Hi ordered a small Julian salad over the phone. When arriving I was charged $10 for a tiny side salad with a piece of Syrian bread that was hard as a rock obviously left over from the day before. First Impressions: Great sauce, reasonable prices Weight Watchers Rating: Splurge Only It's been a long hard road finding a decent pizza in the area, and I'm happy to say that Pizza Bella makes a great basic pie. Cheese pizza is my core test of any pizzeria, and Pizza Bella passed with flying colors. Their crust is not true thin crust, but is still thin in the middle and chewy on the rim. The sauce is nicely balanced in flavor and spice. The amount of cheese is pleasing but not overwhelming. A large cheese pizza is $9.50 (+tax). It's inexpensive and good--a nice combination. We have yet to try their other toppings or other menu items, but we will be returning their and eating our way around their menu. Sal's Pizza, a chain in the area, also makes an okay pizza, but I think Pizza Bella has edged them out in my mind because of their flavorful sauce. It's still not a mind-blowing pie like the one at Cicero's in San Jose, California, but then again...there's only one Cicero's! read more

This place has been around forever and for a good reason. They found the sweet spot between price and convince. You'll pay a bit more for the same size pie than if you drive to Manchester but the pizza is good and service is quick. The topping selections are fairly basic so if you're looking for something more exotic you are out of luck. What they offer is done well and you can consistently get a good pizza. (Therefore I declined the tip offer on the credit card machine rather than haggle over $4.00.) We ordered three toppings including broccoli, which was rather skimpy. It's relatively expensive, and just boring. Normal pizza. What I do like is the gyros. Again, rather expensive, but HUGE. And DELICIOUS. One gyro could easily fill two people with their fluffy flat bread, flowing tzatziki sauce and perfectly sized gyro meat. Get them to-go. read more

Let's start with the good, their pizza is really good. They offer a bunch of specialty pizzas (awesome meat lovers) My favorite pizza is a sausage and green peppers. The less than good-I can't recommend you try the BLT sub, it's actually quite bad. Ordered a blt sub on a few different occasions, always a terrible letdown with very little bacon (limp and lame "ready crisp" precooked bacon) with awful texture, as it's just kind of slimy out of the fridge. I work nearby and frequently order a meatless sub off their menu. When I order this I will say Meatless sub with everything on it. Everything meaning all the available veggies. Most of the time this includes lettuce, tomato, olive, peppers, pickles, onions. They will ask you if you want to add hot peppers or any mustard/mayo etc. The last few times I have ordered this sub this way it has been missing ingredients. I was given a credit on the first one, the second one they offered to remake it for me even though it was a to go order in the middle of the work day. This happened for a fourth time and I finally went back over and asked for a refund. The manager let me know that I need to specify which veggies I want. I figured that "everything" was a specification as in all available veggies, but if you want to have all the veggies I guess you need to list each of them to whoever is taking your order. They gave me a refund and weren't rude about it just didn't acknowledge the mistake at all. Foods okay overall not a terrible place just not a good one either. read more

Way over priced. Staff was rude and stupid. We had to leave to get cash (they dont take debit or credit) and when we came back they couldn't find our order - we were gone no more than 5 minutes. Then when my husband asked how much it would be the girl looked at the receipt and then just stared into space. He asked again and her response was "I don't know." Another employee then comes up to my husband and rudely snaps "sir, your buffalo chicken is being cooked RIGHT NOW" that's fine...we didn't order buffalo chicken and we weren't asking about it. My favorite pizza. The mix of cheddar and mozzarella cheeses makes for a more savory flavor. Similar thickness to typical greek-style pizza. Seasoned fries are not spicy like typical seasoned fries. They are heavily coated in an Italian seasoning, that includes an abundance of fresh chopped herbs. Onion rings are thick, crispy, and delicious. Mozzarella sticks are golden and crunchy. The cheese is always melted inside and served with a great marinara sauce that is always served hot. On the menu it says seasoned/curly fries. Those are two separate items, but they are listed together because they are the same price. The seasoned fries are NOT curly. Everything we have gotten has been very tasty and the service has always been friendly. The restaurant is always very clean. read more

This is my go to for lunch several times a week, but I just had the best Reuben Sandwich I've ever had! Red Arrow Diner in Manchester used to be #1 but this was better. Great homemade cut of corned beef just melted in my mouth and just the right amount of sauerkraut and dressing. I wish they had it on the menu everyday, but unfortunately just a special today. Review is primarily for service issues. Lost our order despite us checking on it and sitting in view in the dining area. Took over 40 minutes and received a perfunctory 'sorry' for our pains, after they spent more time asking if we had paid then prepping our order (though they refused to see the receipt, which is odd if you're worried it wasn't rung up). If it wasn't so late in the evening I would have walked out. Pizza was fine but not worth this level of effort. Italian sub is quite good though hots are not hot, they're just a bit spicy. To complain about the clientele is to not understand what this type of place is; and the fault, so far as I can tell, lies with the reviewers, not Pizza Bella. Kateri, perhaps being the type of person who can dismiss an entire staff as being stupid for making a very common mistake should give readers second thoughts about attaching any weight to your review. Also, how do you know that the entire staff is comprised of high school drop outs? Is it maybe possible that the real problem is with your attitude? Is it possible that you were being a touch dramatic in your retelling of your plight? What I'm saying is you kinda sound like a baby. This is a fantastic place if your looking for a good pizza pie. A lot of the Bedford High School students go here after school and on dates so if your looking for a crowded hot spot this is the place. This menu has that sort of classic pizza place feel its got lots of menu options and is generally all around a pretty good joint. As a Bedford resident, I find myself at Pizza Bella quite frequently. I am not a huge fan of their pizza, as I prefer lots of sauce and minimal cheese (the opposite of which is true for this pizza restaurant), but that's just a matter of personal taste. However, their fries are excellent, and if you ask for seasoned fries, the fries come with this lovely blend of seasonings on them that is extremely good. My one complaint is that Pizza Bella does not take credit cards, and the cash machine in the lobby does not take Bank of America debit cards (nor does the adjacent bank), a fact that left me without a way to pay for my lunch on one occasion. The atmosphere is excellent, the tables and bathrooms are clean, and the staff is friendly. If it wasn't for the lack of credit card capabilities, this would have been four stars. read more

Not the best food in the world. Pizza is gross..the salads are okay. The restaurant is kinda tiny and the service is not as good as it could be. I wouldn't recommend the food and I wouldn't recommend the restaurant in general. All they sell for drinks is sodas and the tap water is gross. :-( read more

In 42 years I have never complained or sent food back! But today........... Have been a loyal and regular customer for over 11 years. Quality of late has gone down hill. On our "LAST" visit, we ordered for pickup and was told 15to 20min. I have no problem waiting! Got there in fifteen and nothing was ready. 25min later the order was done. I would guess that they forgot to put the order in and had to rush it once we were waiting. Got home and the food was defiantly undercooked to raw in places. Called and complained and we agreed that they would remake the order. Sent my daughter to go pick it up and the staff had made her inspect the fresh pizza (with sarcasm), complained that she should of brought the bad order back and then made comments of how now they were giving away free food (like we are a college frat house scamming for free food). To have sent bad product out and then make it seem like the customer was at fault or being picky is ridiculous. (FYI, WE ENDED UP TOSSING ALL OF THEM) In my opinion, they should have apologized for the poor quality, replaced the order, AND refunded the almost $60dollars that we spent there. I hope the owners, managers or whoever run this place see this. This used to be a good place for pizza. Get your shit together. Word of mouth is the best and worst form of advertising. read more
