Lindsey is an incredible body worker and healer. I have had 2 sessions with her (so far!!!) one for massage and one for Reiki with an intuitive reading. The massage was exactly what I needed. I've received many massages in my life due to working at a spa, having chronic pain from a soft tissue disorder and also after a car accident. Lindsey is easily one of the best. After only saying vaguely that I have chronic back pain, she managed to find the exact areas on my body that had pain and abnormalities, tightness and fascial adhesions without me telling her where they were. She could simply feel it from my body, and honestly, not all massage therapists can do that and notice all of those things. She gave perfect pressure, as I like a medium to firm touch and I honestly wanted the session to never end. During my Reiki session with intuitive reading, I was very relaxed and felt peaceful as she delivered intuitive messages while she worked. It's more difficult to describe the session compared to massage, especially to someone who hasn't had Reiki, but you should definitely book a session with her for energy work. Lindsey is amazing! I have been struggling with anxiety. My stress had manifested into clenching my jaw constantly. I needed relief. I did some searching online for both massage and energy work. I've had the honor of having Lindsey work on me several times now and am pleased to find such a gifted massage therapist. SoCo is lucky to have her back! When she works on you, you can feel her focus and attention is entirely on you and she's really making the effort to have this be one of the best massages you've ever had in your life! I've learned that she's originally from northern Cali's wine country and it makes sense because, whereas massages here can feel like a dime a dozen, the training there is top notch and you really do get the best of the best at all the resorts there. The difference in quality is WORTH. IT. I can be a bit chatty and like to get to know who is working on me at least a little bit. A friend of mine referred me to Lindsay with a promotional deal (her: "do you want a free 30 minute massage?" me: *booking appointment already*) which I converted into a full 90 minute session. After my 90 minutes of awesomeness, I told Lindsey: "this is the best massage I've ever had, and I've had a lot of massages." The day after - and even weeks later, I have to say, I stand by my assessment of best massage ever. My neck and shoulders hadn't felt that good in a long time. I was feeling pretty beat up the next day (but in that really good way that tells you something actually changed!). Lindsey is a true healer. I was referred to her by a Doctor after being diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia, an "incurable nerve disease" which left me enduring facial seizures at random. I saw dozens of specialists, who prescribed me a plethora pharmaceuticals. None of this relieved even a sliver of the excruciating pain. Lindsey was kind and mothering, which is exactly what I needed, being terrified that I could have one of these painful and embarrassing episodes on her table at any minute. She was a great listener, not only to the description of what I had hoped for from her services, but also to the specifics of what my body needed. She hospitably invited me to choose essential oils for defusing if I desired them, she had the lighting and temperature flawlessly prepared. Yet she asked if it was suitable. She worked silently, listening to my bodies needs unless I began and carried on a conversation. That really helped me, wind down from my type A brain patterns, so I could join her in listening to what my body needed. She helped me help her by creating an environment of healing on an energetic level. I felt as if months of work were done in a 60-90 minute session. I felt her peel away areas of my body that felt "stuck". I had a deep tissue which was highly effective but not painful at all. I left, feeling hopeful, relaxed and inspired as though a deep healing had already begun. As soon as I came home I began guzzling down water as instructed. I instantly began feeling my body detoxify from months of excruciating pain. Within the following 24 hours the pain began to subsist rapidly. Although I was told I need to be on seizure medicine until I could get brain surgery or radiation, I mustered up every ounce of current and cut my seizure medicine by 1/3 the following day. Before I knew it I had gone two days without any seizure medicine. Lindsey has been a critical part of healing, spiritual awakening and powerful enlightenment within me. Lindsey is absolutely amazing. When you see other reviews that state she's a true healer, it's absolutely, 100% true. I suffered from a panic attack about a month and a half ago and haven't felt the same since. My body was aching with tension and stress and I had no idea what I could do. I was meditating, practicing yoga, but even still I couldn't shake the stress and anxiety. I found Lindsey through Yelp and I've got to say it's one of the best things that has happened. I can't say enough about Lindsey! I can hardly believe this was only one appointment, I left feeling like I spent an entire day at a spa. Both Lindsey and the beautiful massage room environment were professional, welcoming, warm, and instantly put me at ease. She intuitively chose the right essential oil and the aroma therapy, along with low lighting and peaceful music, were very soothing. This was hands down the most amazing massage experience I have received. Every aspect of my massage was wonderful- the space is beautiful, ambient, and calming. Lindsey was super easy to book via text and worked hard to fit me into her schedule for 90 minutes on short notice. Her studio is adorable and very quiet and relaxing. I love that she uses doTERRA essential oils and she had my favorite blend on hand (Balance). Her energy is so soothing and her skill is masterful. Every time I get a massage from you I think it's the best one yet. I've must have gotten like 10 times now. If anyone reads this review I'm also a certified massage therapist for 11 years and had massages from many different therapists over the years. This girl Lindsay is the best one yet. She gives great pressure, she knows what she's doing, perfect relaxing speed and flow, I never feel rushed and I can go on. I'm always leaving like my money is super worth it. I just got my first massage from Lindsey the other day. Being a MT myself I am VERY picky and critical of massage, it's rare I leave a massage feeling like I got a real massage where problem areas received enough focus, without feeling tortured.
