldn't stop eating those! The mixed plate wasn't my personal favorite but it wasn't bad that's for sure! Go support local and try it you won't regret it!

If you are looking for upscale halal middle eastern restaurant you found it. The ambience is incredible. All of the decor is on point. Nothing extra. The service is very professional and great. Went there few times. Their buffet menu is amazing. Has everything your heart desires. Their regular menu is great as well. All meals are great and worth trying. The dessert menu is very diverse. Go there and give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Last night I went to Hashtag 48 for dinner and hookah and I was truly amazed. The food was not only presented beautifully, but every dish was packed with incredible flavor. It is so nice to finally have an upscale Mediterranean spot that actually tastes as good as it looks. I ordered the watermelon salad, muhammara, Bayti kabab, and the mango tango refresher. The refresher was so good and refreshing. The watermelon was perfectly fresh and sweet. The muhammara had such rich, bold flavor, it is honestly hard to describe how good it was. The Bayti kabab was the highlight. So flavorful, cooked perfectly, and absolutely delicious. No mistakes were made. And the dessert. Layali Baghdad was unreal. The perfect balance of crisp and sweetness, with every element complementing each other perfectly. Just thinking about it makes me drool all over again. The hookah was excellent as well. The space itself is beautiful, very clean, and thoughtfully designed. Portions were perfect, prices were very reasonable, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend. I will definitely be back.

The food is amazing Service is 10/10 Food 100/100 The vibe is amazing Definitely recommended The staff are so sweet and the hookah is really good.

The food was decent, but overall the experience was disappointing and I won't be returning. The biggest issue was the pricing. The amounts we were charged at the table were higher than what was listed on the menu, and on top of that, a 10% service charge was added without any mention upfront. Charging above menu prices while quietly tacking on a service charge feels dishonest, and it left a bad taste. The restaurant markets itself as upscale, but the experience didn't come close to matching that claim. We were served water in plastic cups. If you're positioning yourself as a fine dining destination and charging accordingly, plastic cups are embarrassing and completely out of place. As it stands, the combination of inflated charges, hidden fees, and substandard presentation makes it hard to recommend.

We arrived at about 1pm on a Thursday and it was busy with a lively atmosphere. I ordered the Greek Salad with Gyros and my friend ordered the Lamb Kafta kabob plate. This a counter service restaurant, so once we paid we were fortunate to grab a table with only two available inside. Our food arrived about 10 minutes later. My Greek salad was fabulous, fresh tasting, crunch of the cucumbers, brine of the Kalamata olives and the Feta salty funk. The gyro portion on my salad was generous. My friend enjoyed her Kafta kabobs, flavorful and delicious. We enjoyed dining at both the Mesa and Chandler locations. Looking forward to returning. Highly recommended!

Everything looked soooo appetizing on the menu and since I was going to meal prep this week, the Al Sham Chicken Combo caught my eye. For $15, you get little cute pieces of chicken shawarma with 2 dips! I was in love with the red sauce and wish the garlic sauce was more garlic-y but it was good either way! The kofta was great as well but would definitely come back more for their shawarmas but it's definitely the best bang for your buck I also got some baba ganoush on the side to dip my fries in but unfortunately, I thought the baba ganoush was too lemony/there was too much sumac added so it wasn't as enjoyable. Most baba ganoush I've tasted in my hometown also had a smokey flavor to it from the eggplant so it really couldn't compare.

We were very disappointed in our experience. My husband was excited about having the Osso Bucco and I was planning to have Branzino, but we were quickly informed that they were out of both! So then the server talked us into the Dover Sole, which we then ordered. A few minutes later, the manager came to inform us they were out of the Dover Sole so we would need to pick another entree . We also ordered bottle of wine and then informed they were out of that kind of wine. So I ordered the Chilean Seabass and my husband ordered risotto. My husband did enjoy his risotto. The Seabass was very disappointing. It was tough. I had to cut it with a knife. It was very bland! Then we decided to order dessert and we were immediately told they were out of the cannolis ,my husband's favorite. We did order the crêpes which were delicious and prepared at the table. We were quite disappointed in our experience here tonight. Very sad because we really enjoyed this restaurant and we're excited about having a fine dining option in downtown Chandler.

What a treat. Exactly what I'm looking for in a Caesar salad. So good! The pesto on the Caprese was house made and so tasty. I want to try a pesto dish next time. My wife had the Sacchetti Porcini with truffle and it was light and perfectly balanced flavor. The pillows melted in your mouth. Will definitely have again. The Lobster Ravioli had a well balanced limoncello flavor and not too creamy. Cool striped pasta. Perfect for those not super hungry but wanting a unique dish that is sure to please. Steak Nicola was was cooked to perfection and had a suburb combination of black truffle, aus jus and prosciutto cotto to make it a memorable dish. I'm still craving it the day after. The main entree was a kafta kebab wrap which is automatically served with some of the tastiest seasoned fries I've eaten in a long time. In fact, I would say it's worth it to just order a side of fries alone. Anyway, the kafta had a homemade vibe to me and was topped with the usual suspects. An order of kibbeh and hummus rounded out my order. The kibbeh was perfectly cooked and the hummus was super creamy as house made hummus goes. Oh! This may sound crazy but I was even impressed with the lemon slices in my water. They tasted a little sweeter than what I'm accustomed to when eating out. Overall I really liked this place and it was worth the drive across town. Next time I'll be taking friends with me to enjoy a meal. One last note regarding payment. They do have Apple Pay! Woohoo! I'm going to get straight to the point: This is the best Lebanese (or even Near/Middle Eastern)…read morefood I've had for probably fifteen years...and I eat this cuisine at every opportunity! Visiting, from California, some dear friends in Mesa, we ventured through the triple-digit heat for about 20 minutes to get there. Even they as locals had never heard of the place, hidden amidst miles of chain stores and strip malls. But it wasn't long before we were all singing its praises and vowing to return. Across the board, every dish was peak: ultra-creamy and subtly garlicky hummus; silken, appropriately smoky baba ghannouj; perfectly crisp, tender, not-doughy-inside falafel; and herby tabbouli, light (but not vanishingly so) on the bulgur in the Levantine style. These basics always make or break such a restaurant, and they were all outstanding. Add to this seldom-seen delights like foul medamas (fava-bean soup), four variants of ghallabah (grilled meats or seafood), chack-chouka/shakshuka (eggs poached in tomatoes and onions), and two types of pita baked on premises and served from the oven--all in generous portions and at reasonable prices--and it's worth the drive wherever you are in Phoenix and environs. I would eat here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if I lived here. I will absolutely return on my next visit.

The waitress never gave us or offered us any refills on drinks. She was gone most of the night. There's an upcharge for fresh bread and so I said yeah, we'll do it. She said she'd bring out the pee-packaged pita bread and the fresh bread that we paid extra for. Then she never brought out the pee-packaged stuff like she said she was going to. The bread was ok, but they only gave us 3 pieces of pita bread which were about the size of a sand dollar. This was not enough bread for 2 people with 3 dips. Also, the fries were the kind of fries you get when it looks like they haven't cleaned the grease in a while. The babaganoush was really good. But everything else was pretty mediocre. I've been here 3 or 4 times and everytime I feel as though the service is bad and the food is overpriced. It's really sad, but I want to like this place, but I can't. Also, they have a rewards program but my waitress didn't try to get me to sign up. I asked when I saw it. It's a pet peeve of mine. But- I guess she doesn't really care or offer it because she probably doesn't think people will come back. My friend who joined me tonight is Muslim and she needed a place to pray, but this place didn't have one. I was surprised to learn that tonight as well. Spend your money elsewhere.

I'd been here several times years ago, and after coming back, I'm honestly wondering why I don't eat here more often. I ordered the chicken shawarma, a stuffed grape leaves platter, and hot tea. Everything was exactly what I hoped it would be. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and wrapped with the classic toppings, and the portion was fair for the price. Speaking of price, the value here is honestly hard to beat. The stuffed grape leaves platter came with hummus, tabbouleh, pita, and hot stuffed grape leaves. I had completely forgotten they serve them warm, and my brain needed a minute to recalibrate because I'm so used to cold dolmas everywhere else. Once I took a bite, though... yep. That's how they're supposed to taste. Soft, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I ended up adding some of the hummus and tabbouleh to my shawarma, which made an already great sandwich even better. The service was just as impressive as the food. My server was genuinely kind, gave me a few extra minutes when I couldn't decide, checked in without hovering, and even offered to package my hot tea to go when he noticed I was still working on it. (For the record, ordering an entire pot of tea for one person was an ambitious life choice on my part.) The dining room isn't huge, and there's also a small market attached, which adds to the charm. This place reminds me that consistency is underrated. Years later, I came back, and it was just as good as I remembered. Great food, great service, great value. The counter area looks more like an advertisement for other establishments...stickers, ads, coupons, notes and all sorts of motley items. The man who I think was doing three jobs in one (host, order taker, bathroom attendant) took my order and walked away. No friendly hello or enthusiasm of any kind. Once I took my seat I watched several people use their store just for the bathroom in the back...the back where there's no door separating the dining area vs. kitchen vs. warehouse vs. bathroom. People were standing in a line to use the restroom a foot from where my food was being made. I ordered a simple gyro sandwich with rice. The sandwich was pretty straight-forward: gyro slices, onions, tomatoes and tzatziki. When it arrive, there was no sign of tomatoes or onion...just different shades of brown drowning in too much tzatziki. I eventually found several onions and one tiny tomato underneath all the meat. Underneath...what a poor presentation. The rice was okay...nothing special. There was nothing here that would draw me back. Having several other Mediterranean food options within miles that I do enjoy has relegated this place to 'in emergency break glass' status.
