TL;DR: Decent food at a good price, but pizza box contained (dead) cockroaches. I got a lamb gyro and an extra large deluxe pizza (hold the olives). I called ahead, my order was ready on time. The restaurant staff was friendly. They have a few tables, but definitely more of a carry-out place. Solid value for money considering the area. The pizza was ~$19, and the gyro was $7.50 - not bad for ~4 meals worth of food! Flavor was fine, nothing amazing but serviceable given the price point. Pizza crust had a slightly off smell. This would normally be a 3-4 star review. Unfortunately, the box had a dead cockroach on the bottom, and when i removed the last two slices and broke down the box I found THREE MORE dead cockroaches in the folds of the box. I understand that wild animals are not entirely under the control of the business, but I feel that if you have a cockroach problem you should inspect food containers before you fill them and give them to customers. Thankfully these roaches were dead, but they might very well be shipping infestations right into peoples' houses! Downgrading this place a star because of a recent issue I had here. We ordered $42 worth of food over the phone and when we got home the order only had two of the eight items we ordered. This is an excellent little dive pizza joint in a neighborhood shopping center. I mean dive in the nicest way...its a compliment. The decor and furnishings have not changed in 25+ years. The fact that I can vouch for that shows that they have great pizza at very reasonable prices and I am getting old. Normally I want hand tossed thin crust but the flavor of their mushroom and onion trumps all my pizza snobbery! If i can give this place a 10 star i would. I don't even usually write reviews but i just seen that the top review was a 1 star on Google which made me upset.
