Economy Exterminators Review We have lived in North Carolina and Texas and we know bugs! Lots of bugs. We contacted Economy to help us tame them and have found Economy's employees to be professional, courteous and reliable. Stephen was at our home recently to access an insect party. He did a thorough inspection and made recommendations for treatment. He made us feel that we were in competent hands. The estimate that he gave us was very reasonable. Greg came shortly afterwards to treat our home and yard for pests. He was prompt, professional and experienced. He was nice too and listened to all of our concerns. Natalie, who answered the phones, was very attentive and found answers to my questions very quickly. I love that Economy set up a monthly service. I have never written a review for a company before, but I feel that this needs to be shared. I live in a house with college aged girls. We are having spider and millipede problems. We contacted our landlord to set up an inspection and treatment. The landlord told us they were coming the next morning to do the inspection. I was in the house, with all the windows open and a clear view of the driveway, sitting on the couch. No one came to our house. I told our landlord this. He called this company and they told him that they did come. So then I called Economy Exterminators and I asked if we had been rescheduled as no one came to our house and the person told me that they actually had to send someone else instead the next day. I asked if a note could be made that I wanted whoever came to come and talk to one of us in the house briefly so we could show them certain places on the inside as well. I confirmed that they had the correct address. I gave them my name and number as well as confirming that they had the correct contact information for my landlord. I was told that someone could definitely come talk to us and that a note had been made. The next day, I waited again. No one came. I called again and the person said that someone did come. I was told that they were contacting my landlord about pricing. My landlord said that someone had contacted him saying that they would be in touch about pricing. We never heard back. We are moving on to a different company. Even if this is partly a lack of communication somewhere I am unaware of, Economy Exterminators has been lying to me about coming to my house and seems like they were going to talk pricing without doing an inspection at all. read more

Don't waste your time and money with these people. We signed for 1 year contract and after 1 year of service, still I see roaches at several places. To top that they will present 1 year contract which automatically keeps renewing without your consent (1-year contract technically expires 1 year). Completely un-professional and ineffective. Great service! I've had a contract with them for over a year now and think it's totally worthwhile for a wooded neighborhood. Treatments are effective and on time, and communication is always good. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the mosquito add-on is a bit pricey, IMO. Otherwise I'd get that too. read more

He knows every detail about our house - including waiting till our dog is isolated during his visit - and is always extremely thorough with his work and reports back to us. I had been a customer for years. No problems, good service. They emailed me invoices and I sent checks from my bank. One day I receive a different looking letter from them in mail. Letter from a debt collector and a Wake County Court Summons. They reported me to collection agency and suing me in court! They said I owed a bunch of money and was refusing to pay. This was totally out of the blue. I emailed them my last payments and bills showing 1. I had paid and 2. last several invoices that showed no past due balance or late notice. The lady answering the phone looked it over and admitted they screwed up. Then she denied she turned me over to debt collector and Wake County Courts - when she sent me copies! I asked to speak to the owner, felt like the owner should know what is happening at his business - and she refused. So I dropped them after several years. read more
