Downgrading this place a star because of a recent issue I had here. We ordered $42 worth of food over the phone and when we got home the order only had two of the eight items we ordered. Definitely our fault for not checking but we were in a hurry. When we got home we called and let them know and they said rather than refund they would remake the order for us. I told the guy on the phone that College Park is a long drive for me but since we love the food we'll come back next week for the replacement items. Fast forward a week and we call and tell him to make the order again since were stopping by today. When we get there he had remade the whole order but wanted to charge us again for the two items we got the first time. So basically the first time our entire meal was missing and lunch was ruined and now we were buying the same sub + appetizer again. Since the food was already made I didn't want to argue and risk him throwing it away (don't like food waste) and ended up paying for it. This is an excellent little dive pizza joint in a neighborhood shopping center. I mean dive in the nicest way...its a compliment. The decor and furnishings have not changed in 25+ years. The fact that I can vouch for that shows that they have great pizza at very reasonable prices and I am getting old. Normally I want hand tossed thin crust but the flavor of their mushroom and onion trumps all my pizza snobbery! It is awesome and less then $13 for an ex-large so I continue to make the journey back even after moving to another house 10 years ago. If i can give this place a 10 star i would. I don't even usually write reviews but i just seen that the top review was a 1 star on Google which made me upset. Whoever rates this place anything other than 5 stars is a certified hater. This place is part of my childhood and still go to this day regularly. And the pizza is good if you don't like sloppy overly cheesy (Costco style) pizza. It won't be like that. Their crust is more of an Italian stone over pizza. Id say the best thing to get from there is a sub. I always go for a steak and cheese but chicken or Italian hotcut are also fire. They are quick (usually 15/20 mins) if they aren't too busy. This tasted like grocery store pizza. I gave it two stars because they delivered to my hotel room - which was a plus, so that gave them the bump. I am let down by yelp - normally the reviewers are knowledgable and helpful. It seems that most have never had a decent slice of pizza. Do not go here. Do not order from here.
