Great little locals favorite spot. Pricing is very comparable to other restaurants of this cuisine. I met my friend at 5 for dinner and it was not very busy within an hr there were no available tables. Staff is friendly and quick. Some dishes are prepared fresh so FYI kebabs take 25 + min to be served while the shwarma only 5 ro 10 or so. We both had the same dish pass on the rice double the salad. Mediterranean food is one of my favorite meal options when dining out. I can always count on a filling meal, big portions (usually giving me leftovers), and quality ingredients used. In my search for a great Mediterranean spot, this one caught my eye with solid reviews, nice pictures and a unique menu. Of course ordering based on pictures is my default and once again it didn't let me down. I'm not sure why a plate with cut up wraps and fries was so appealing, but it was. The fries were great! This is the second location I've visited. The restaurant is very similar to the other I visited, and the food was identical. Very tasty, generous portions, reasonable prices, friendly service. One complaint; I ordered a chicken kabob to go. I expected a skewer with chicken, green pepper and tomato, similar to what you'd get if you ordered dine in. Unfortunately, what I got was four pieces of chicken, no tomato or green pepper. I found that disappointing. Lesson learned, order the food for dine in, and pack it up yourself. My husband really enjoyed the vegetarian plate. The greek fries were delicious. I had the Caesar salad which had a nice flavor, but could have used a bit more dressing. I wanted to try a kanob, but there was a 40 min wait which the cashier explained was due to it was very popular during lunch and they were cooking more. I guess the skewers I saw were for customers that were dining in and waiting for their meals. She recommended ordering ahead in the future. Wow!!! The food here was excellent! Parking was decent and there was no line to make your order. Service was polite and estimated my wait time at 25 minutes for the food. That was correct. So many people have told me about this place and yesterday late afternoon, I finally made it in here with a buddy. Around 4:30pm, the place still had people ordering food and by the time we left here around 6:30pm, the place was mobbed with people and for good reason, the food is excellent. I spent time living in the Middle East and the food here is truly just as good as overseas. I ordered the vegetarian platter which comes with tabbouli, baba ghanoush, hummus, falafel, wrapped grape leaves and pita bread for dipping. Everything tasted great! Portion size also very generous. They also gave us complimentary baklava. How nice! You order the food at the counter, then take a number and they bring the food out for you. There's a nice outside patio when it nice to eat outdoors. They have serve yourself soda fountains, refillable. This place is my go to place and they have never failed me on qualify and taste. For being hour before closing time on Sunday they were pretty packed. Ordered lamb chop dinner and 4 meat kabob combo. I usually get the chicken shawarma with hummus, fries, and the greek salad (the dressing is perfect). The lentil soup is also AMAZING. The service and people are so lovely and kind. This place is always PACKED like line almost to there door everytime I've been here. First of all I had ordered the soup and falafel to start. The soup never made it to the bill. We got our plates which were MASSIVE portions THEY DONT SKIMP THATS FOR SURE. Towards the end of our dinner my husband figured out that we never received our falafel. We asked for a refund as it was the end of dinner and we were stuffed. They said no we will bring it. Husband got the chicken shawarma plate and it came with a mound of food. The pita bread was very hard The chicken was extremely dry I ordered the Al sham beef sandwich (this plate was also MASSIVE) It was tasty but after eating two of the 8 pieces I found it very greasy. Even now I'm rubbing my lips together and it's oiled up like I have chapstick on. The rice on my husbands plate was also very oily. I feel like everything was so fried and oily. There was a time when I would pop in here once a week just to get some kofta, a sandwich, or even some Greek fries. It's a great place with big flavors and even bigger portions. Most entrees come with some creamy hummus, a lightly-dressed Greek salad, some fluffy rice, and a cup of bright tahini sauce. They also have a Halal menu too. We all have eaten Mediterranean food before, so we all knew what we wanted to eat and what we were going to order. The restaurant is usually crowded and has seating both inside and outside. We anticipated a good dinner, but unfortunately were a bit disappointed. I ordered chicken shawarma which I often eat and was very disappointed. Instead of having the normal garlic sauce as well as pickles, tomato and lettuce on it and made with grilled chicken, this was bland pieces of white meat chicken and a bit of dark meat which was devoid of sauce and flavor. Companion ordered a falafel plate after being assured at the order counter that it was made fresh every day. Fresh falafel is made from fresh fava beans and is green inside. This was brown throughout and had none of the flavors or spices usually found in fresh falafel. Another companion ordered lamb kafta kabobs which were over cooked and not seasoned properly. I could go on but to no avail. We were all disappointed in the food. Sanitation was another area where there was a problem. Food that was dumped on the floor when we arrived was still in a heap on the floor when we left. The ladies room handicapped stall had a broken seat and the floor was littered with paper. Much as I tried to be generous in my review, I'm afraid I can't be. While others may enjoy the restaurant we did not. 3 stars read more

Best shawarma you will find in Arizona. Surprised to say that they are 100% authentic down to the meat, toppings, tahini sauce, bread - exactly the way you would have it in the Middle East. This restaurant has a great lamb shank plate Friday special, and it is the best that I kind find in this area. Today I ordered the lentil soup for $5.99. I was disappointed in the portion size and the soup itself. The soup was bland and had no zing to it at all. If I had been at home, I would have added some apple cider vinegar to the soup for a zestier taste. A lemon wedge was provided on the plate, and it improved the soup, but I was still disappointed and the portion size was too small IMO. The plate did include crispy pita chips, but they had been in the the oven too long and were very dark. We've been coming to Green Corner since it was just a little place around the corner from where it is now. It has really come a long way! The new restaurant (okay, it's not new anymore) is a really great green and gray theme. The tile on the floor is really pretty, and there's a big sign on the wall that says "hummus where the heart is." There's a good amount of seating, and also patio seating. You order at the counter, and they'll bring you your food. We ordered the chicken on hummus, two gyro pitas, and one gyro platter. Be forewarned that the platters are gigantic! They're very flexible and you're able to do substitutions. I asked to have the rice instead of french fries, and they were happy to do it. Of course, once I tasted the fries off my son's plate, I realized how good they are. But I do love that yellow rice. Green corner is a very popular and can get crazy busy.
