Review Pivottos is an excellent contractor for high-end home construction and renovations. The field team completed an extensive renovation of our condominium in Waianae. The work scope included kitchen renovation and new cabinets, bathroom renovation and new cabinets, new shower, all new plumbing fixtures, new electrical, and upgrading of all closets. At the initial stages of the work, the project manager provided us with a detailed proposal and drawings for the rooms. He also worked with us prior to construction to specify cabinets, plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, misc hardware, and paint colors. This effort at the beginning made the whole project go very smoothly. The field team members are very courteous, professional, punctual, and experts in their trades. They were knowledgeable regarding the work scope, and worked harmoniously and safely. They completed the work two weeks ahead of schedule, and were very careful with detail and cleanup, and were observant of our condo rules and regs. The project manager was very easy to work with on a couple changes that we requested. I am very pleased with the excellent finished results, and all members of the Pivottos team are a pleasure to work with. Darce and his team did an amazing job on our renovation. There are a few important things that set him apart from others we've worked with: 1. His team is very neat, clean, and well organized 2. They start a job and work on it exclusively until they are finished - sometimes 10 hour days, 6 days a week. 3. They finish strong - other contractors I've worked with put in a lot of work up front but when it comes time to finish and get all then little details just right - they are off to another just job. Darce and his team are great! I was referred to Pivotto's from a friend who had recently had a kitchen and bath remodeled. I was surprised when I had a quick reply and we scheduled to meet in the same day to talk about our renovation plans. Many contractors are near impossible to hear back from but Pivotto's had a quote for me that weekend and they were able to get one of their crews started that following week. We loved the suggestions, details and quality or work we received for very reasonable prices. Our reno hit some speed bumps but Darce and his team adjusted and completed the work on time. I heard about Darce through a co-worker who had used him for herself, her parents and neighbors. We also went to inspect one of his clients kitchen's before hiring him to renovate our kitchen after gutting it due to mold. We had already been out a kitchen for 3 plus months and with 2 kids I was losing my mind doing dishes in the bathroom, so when he said he could do it in 2 weeks I was thrilled. It too 2.5 weeks as we had some extras we wanted done along the way, but we were super happy with his workmanship, his workers and his price. He himself was here everyday, the same guys came, I felt safe to leave them in my home and they cleaned up at the end of everyday(with a vacuum)! They brought in both a plumber and an electrician when needed, we picked out our countertops, cabinets and sink on our own, but Darce picked them up for us and he himself cut the countertops on site at our house. The only thing I had to get myself I think was paint, the light fixture over the table and the faucet. I will continue to recommend them to friends. read more

Checking all of our light fixtures, we just found out they also could not figure out how to mount the front bathroom ceiling light so they GLUED it to the new drywall ceiling we had installed about month before they started the bathroom work. This prevents us from having access to the electrical without cutting out that ceiling drywall where they glued the lighting. They used the same light fixture in the back bathroom and was able to install it properly by screwing to the light fixture mount. The front bathroom had a light fixture mount as well since we just had electrical done. We paid over $33,000 for the two bathrooms (step-in shower in one bathroom and tub in the second bathroom and installation of about 700 sq st of click vinyl flooring. Found out he is not licensed for plumbing or electrical and did not sub-contract out. We are still paying additional costs to repair what they did not do correctly and are still finding problems. One bathroom is only about 12'x5' (this includes the cabinet/closet space) and the second bathroom is only 8.5'x 5'. We're posting this to warn others. read more
