Walked in and we were taken back almost immediately! The staff we interacted with were polite, helpful & very accommodating to our requests! We wanted a simple dancing skeleton & got exactly that! I could not be happier with the quality of work and respect we were shown. I would definitely come back for another.

Have traveled from out of state several times to get tattooed at Pittsburgh Tattoo Company. I'm on number three, have one each from the amazing artists Tom, Aaron, and Diane. Everyone is friendly, fun, talented and very professional. Can't recommend them enough for an enjoyable tattoo experience!

I came here July 21st 2022 to get my nostril pierced (the left one in the picture) and customer service was good and everyone was super friendly. The shop was very clean too but the piercer (I don't remember his name) didn't use anything to stop the needle when piercing my nose and also didn't use clamps, resulting in cutting my nose. He didn't even say anything and played it off like nothing happened. I had to go to the bathroom to clean up the blood coming from the extra wound! I commented on their instagram today about it and they just straight up deleted my comment. Thankfully I took a picture that day! edit: I commented again and they deleted it and blocked me instead of sending me a message and taking accountability for their actions

Laura B is amazing as hell!!!! Janie recommended her and she did great for our sister tattoo theme. Thanks so muchhhhhhh!!!

After losing key family members, my dad, mom and brother I really needed a way to hold them closer to my heart, now I have that closeness.

Incredible service and stunning quality. Tom did a great job with style and placement for a memorial tattoo. While was the 1st tattoo, after Tom's work will not be the last, in fact, I have another appt next week!

I've been wanting a new tattoo for a very long time, and I was finally able to get an appointment with Aaron when I saw he had opened his books. I'd been a huge fan of his work for quite a long time and was really excited! He responded really quickly to my email and we found a date and time that worked very easily. When the appointment rolled around, I got to the shop a little early and was greeted promptly and given consent forms to fill out. Absolutely everyone I saw was wearing a sturdy mask correctly, which was really reassuring. The consent forms also had a slot to affirm that you had not been exposed to COVID-19 and were not showing any symptoms; this was a very nice touch. The actual tattooing itself was so smooth and easy. Aaron took my design and cleaned it up to a professional level while still retaining the original idea 100%. During the process, he did everything in front of me, made sure I could see him opening new needles, etc. He was even nice enough to explain some of the things he was doing to me, since I was curious, and that made me feel super welcomed and nice! (The music playing in the studio was great too!) He worked efficiently and finished earlier than he expected, but didn't go too hard or anything. Overall, I had a really wonderful experience at Pittsburgh Tattoo Company and I highly recommend getting tattooed here!

After much debating, research and review reading I decided to try this place, and glad I did. Friends and I came in as walk ins while here over the weekend... and they were able to take us! We had Adam who was quiet but very chill. He put up With our rambles and photos and was able to work off those. He spent a lot of time and was careful to make sure it was really what and how we wanted them! Clean studio, great attention to detail. Pretty fairly Priced too! Tip: They DO NOT take cards, cash only! But have an ATM on site.

Amazing! Rev did an awesome job. Highly recommend getting pierced here, especially on Tuesday! The deal is hard to beat, and the environment of the place is awesome. Super happy with everything and definitely looking forward to coming back in the future for more!.

I downloaded yelp JUST for this review. I absolutely loved getting my tattoo here. It was the first "big" tattoo I got with shading and all that. To say it was painful is an understatement.. but my artist Shawn talked to me the whole time and made sure I was okay every step of the way. I was instantly comfortable in the shop as well. The work I got done was a coverup of another tattoo. The original tattoo was hideous and brought me a lot of insecurities.. Shawn did an outstanding job covering up my botched tattoo with a beautiful piece that brings me so much joy every time i look at it! Not only was he supportive throughout the tattoo process, but he was there for all of my questions about healing afterwards. I've had a few tattoos from different artists but this was hands down my best experience! I don't think I'll be going anywhere else from now on, especially for larger pieces. This is a tattoo shop that you can TRUST!

Rev was very friendly, informative on after care and cleanly he used all new supplies. He even switched out an existing piercing I had that's been irritated and gave me some care tips and now it's slowly improving. My favorite part is that he gives you a piercing receipt with your bar sizes on them so that you don't end up forgetting by the time they're healed and you want to shop for new jewelry, genius! One tip is that they are cash only atm on site but charges $2.75 so bring your own if you can.

Do NOT get your piercings here. Pictured is my prolapsed cartilage, having resulted from the botched piercing I got. The piercer deliberately used a bar WAAAYYYY too small for my cartilage. My ears are thicker, so a longer piercing would have been appropriate. There was no room for swelling or movement. When I finally managed to pry the backing off (after three months of agony), I could not feel the back blunt end of the piercing through the cartilage. You'd think a skilled piercing artist would have known better. I would have been better off having a friend do it in her bathroom like we were teenagers. Spend your money somewhere else and avoid the pain.

I got my septum pierced yesterday and it went better than I ever could have expected. The girl at the front desk is super friendly, I called prior to my visit to make sure they were still doing nose piercings during Covid. I went in, filled out the paper work and waiting maybe 20 minutes. The piercing took less than 5 minutes. I explained to them the type of ring I wanted and it looks perfect. I am so happy. Rev is also super friendly. I'll be going back next Tuesday!

I went here recently to get a tattoo by Aaron and he did an amazing job. He offered a numbing cream that he could use to help ease the pain but I declined it I appreciated the offer though. He tattooed on me a death moth and a butterfly behind my ear. He was very professional and very detailed in his work. I get complemented on my moth almost everyday I love it! I already scheduled another appointment with him I'm very excited.

I really have to say that this tattoo shop was a wonderful experience to have on a Saturday morning. Michelle the owner in tattooer was probably one of the most gracious and amazing people I have met. While I was not the one to get tattooed by her the conversation that we had as a group was just amazing. She is a beautiful soul. Her ability to be so open and understanding of similar life experiences while making it about the person and not just herself was fantastic. While I was the not the one who is getting tattooed she made me feel comfortable in the space that she provided. She even gave me a recommendation about a tattoo cover up that I've been thinking about for some years now. She made me feel assured and comfortable that what I wanted is a possibility and to not be afraid to go for it. Michelle is a warm and friendly individual that only allows positivity in her space. And she even takes time to talk to her clients outside of the tattoo space. I would suggest coming here for a positive inclusive tattoo experience. You will not be disappointed.

However it was on our Pittsburgh Coffee Passport and so my wife and I headed over. The inside of it is quite an interesting place. It has a floor made of pennies, a brick wall and an intricately decorated ceiling. I am pretty sure they are a coffee shop, tattoo parlor and art gallery all in one. So that means that there is art and t shirts hanging up all over the place. For our coffee on this day both my wife and I both ordered cappuccino. They came out with swan decorations in the foam with spoons made to look like skulls. The flavor of the coffee here was good too. My first sip was a little bitter but it quickly smoothed out the more of it that I drank and I enjoyed it. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I had no intention to deliberately come here, but as I was walking down the street I felt this is where I was going to do it. It was a rainy day and I walked up to the place and looked up and thought, yeah, this is the appropriate place to do so. I had no clue if they took walk-ins, or were able at that moment to do my tattoo. I just felt numb at that point and walked in here. I went to the counter and was asked what they could do for me. I showed them what I wanted tattooed on me and where I would like it to be. After making sure what I wanted would be alright when it would be stenciled they made sure the sizing was right for the area. While they were doing all that I filled out the tattoo waiver form to have this done and just waited until it was time. It had been a few years since I last got a tattoo and was a bit anxious with it all, but the artist that did my tattoo, Jeff, put me at ease. Because of me being a walk in and it being a simple tattoo, I think I took up maybe twenty minutes total of their time. The tattooing itself did not bother me one bit. When Jeff was all finished and he cleaned it a bit, he had me look at it to see how it looked. I went to the mirror, looked at it, chocked up a bit and told him it was perfect. He asked if I was alright and I told him yeah, it just means a lot to me that he was able to get the handwriting perfect. See, I had a bit of a breakdown knowing that my Mom was not going to be signing anymore of my birthday cards, so I had her handwriting tattooed on me from a previous birthday card to have forever. Jeff saw the sadness in my eyes and asked if I needed a hug. I told him I was fine, just having a moment. He then asked again if I needed a hug and I told him I appreciate the gesture, but I am fine. After he was done and had me set up to go, he took some of his time to talk to me about how loss is a tough thing to deal with and that he knows what I was going through. Some people just have the right compassion to be doing their line of work. Jeff exemplifies was a good person is and kind and caring being. I totally appreciate what they were able to accomplish for me, anytime I miss Mom I give a rub of that tattoo am reminded that I am loved. Phew, sorry to be a downer there, but it was an emotional day, and I needed to hear some kind words at that particular moment. I believe I was brought here for a reason. I would definitely come back and ask for Jeff to do my next tattoo. Also, not bad for this being my 2,700th review. Glad it could be this place.

If I could rate Panther a 10 out of 5 I would. I have a decent amount of tattoos, my entire back is covered, two rib tattoos and a half sleeve. Some of which were done from very well known artists that are now featured in TV shows. Panther gave me, by far, the best overall experience I've ever had. From quality work, to genuine conversation, or even just ensuring we felt comfortable with the healing process. ARTWORK- 5/5: We'll start here because that's what many people care about. Panther is an amazing artist. He pays very close attention to detail. Is very true to his work and cuts no corners. Even when you may think you're "finished" he'll connect with you and throw ideas here and there. You'll never leave the chair uncomfortable or dissatisfied. Great patience. Great vibe. Great dude. Super motivational throughout the process, if you're a first timer he'll be exceptional for you. If you're seasoned in the tattoo game, he's just as exceptional. To produce such quality work at such short notice tells you a lot about him. SERVICE- 5/5: We came in with an idea and Panther spoke with us and shot ideas, communicated back and forth with the pros and cons of particular placing, size, etc. Took the idea and essentially BOSS'd it out. Came out 1,000,000 times better than expected. Did a great job involving us throughout the journey; made us feel right as home. PROCESS- 5/5: I messaged them using Yelp because they were unavailable to answer the phone. Within minutes I got a response asking for more details on what I had in mind. After a couple back and forth we were encouraged to come into the shop and speak to Panther in person so we could make something happen. PRICING- 5/5: We sat down and discussed a vision, the cost came last. He's human just like the rest of us though so I'm 100% if you have a budget I wouldn't doubt you all can figure something out together. Never got the vibe of him being money hungry, charging more than what his work is worth, as many artists try to go.
