I have my dad's John Deere 870 tractor with belly mount mower. I could not ask my dad how to run the mower since he had passed. I had tried and tried to engage the mowing blades... I was successful once, but did not remember what I did. Since then, every time I tried to engage the blades, it was metal on metal. I stopped trying to avoid breaking anything. I called Quality Equipment in Pittsboro. Scheduled to have the tractor picked up. When the gentleman arrived to pick up the tractor, I was waiting to speak to the service manager. Seth, the service manager, asked me to start the tractor, then engage the blades. Again, metal on metal. He then kindly talked me through, suggesting I press the clutch ALL the way down. I almost had to stand on it... the blades engaged!!!! Between Seth and the driver, I can now successfully mow, every time.. So so grateful. Quality Equipment came through for me in an unexpected way. I was promised a repair but the company has ignored my repeated emails and calls to get that arranged. To start off, one of the movers made inappropriate remarks to me, starting with "I broke up with my girlfriend yesterday" as he inquired as to my relationship status within TEN minutes (cannot make this stuff up). The driver then got their moving van STUCK in my driveway for more than 3 hours. They arranged a tow truck to free the van and they allowed my stuff to be towed to an unknown tow yard. Abdo was unable to get the truck that day, so my items say somewhere overnight in a tow yard. They promised me a refund of 200.00 for an inconvenience fee. Instead, they had the NERVE to charge an additional 459.00 for the day they unloaded. My favorite part: They attempted to charge my credit card more than 20 times for their additional charges! They kept trying different amounts to get every possible dime out of my account: 25.00, 50.00, 20.00, 100.00....they were successful at maxing out my card. If I could share a screenshot I would! Per the moving contract, they will erase the credit card info on file per request. So, of course, I did request that once I realized what they were doing. Lo and behold, they have still tried charging my card TODAY. I have now had to freeze the card and request a new one. Do NOT use this company. In the moving contract, they specifically state they can basically use your credit card anytime for fees they believe you might owe. They just sent me another invoice this morning.

No people skills for the job. the website with our account have invoices posted there that is the same as their records and then expect us to pay more money, even though our invoice reflects no money owed. Invoices on customer account should have the SAME information as theirs. We have been customers since 2016 and have had too many problems with accounting. I've never dealt with an accounting department manager with this low level of abilities to do her job. Delivery guys are very respectful helpful and timely but unfortunately, Amanda in the accounting department gave us such a negative experience.
