I would definitely return the gentleman that served me in the front was polite and asked me if everything was OK after I finished not constantly while I was eating, which sometimes can get annoying ambience was pretty low-key since it was a rainy day. I've never written a yelp review before, but i absolutely had to after I just paid $33 for a large (honestly it was the size of a medium) pepperoni pizza, and 9 of the driest wings i've ever had. This is the worst immitation of chuckee cheese pizza i've ever had. They almost nailed it with the frozen thin "hand-tossed" crust, and the tasteless cheese, but they fell short with the sauce that was not even present on the pizza. Please do not waste your money. Very disappointing pizza. I had heard lots about this place in a local foodie fb group so I figured I'd try it to satisfy my pizza craving. Ordered takeout over the phone (can't recall why I didn't do it online but there was a reason). When I was done placing my order the young lady didn't ask for a name or phone number so I asked her how would they know my order when I arrived. She assured me they had my phone #. Arrive there, there's maybe 3 other customers in the restaurant and I wait my turn. At the counter the man asks me what I ordered?? Huh?? What about my phone #? I couldn't recall the name of the pizza I ordered, it was escaping me. After some back n forth with him and then the manager, I think, who finally uses my phone# I get the pizza. It looks OK but it was takeout so.... Anyway in terms of taste it really had no flavor despite it being the specialty pizza with meat and veggies. I had to add seasoning to it. Let me start off by saying that I'm a Neapolitan pizza snob, and I normally don't care for takeout pizza. It's usually too oily, and lacks enough flavor to balance it. There's gotta be something special about it for me to even touch it. Exceptions include legitimate pizza from NY, Chicago, and more fresh artisanal kinds (sorry, Papa John's, Pizza Hut, and Costco). So, when I was tasked to order pizza for the family in a less familiar area, ABQ was a total shot in the dark. I was ordering for a halal-only audience who typically eats Pizza Boli's, and was dreading the end product--I'd consider eating the cardboard pizza box before the pizza! Yes, I'm a snob. To my delight, Pizza Boli's was outside of the delivery range, so when I saw ABQ listed on Yelp as halal, I ordered a few pies and a few desserts. The pizzas: BBQ Chicken Pizza, Chicken Fajita Pizza, and the Chicken Tikka Pizza The Desserts: Carrot cake, Oreo cheesecake, and regular cheesecake Of the 3 pizzas, the clear winner was the BBQ Chicken--I didn't even get to try it because it was finished before I started eating! The Chicken Tikka was also good, though I will request that they not add banana peppers and maybe even the jalapeños next time because I think they were unnecessary and detracted from the chicken tikka. The Chicken Fajita got the least love from the family, but I still enjoyed it. Collectively, the pizzas were on the breadier side, as opposed to thin crust, somewhere between Pizza Hut and Papa John's, and less greasy. I usually feel like I need to detox after eating pizza, so this felt comparatively 'cleaner' than its competitors, for lack of a better description. The desserts were better than one would expect, almost fluffier and lighter than standard cheesecakes and carrot cake. I learned that they came from a bakery in Baltimore. Gotta respect a restaurant that knows what's outside of its wheelhouse and outsources those menu items, accordingly. This is my local pizza place and overall I'm happy with it. It took some adjustments after the changed management from Laurel Pizza and Wings. My favorite is the Seafood Alfredo pizza (minus scallions). I also love the crab pizza, it was my first love there (still minus scallions). Every time I have guests and they have an hankering for pizza I pick here. No one has been unhappy yet. I really appreciate the online ordering function. I didn't realize there was this new spot in the shopping center near me. First time picking up food, and I ordered the Gyro Kabob Platter. I never leave reviews but had to after eating the Gyro. Loved their spaghetti & meatballs. It tastes like something you could make at home, but in a good, comfort food kind of way. Like your mom & grandma made it for you lol. Great for the price. We placed an online order for pepperoni and chicken Alfredo pizzas with crispy crusts. The pizzas were ready for pickup as scheduled and the woman who gave us our order was attentive and courteous. Both pizzas were tasty, and in particular, we liked the Alfredo sauce very much. However, neither pizza was thoroughly and evenly sliced. We could see someone had hacked at the food and there were a few irregularly cut pieces. Otherwise, it was up to us to struggle to make individual servings. I'm from New York where I grew up eating real pizza from pizzerias so maybe my expectations were too high, but this place didn't cut it for me. Reviews were decent which is why I gave it a try. I ordered a large pie with 2 toppings & asked for extra sauce (sauce is the true ingredient in pizza as cheese & toppings are generic). I specifically told the guy I want extra sauce BUT not extra cheese as some places seem to think you want extra cheese when you ask for extra sauce even though you didn't ask for it. He agreed, I picked up the pizza & when I ate it, it's like he did the complete opposite of what I asked. First they left my food outside and didn't call and completely ignored my request for no tomato that I CALLED in for. After calling after over an hr to check my pizza they say it's been delivered and I say no one called me, so I go and check with her on the phone and see it just sitting on the floor outside. They deliver their own food so DoorDash can't notify after a drop off it's up to them to not only knock but call which they didn't. I offer to return and exchange. One hour later the same driver comes and bangs on my door so hard my baby woke up. Still no call . Instead he yelled at me for choosing the drop off option and said don't choose it. So I'm guessing we are psychic and are supposed to just assume our food is outside from some spiritual force. Anyways he continues to yell and yell as my baby cries in the back upstairs. I take the food while he cussing me out and close the door to find a pizza he clearly stuck his thumb and and spat in. You can see his clear thumb print and spit inside the indentation.
