    Poor fries
    Brad W.

Just another average falafel sandwich, but it wasn't green, which was a bonus. The pita seemed fresh and really if it had more tzititi sauce, it could have been a bit better. The combo is $4.50 extra, but the fries served here are miserable thin fries with no seasoning or taste. Music inside was loud and not American, so sit outside near all the homeless losers for a better experience.

Just average. Had good flavor and the portion was ok but average Mediterranean food. The service was good and the good came out quick enough. Nothing spectacular and over the top but not bad either. I'd go back again. Nothing would keep me away but nothing to have me rushing back. Main reason we choose this place to eat was it was Christmas and not much open. But yes we weren't disappointed or anything.

I'm visiting from out of town and have eaten here 3 times now. The food is great! I had the mixed plate all three times and the taste and quality has been consistent. Definitely recommend Med Fresh as far as Turkish / Mediterranean food goes.

Fish Plate... couple of bites missing. Apologies, I was hungry.

Third time here because it's good, consistent, and healthy. I like to try different restaurants so if I'm a repeat customer, there is something special that brings me back. My first visit was the mixed platter which is a lot if food and (in my opinion) shareable. The second chicken and today the fish. If there was a 4.5 star ranking, I wouldn't hesitate. It's very good... not gourmet but satisfying and leaving you full while knowing you've eaten well. Of what I've eaten this far, I'll be back for the fish again and again (I'm trying to be a pescatarian). Nicely spiced (not hot spicy), not dry (as overcooked fish can be), and makes a great topping for the rice.

Food was incredible and went back for more hummus and warm pita after our entrees. Baklava was SO good!!

Really quick and friendly service and delicious food! Pretty good serving sizes for a decent price and the food tasted really flavorful all around. The meat was cooked well and very tender and the rice was also very well done. Pita is a bit bland compared to others, but the rest of the platter was great. A solid spot for lunch if you work around the area and I'm sure I'll be back.

    Beef gyro & fries

Found this spot while roaming around Mill Avenue and saw the gyro & beer special $8.99 posted outside.. We sat inside but they also have an outdoor sidewalk patio with misters .. We had the beef & lamb gyro with a side of French fries.. the gyro was a good size .. the veggies were different then I'm used to but it was great.. I'd never had pickles in a gyro .. but it worked.. Good service, fast and friendly .. wish I'd saved room for a piece of baklava.. maybe next time!!

I really don't…read moreremember my experience then, but that would've been my first time having Ethiopian food. This recent visit was my third time having Ethiopian food, and I went in with an open mind. I remembered the last time I had Ethiopian food, I didn't really enjoy it. You have the option of choosing from their platters, or you can build your own. I created my own platter - I got the lamb dish (#5), the chicken dish (#3), and lentils (#9). These 3 dishes came on injera, which is a sour, fermented flatbread. It is basically a plate for the food, but you also use it to scoop up the meat/lentils to eat. My order also came with several more pieces of injera. The injera "plate" got soggy from the meat and lentils, so it was harder to use it to grab the fillings because it just kept falling apart. The chicken wasn't that great, so I wouldn't order that again, but the lamb dish and the lentils were sooo good. I had enough leftover for a second meal. I'm glad I gave Ethiopian food another chance! Next time, I would probably get the beef, lamb, and lentils.

Hearty ethiopian food in a casual atmosphere…read more We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and it was busier than we've seen before; they had their monthly Sunday vegan buffet going ($25) that offered some items not on their usual menu and looked tasty. We ended up getting platters off the menu instead, mostly ordering vegetarian. (But if you're hungry or want more food, the buffet is a good option.) The green beans and the collards are a solid combination because of the difference in texture and spice. Cabbage, fish and beef were also good. Everything came either on a bed of injeera (soft) or rice, or a combination. On weekdays they have lunch specials which are the best deals and very good and inevitably you'll have leftovers to enjoy later. Service has been better and more attentive in the past but it was busier than usual too. The actual decor and location is a bit dated but you probably wouldn't come here for the atmosphere. They also sell their coffee and other small things to go. I don't have ethiopian that often so this was a treat. Shared parking lot with other businesses.

My family and I ordered family style so we can try everything. For starters, we ordered the milk bread, fire roasted bone marrow, spicy peanut and tomato salad, and the tuna pineapple ceviche. I might say this multiple times in my review, but the food was very delicious and the description of the food was very interesting however it all blended so good in my mouth. The milk bread was topped with a miso tomato butter with almond and kalamata. Sounds interesting right? But when you actually tasted it, it was delicious! Who knew to bring such ingredients together to make this?! The softness of the bread and the saltiness from the butter complimented it so well! The fire roasted bone marrow was served with sourdough toast with a jalapeno marmalade with demi sauce. I never had bone marrow, however I met people who either liked it or choose not to try it, but this time I decided to try it. Who knew how soft and buttery bone marrow was?! The spicy peanut and tomato salad was very refreshing, however I wished it was a little bigger in size. The dressing was a peanut dressing, similar to a thai peanut dressing salad. The tuna pineapple ceviche had pineapple with tuna served with plantain chips. It was hot in Arizona and this dish kept it very refreshing to eat. For entrees, my family and I ordered the lemongrass half chicken, campfire seabass, ancho chili glazed pork chop, and the bone in ribeye. The lemon grass chicken was served with carrots and garlic mashed potatoes with jalapeno jam. The chicken was so juicy and you can taste the lemon grass marinated in the chicken. Again, jalapeno jam? What a genius! The campfire seabass was in this chorizo broth along with couscous and vegetables. I honestly can not review much regarding the campfire seabass because I didn't taste, but per my grandma she said it was really good haha! The ancho chili glazed pork chop was surprisingly not dry! I don't really eat pork chops, but our server recommended it and she did not disappoint! The bone in ribeye was delicious!! Super juicy and flavorful! It was served with baby potatoes, arugula, and chimichurri. Filthy animal is definitely a fun spot, the decor inside made the whole ambiance very intimate.

We shared the pibil dumplings and the cheddar & kimchi croquettes for the appetizer. Both were really good but had a bit of a kick. For my entree I got the steak and it was cooked perfectly and the chimichurri sauce was so good. Lastly, I got the miso cheesecake for dessert and the flavors were incredible! I love the animal and jungle themed decor in this upscale restaurant. We were seated right next to the big stuffed leopard which was fun. Our waitress was super personable but there were a few service mistakes. My entree was missing the potatoes it was supposed to come with. And when they boxed my meal, they didn't include everything like the salad and chimichurri sauce. Luckily I checked and was able to get everything added, but staff shouldn't be neglecting or throwing away part of my meal. I would definitely come back here though as the ambience and food were top notch!

Another must have My friend ordered the Aztec Cake and insisted I'd regret not getting it. She was absolutely right. It was bomb and Torrance offered us a side of chips .TY. I ordered the short rib. It was flavorful, tender, and filling, with lots of garlic and savory flavor. I'm not sure if short rib is just not my thing, but it didn't wow me the way the Aztec Cake did. I warmed it up later and it was delicious a second time so no complaints. Excellent service, delicious drinks, and a fun way to spend the Fourth. We'll definitely be back!

I got the frozen margarita and it was a bit sweet, but nice for the summer evening. Our server wasn't super attentive, but was nice whenever they came around.
