Going for the Vegan Yelp badge since I was one restaurant away. The last Vegan place I reviewed earlier this month was all Vegan. &pizza is simply Vegan friendly. I moved to Russett in November 2020, and &pizza opened in the early part of 2021. &pizza is an assembly line pizza place that started in DC in 2012. I think the first time I had &pizza was on U Street, and I remembered I liked it. My ex-girlfriend was highly critical of &pizza; she said they were terrible, not sure what her beef was with them, but I agree to disagree as I think they are great. In May 2021 after 6 months living in Russett, I really enjoyed when 2 friends finally visited my new home I bought. One of those 2 friends haven't been back, and I was just at his place on Saturday, but he has some mobility issues, so I give him a pass. We all enjoyed the pizza which includes unlimited toppings. So, I always get the all-beef meatballs & chicken plus various veggies like mushroom, olives, etc. Until fall 2021, I ate pork, so I had pepperoni, sausage to that evening in May 2021. Although I'm not Vegan, I did eliminate pork, so that is something. And if you are Vegan, they have Vegan toppings like fake beef and Vegan cheese. I had &pizza multiple times over the years, but I shyed away as it's always a bad weight gain whenever I eat. I can't just have half & save the half. For one, half isn't quite enough; I'll want to eat the whole dang thing. Secondly, not a big fan of leftover pizza. I'll eat leftover pizza if I happened to have, but I prefer eating the pizza when cooked the first time. Staff is relatively nice. My one complaint is that their app isn't very good. I always have trouble with the log in and even deals redeeming. On Saturday, April 20, 2024, my girlfriend & I had a $4.20 deal for guess what it was 4/20, and they were struggling with the deal. Although I'm not into cannabis, I'm an opportunist when it comes to getting a deal. Finally, they got the $4.20 deal to work, but it was a big hassle. My girlfriend & I 2nd date on Thursday, February 15, 2024 was at &pizza. I suggested we take the pizza to go to Panera in the same center where I could my free Sip Club drink and a more comfortable eating environment. &pizza is kind of small and not comfortable seating. Anytime I've gotten, I've taken the pizza home (since I live so close) or to the Panera in the case of our 2nd date. I meant to text my friend, "The ho is at least 15 minutes late...she probably stuck in traffic." I was panicking when I realized I sent to her, and added "I was just kidding. You're good. Just chilling in the parking lot." Thankfully, she had a good sense of humor, we had our first kiss that night, and ultimately, in late February became officially a couple. Also, another great addition which is included on the pizza is the pesto sauce drizzled on the pizza as well as Parmesan cheese added as well as the butter sauce. read more

Though I absolutely love this place. I have an issue with the front counter associate being outside on FaceTime when we pulled up. Held his convo then came in still on the phone. He told the person on FaceTime to hold on as he began handling food. He didn't wash his hands or anything, touching on the pizza slips etc. the young man at the other end making the pizza was very nice, helped us and was courteous. When I'm in Laurel, I always visit to this &pizza location. The staff has always been friendly and the establishment has always been clean. My pizza is always made to order and I've never had any problems. I always get the American honey pizza, no changes, just how it comes and it's always delicious. This location is located in a large plaza so there is tons of shopping and other establishments around. Overall great location and I'll continue to keep coming back. read more

I was in the area getting some wine and had a craving for some pizza so I stopped by. Upon entry the place was very clean I must say and the line wasn't to long. The two gentlemen that were in there, were doing there thing. I haven't had &Pizza in a while because they didn't hit like they used to - but I took a leap of faith that night. It looks like they did some revamping because they have new pizza flavors on their menu and the interior was now yellow and white instead of there normal black and white. (Or maybe It was just that particular location ). But It was cool, It gave the place a vibrant feel. I decided to get the "Pineapple Jack'd" because I loveee pizza on my pizza (yes It is actually good)! It was a good combo of sweet and spicy and of course I had to add the "Hot Honey" for some extra kick. I made my own specialty pizza. The staff was nice. The staff member strategically placed each item on the dough to be sure it was even. The pizza was cooked well enough. Sometimes some location don't have the temperature for the oven set right but they sure did! Brought a family of 5 on a Sunday afternoon to dine in and had a wonderful experience. The pizza is always on point and fresh. We ordered 2 lil roni's and 2 custom pizzas. All were made correctly and delicious. We waited barely 10 minutes despite the steady stream of patrons and the fact every table was occupied when we arrived. The staff were friendly and hard working. I couldn't get a picture before my kids devoured every bite. The pizza was not made correctly (they added chicken, which I did not ask for), but they double-checked the order and said someone accidentally put chicken on it. They graciously remade it--and quickly. I live about 20 minutes away. but it still tasted amazing when I got home. The ginger berry lemonade was also really tasty and sweet. The toppings I added were pesto sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded cheese, kalamata olives, spicy chickpeas, jalapeños, Fresno peppers, basil, and pickled onions. Plenty of options for toppings. I like a thicker crust, but this wasn't bad. Like other chains in the 'build your own' - toppings were fresh and the pizza was good. I visited &pizza yesterday with one of my coworkers. It was my very first time visiting any of their locations. I ended up stopping here after learning about it through a Yelp Elite Perk. Although it seems like they are starting to pop up all over the place, I had not heard about them until Yelp introduced me. I am so glad they did! I was pleasantly surprised with my whole experience. I arrived just a few minutes after they opened at 11 and they were not busy yet. There were only two customers ahead of me. The store was clean and bright. There were clear markings on the floor to assist people with proper social distancing. There typically is a dine in area but all of the chairs were stacked to the side. Upon approaching the counter I was greeted by the employees. I advised that I was a first timer and he happily explained how everything worked. I opted to build my own pizza as none of their specialty ones jumped out at me. I chose sausage, roasted red peppers and grilled onions with shredded mozzarella cheese. After baking, I had them sprinkle on parmesan cheese. Although I didn't want them on my pizza, the employees happily gave me Kalamata olives and banana peppers in a small to go cup. I did not try any of their drinks as I am not big on soda or anything flavored. I pretty much just drink water. They did have some interesting flavor options! The employees who checked us out were super friendly! They were pretty quick. I got suckered into buying a chocolate chip cookie they had sitting on the counter near the register. I am so glad it did since it was delicious =) I finally got to eat my pizza after a twenty minute drive back to the office. I love that so many locations are popping up all over the burbs! Recently went to the downtown Silver Spring one! I love how each one is unique in its design. I remember when I saw them building this location and couldn't wait for them to open! Now they're here!! Welcome! Today was my first time ordering from here. As usual, I like to place my order ahead because I don't like having to wait inside too long. Also with the loud music playing and masks, it can be hard to hear. I arrived a few minutes before my pick-up time and my order was ready! There's no indoor dining at the moment. To go only! Parking here is crazy by the way! I enjoyed my pie! I think this location is fairly new! It was pretty poppin and packed on a Saturday afternoon!!! We found parking infront of the restaurant which also shared space with other businesses. Everyone in line adhered generally to the 6 foot markers on the floor. My only concern with this , is at the window to begin your pizza order, people were nearly "on your back" trying to order as you were adhering to the markers placed on teh floor. The staff may have just been trying to get people thru fast but I would have appreciated at least 30 seconds to be able to move forward until someone was reaching over your shoulder to order. I was in the Laurel area and there was an &pizza on my way home so I had to stop. Plus it was lunch time and I was hungry. My choice of pizza was the Bad and Bluezy. Just from the title I knew what it would consist of and I am a big fan of blue cheese. This came with tomato sauce, mozzarella, grilled onion, pepperoni and blue cheese crumble. Perhaps it has been a while since I have patronized them, but I used to get wheat crust at the one on H street, NE. So I'm not sure if differ stores carry different menu options. I got half pesto, half marinara sauce on the regular crust. The only other crust offering was gluten free. Then I got all of the cheeses, sans the vegan cheese, pepperoni, sausage, spinach, chicken, and some other stuff I don't remember. After my pizza went through the oven, I added black olives, arugula, parmigiana cheese, and hot honey as my finishes. I used to get plumb sauce at the end. I will never understand some people's attitudes in the food business. 2 stars primarily for poor customer service and less-than-cooked products. The order line at &pizza has three sections: sauce + cheese, vegetables, and meats. The pickup line is where you pay, receive pizza, or pick up online orders. The &pizza employees are at each end of the line, one on food prep and the other at the pickup side. The gentleman at the food prep end was very stingy with the toppings. So I had to request more of each topping. Yes, you read that right! I asked for more sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and beef. I began to wonder if this young man needed these toppings for himself. My coworker got the "Dirty Bird." All of these toppings were skimp. I had to request more of each: chicken, buffalo sauce, and cheese. I came here for my coworker, so there were two pizzas I had to petition for more toppings. I like thin pizzas well done and crunchy. So I made this known to the food prep guy and the lady at the oven. The pizza came out looking sad and undone. I asked for the pizza to be returned to the oven to cook. Instead, the lady put the pizza in a place I could not see, waited a few moments, then put the pizza in the box. First, a gentleman is stingy with the toppings. Next, a lady is cheap with the heat from the oven. I am unsure if inventory is low or the electric bill is due, but this service is lower than the last time I visited; I may not return. Hot knots include: parmesan-Romano sauce, garlic purée, shredded mozzarella, bacon, Jalapeño peppers and hot honey. Each order comes with a ranch and marinara sauce. There's something about that crispy, yet chewy "light" pizza dough that has a touch of sweetness to it that hits the spot. Hubby's favorite is the "Pineapple Jack'd"- with added pepperoni, sausage, arugula and picked onions. This pizza comes with tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella, pineapple, jalapeño peppers, bacon, and hot honey. You can choose from the pre-set pizzas or customize your own for the same price. I always go custom so I can get the perfect pie. They really strive to make it exactly as you ask. All the ingredients are fresh and you get a custom pizza pretty quickly as the pizza is in the oven for about 2-3 minutes. They are very vegetarian and vegan friendly even to having a special pizza cutter for the non meat pizzas. They also keep the ones for chicken and beef separate. The drinks are also great. Crusts are yummy, love the oblong shape as the pizzas cook evenly and quickly. Who's the genius that decided to open an &pizza in this neck of the woods?! Whoever it is, I'd like to give you a hug...a socially distant one, of course. Located in the same shopping center as the Total Wine and the Target (directly in front of them both), this &pizza is such a welcomed addition to this area. The only issue is, it's in such a congested area. It's right next to a Rita's and Chipotle and the parking is limited to a one way in - one way out type of deal. Pretty hectic area. Nevertheless, it's an &pizza, so the chaos is worth it! I ordered my food online and went inside to pick it up once I received the text to indicate it was done. After we returned home I was a bit annoyed because both orders didn't have all the correct toppings. Sure, the food was delicious and the staff I encountered was friendly, buuuuut, let's try a little harder to get my order correct! I couldn't check the pizzas because they were nicely sealed, but next time I'll know. Cool pizza spot that's fairly new to the neighborhood. No indoor seating at the time because of Covid but you can order ahead and pick up. They serve individual style pies and vegan options. You can customize or order straight off the menu. The concept of the restaurant is a pretty modern and clean atmosphere. I ended up getting the American honey which was pretty tasty. Who knew that a drizzle of honey would go so well on a slice of pizza. The arugula, red pepper flakes, goat cheese and honey made for a great, harmonious blend of flavors. Yummm! read more

So I will start by apologizing for forgetting to take pictures LOL. What I love about &Pizza is they are consistently consist. This location just opened and it is bright, clean, efficient and consistent with their brand. We have been eating at &Pizza since the first one opened on H St in DC. Tonight's Pizza was as good as when we stumbled upon this unexpected delight so many years ago. I ordered the Create Your Own Pizza. Classic tomato sauce, shredded blend amd mozzarella, with pepperoni, Italian Sausage, and Bacon with Spinach. Their oven cooked the pizza to a golden brown perfection. Finished it off with feta cheese and fig Balsamic glazed. It was so tasty I ate it before I realized I hadn't taken one picture. If you have had &pizza before then coming to this location will not disappoint. Now the line was long and wrapped around the outside of the building due to social distancing and this was their second day open in Laurel. Obviously everyone else waiting were fans as well. My Wife ordered the same pizza just about without the bacon and she finished with basil pesto sauce and grated Parmigiano. I ordered the Garlic knots because hadn't had theirs before. Man o man those things were cheesy, crispy, soft, flavorful and oh so good. I did even use the sauces that came with them. They were perfect and made fresh at the same time our pizzas were getting made. Do yourself a favor and go get in line and get you a pizza and some Garlic knots. I've been to many other "instant" pizza places but was excited to try &pizza since it came to the area. The staff was super friendly and helpful when deciding my toppings. The wait wasn't too long though there was a bit of a line. The drink options are not your typical sodas. I went with two fruity options and mixed them together. The crust is nice and thin but not soggy, I added the balsamic and arugula which was a nice touch and balanced everything out nicely. This was my first time having &Pizza. I ordered the Pineapple Jack'd but should have just ordered a create my own. The pizza was just sad. They put like 5 pieces of green bell peppers on my pizza instead of jalapeños. (Edit - They actually don't have green bell peppers as a topping!) The pizza comes with jalapeños not bell peppers. They barely put any toppings on my pizza which felt like I was eating plain pizza dough with tomato sauce.. I probably will not be returning. &Pizza is overhyped. I don't think it's worth it.
