As for the fries, they're really quite good. They're cooked in rapeseed oil which reduced the calories and also with the skin on, which is varies the flavour in a good way. They're not the crunchiest chips I've ever had, but certainly the tastiest and I don't think crunchy would have worked at all well with the dish overall, so I was pleased to have the ones that they did. We ended up coming here because of #SecretBrixton, and I'm glad because otherwise I would never have come to Brixton let alone Hot Chip. So a big thanks to the organisers for that, and for Hot Chip for being involved. We got chatting with the two ladies working there and the combination of the quality food and frankly just how lovely there were makes this one of the easiest five stars I've ever given out. First thing, the customer service was great. Great customer service accounts for a lot. I decided on a double bacon cheeseburger with fries on the side. It was juicy and filling. The fries were hot and crispy. I was put off by the bacon because it wasn't the type of bacon that I'm used to getting in the States. But it was still good.
