We went to this shooting range on Sunday and we had a blast! It was my first time shooting and the crew is very professional, friendly and helpful. Had fun while keeping safety a priority. They gave us clear instructions/ demo on how to use a gun, how to insert the bullet and when to use the trigger. They even guided us for the first turn and always kept safety top priority. Clean bathrooms, and beautiful rentals. What I really appreciate is they have a lounge center. I went in with a bigger group ( 11 people ) and was done a little earlier than the rest of the party so we had an area to go too instead of staying in the shooting range. One of the things I really appreciate about this place is the professional and friendly staff. They come off as tough and difficult to talk to but they are there to ensure that you'll have a good time; they will provide you all the information and equipment you need to make the experience pleasant. They will give you guidance on what hardware to use if you're a first timer and give you pointers on how to shoot if you ask. They have a nice variety of pistols and rifles to try, along with specials throughout the week. This is my fourth time going here, and I usually go on a Thursday since rental and lanes are half off. The place can feel tight and stuffy when it's busy; the air flow in the firing room seems to run poorly, especially during hotter weathers. Otherwise, the place is clean, their bathroom and lounge is always maintained. There is a nice little gun store next door worth checking out too. I'll be coming back soon if I feel the need to practice my aim! read more

2nd time here. They have "specials" weekly which mean special prices but they'll get you with rental fees and $26 per box of 50 rounds. That's not the issue though. My biggest complaint is that their website does not reflect their guns available for rent. They only had maybe 1 or 2 of the guns I actually drove here to try. Most of their Sigs were "out for maintenance/repair," they didn't have any staccatos (which their website says they do) among other things. I brought this to their attention and they are very much aware that their website is outdated but no action taken to address it. Customer service at the range is not friendly. They charge a 3% CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE. Only thing I actually liked about this place was the friendly staff at the sales department:) thanks! read more

My friends and I came here yesterday to learn shooting, and it was an amazing experience! The instructor was very responsible, and we spent a long time learning theoretical knowledge. extremely rude staff when I go, the shooting range is incredibly small which makes it twice as loud when shooting with others regardless of type of hearing protection I feel it incredibly odd that they have a camera right up in your face on every lane for them to see your entire face and actions up close which is odd for privacy. Purchasing bullets are extremely overpriced here as well compared to purchasing at other locations which sell for average bullet market price. If you are new to shooting or want a welcoming and safe experience when shooting I recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

Always a great experience when I come here. The wait time was minimal maybe 20 mins for our group of 4. The staff was friendly and even helped one of our friends with her technique as she was a first timer. The shop inside had a wide selection of rentals and everything was reasonably priced. The only negative I would say is the target selection. They were kind of boring mostly just plain targets and a couple zombies. read more

Probably the best price for walk ins in the greater Seattle Area. The range is old, and uses a manual target retrieval system rather than one where you can designate the distance in yards. Plenty of inexperienced shooters which is to be expected at a public indoor range. On the positive they do allow steel cased ammo for us AK lovers, and their price on FFL transfers is reasonable. Ammo is moderately expensive which is also to be expected when purchasing ammo at a range, so I would roll my own unless testing the range guns. Overall a nice place to shoot if you are in the area. The main downside is that their range fee isn't very competitive at $425. At that price it's probably best to just get the 5 visits for $55 as needed. At my relatively high rate of shooting of aproximently 8000 rounds of year. That comes out only 32 visits a year and $350 at the $55 rate. read more

Located in the old Champion Arms Shooting Range space, Raincity Shooting Center is a great spot with a fantastic staff. On my last visit, I went with a friend who was in the process of selecting her first pistol to buy. A team member was patient, supportive and provided thoughtful suggestions on guns she should try from the rental selection and used her feedback to guide her in a no pressure way. Took a gun safety class here with my wife not knowing what to expect. Mona was very easy to work with and super encouraging. I don't know much about guns but these guys are very approachable and helpful. I'm in the process of figuring out which gun will be the best fit for me. You pay the gun rental fee and can switch guns as much as you like. At first, you pay for eye protection and rent the headset. I've since bought my own. You also buy 9mm boxes of ammo at 50 rounds per box. I've only been here 4 times but I love coming here to learn. Marcus came to my lane today and gave me some tips since I have "unlearned" some techniques that Mona taught me. I was expecting a holier than thou routine because I'm new. Not the case. If you go in there as a beginner, they are more than happy to help you out and make you feel more comfortable. This is coming from a new guy expectation. If I could give -1,000,000 reviews I would. Me and my brother came to this facility excited after not shooting for a while. It was our first time. I mentioned 2 times that it was our first time there. We were scoffed at by the older man in the receiving area after not knowing where to sign in. I apologized and said that it was our first time. Then he grabbed the board and didn't say anything else. So we took our seat. He called our names and disrespectfully asked for our waivers. I again reiterated that it was our first time and we didn't know what their requirements were. Shooed us to the where the waivers were. At this point I felt disgusted. Me and my brother are asians. Im a navy veteran with 6yrs of service now working as a nurse. My brother is a manager for a large tech company in Seattle that is also global. Some people are just quick to look down on others and treat them like shit. read more

This was our first time ever shooting and the learning experience was so incredible and honestly a life lesson about the seriousness of a weapon. Okwui (I'm sorry if I spelled that wrong ) was so amazing and so helpful to me and my crew. Workers here have an attitude and seem to think that because they work at a gun shop that they know better than everyone who steps foot in there. I ordered a pancake style holster and they didn't tell me that they couldn't fulfill my order for a week. It took me calling them and asking for an update for them to tell me that they couldn't make what I ordered. They made me a different holster that is less than decent and didn't meet the requirements of the holster I originally ordered. This shop suits the area they're located in. Upon arrival they were difficult and unwelcoming, but we decided to stay anyways. Best place around. Their firearms rental selection is amazing and their prices are more than fair. They have the best inventory around for firearms for sale and their retail shop is full of quality items for really good prices. If you're looking for training as well they have an awesome staff of instructors as well. They also make in-house holsters that are absolutely perfect. They're really a one stop shop. I am a new shooter and I came in today very nervous! Jordan greeted me and not only was he very nice, informative and patient, but he even went on and beyond to go out in the range area and help me shoot....guided me and gave me support/tips. I know without him doing this today, I would have sucked! I hit my target so well, thanks to him and now I'm more confident to come back and try shooting on my own. Prices were great as well. Also, they have a gun store right next door and of course, Jordan walked me over and got someone to help me on that side too....now that's customer service! Stop by and enjoy some shooting. 0 stars in my opinion I purchased my FN five seven from them in October of 2022 and the owner mentioned that he makes custom holsters I then got put on the "list" it is now July of 2024 and I have yet to ever get a call or an update I've tried calling several times but all I get is "the guy that does that isn't here right now " what a lousy business I will never buy another gun from this place ever again I'll take my business elsewhere read more

I have visited this store on a few occasions but this was the last time. I inquired about pistol training and the guys behind the gun rental counter said to watch YOU TUBE and use their range. What a joke! They also removed a lot of their high end rentals guns from the counter because those guns where not paid for yet. So sad to see this place fall apart. The employees there looked like a bunch of gun nut refugees trying to hold until the gun laws change in WA State. Raincity Shooting Center.....more like Sadcity Shooting Center. You cannot miss this building because half of the glass windows are broken and boarded up! Stay away unless you want to contribute to their window rebuilding fund.
