My friend and I had dinner at the 1750 Taphouse in Bedford, NH. We started with the Buffalo Crispy Brussels sprouts and Buffalo Chicken dip-both were amazing. The dip was creamy, cheesy, spicy, and totally addictive. We each got salads with grilled salmon-mine was the strawberry garden, my friend's was the beet salad. Salmon was cooked to perfection. I was so excited I dumped my dressing on instead of drizzling like a normal person. Zero shame. Yeah love this one. It's a bar but their food is actually quite lovely. The pizza is tip top, apps are great and most importantly the fish and chip is a banger. Last time we went they had a Mushroom Risotto Arancini on special. These jokers were so good The Duchess and I nearly came to blows over who would have the last one. In the end we split it but I wasn't happy about it. Anyways, this place is lovely and it's far better than that other Taproom down the road. If you can get down there for lunch on the patio on a nice day you won't be disappointed. If you are, then you're probably a dopey sod anyway so do one. Five stars. read more

Overall the food has always been very good. Smash burgers and the cobb salad have been great on more than a few visits. Also the tater tots are cooked perfectly. The service has always been great at tables. The bartenders are a strong average but nothing to brag about. Now to what I think this business missed on. I don't have a phone that can read your stupid beer app. Stop bragging about how brews you have if I can't get a list. They say it's because they switch so often, got it! So get a chalk board!! WOW! That's what we call a $5 solution. Next and this is where you'll want to pay attention if you don't like to get stiffed on a meal. The digital payment method. They don't want to give a paper receipt. And when you get one, they bring it over but when you leave your card they bring a machine over and scan it in front of you. Hey, I'm all for transactions in front of me but thats not why they do it. First time visit last evening. Seated promptly by a very friendly server. Food and beverages were delivered without much delay. appetizers of bar pretzels tasty with two dipping sauces. My partner has an intolerance to tomatoes and the server checked with the kitchen to make sure on sauce was tomato free. over all experience to good. Went here a while ago but its not really in my usual neighborhood so I kinda forgot about it. Happen to be going by and stopped in. Glad we did! The inside is nice and bright. Wide open with a great bar. Plenty of TVs to watch the game on. Pretty good sized rotating draft beer list that you can access via QR code as well as on a big screen over the bar. Staff are all really friendly and the service is great. As for the food....HUGE! We went in for lunch so didn't really plan on a huge meal but that didn't matter because that's what we got. Had a cup of chili (killer!) and " half" a Cobb Salad. Absolutely enormous portions as you can see in the pic. Saw a couple of giant pizzas go by and will definitely be getting one the next time. This is a three star venue. Nothing to get upset about here nor is there anything to get excited about here. If you missed the turn and drive by you're not missing out, but if you choose to dine there, you should have an OK experience. Starting with ambience, as that is specifically important to me. This place is lacking in that category. The set up is a little funky, but there are almost no decorations or anything to add to the aesthetic. There are a few TVs on the smaller side compared to most. it was extremely chilly in there the day we went. It's not a warm, well designed atmosphere. No music. In a taphouse, we are always looking for a place with multiple TVs, hard cider on tap, and great pizza. As already mentioned, the TVs were small and not that many of them. As for the cider, they only offered one option on tap, we found that disappointing. Now for the food. We ordered wings and pizza. The wings were crispy, but had very little flavor. You can tell the wings themselves are not seasoned and the sauce they dip them in was barely there. Additionally, it would appear as if they make their ranch, but that was also lacking in flavor and had clumps. It needs salt and needs to be better blended. The pizza was really good. We had the Roni special and enjoyed it quite a bit. Our server was very prompt and very friendly and checked back on us a couple of times to make sure we were all set. We probably will never dine in at this location again, but we could possibly get a takeout pizza. read more

Took myself out for a post Mothers Day treat. As I work in the industry I know a gem when I find one. This place is a GEM. It all starts with the staff. Julie, a server, is so accommodating and just makes you feel like you are her only customer. Crytalynn is also amazing. Their service and attitude is spot on. Now, the food!! So so good!!! Their cornbread is one of my favorites. Their salads are crisp and fresh. You can't go wrong with any entree. Including Mac N. Cheese! They have outside seating as well. Food is pretty good, but their front of house and kitchen needs to get their act together. Second time this week that orders got screwed up. First time was fine as wife's plan was to split meals. Hers shows up mine never did. Bar manager made it right and got my meal on the fly. Cool can deal with that no problem, but decided to try their pizzas as they sounded good. Put order in and wife goes to pick it up, they somehow gave our order to someone else. How is that even possible? Guess you don't ask names or confirm what you are giving for takeout items. Utter failure wouldn't recommend as there is no way this is now a random thing that happens. Mother's Day was busy but Service was excellent still! Shaina was our waitress and she was at our table checking on us to be sure we didn't need refills on anything, she was definitely amazing. My husband had the Short Ribs meal and he said it was the best meal he's had at a restaurant in a long time. The owners do not treat the staff well based on the discussions we have had with our servers which is leading to high turnover. There is an ever changing selection of local brews as well as some national brands as well as a full bar. Food selections tend towards sandwiches and they consist of generous portions. I had the Lord Russell roast beef sandwich which included fried pickles on it. It was good but I thought the roast beef was a little overcooked and the sandwich was a bit dry, at by Buffalo standards where we have the worlds best roast beef. read more

Everything was awful. The spicy dip tasted awful. I ordered the simplest thing (Cobb salad with grilled chicken) my plate comes out with pulled pork or chicken. I told the food runner that it wasn't right and she looked at me and said "yeah I'm assuming we ran out of grilled chicken so in the back they ripped up the ticket and threw that on your plate." Like seriously? How does an American restaurant run out of grilled chicken. The server never came over and said do you want something else or that there wasn't any even after I said something. The food runner said she would ask and come back and never did. And then on the bill I was charged for grilled chicken. It is also beyond unprofessional to scan the card on the mobile and stand there starring at the screen when I'm adding up a tip for the terrible service. Overall awful and don't plan on returning. It doesn't help that as soon as the party next to us left and they were bussing there table the workers were openly talking about that which is rude. read more

Great restaurant! We called in advance to reserve an igloo, which was very isolated and clean. The food was all very good, tater kegs were loaded with cheese and the salad ingredients were so fresh. Took a friend here for lunch. Our server was Alyssa V and she was great! We both got burgers and they were so good. I had the Smash burger with fries; I could have had 2 they were so good. I called to enquire and they put me on hold and never picked back up. Now I'm calling and getting only busy signal. If you need 60 minutes, just tell me 60 minutes. Don't say 30 minutes and then me wait. Our children are hungry and crying. Wow, update: finally got the pizza home and it is burnt. Months go by and I seem to forget that I don't like this place - but then the menu looks so promising and I hope the next experience will be a good one. It was not. Again. I was solo last Thursday evening and would be driving right by the Taphouse on my way home so I decided to grab takeout. I ordered the short rib entree and Pot au Chocolat. When I opened the shirt rib container there was an immediate stale oil smell. It was the potato gaufrette, which are basically waffle cut potato chips. They tasted and smelled like they were fried in stale oil with a rancid taste. I immediately picked those off and tossed them so you won't see them in the picture. The short rib just didn't have the richness of a short rib. It had more of a texture/taste of pot roast. It was fine for pot roast, although pretty bland, but I really wanted a nice short rib. The carrots weren't fire grilled and had the amazing ability to be both shriveled and over cooked on the outside while the inside was hard raw crunchy carrot. Zero seasoning. They were thrown. The risotto was decent but a bit too undercooked for me and not very creamy. But that dessert...omg was it terrible. Whoever makes and serves this should be absolutely embarrassed! It's described as a rich chocolate custard with whipped cream. This was chocolate SOUP. I put it in the fridge thinking maybe it would set up a little. Nope, still soup the next day. Definitely NOT a "custard", not even a pudding consistency. Also, it came with no whip cream, which would have disintegrated into the chocolate swamp anyway. Just terrible. I forgot to get a picture. The meal was packaged nicely, it looked good, pickup staff were friendly, but at the end of the day it's about the food and this place has never been good for me. This visit gets one star. read more

Very new, so very busy - keep that in mind. Having said that... fried pickles were great: pickle spears in beer batter with a Parmesan ranch dipping sauce with or without a Sriracha dusting. Charcuterie board was great: goat cheese, a soft blue cheese and manchego (which I'm not a fan of), plus smoked duck (too salty) and chorizo, pickled onion and fruits. Chicken finger platter was great - fried but juicy and meaty, and it came with fries and a choice of dipping sauces. My only compliant was the booth. The back had a ledge at the top which I banged my head in several times, and there were edges at the end, which made them hard to get out of. If this is the only issue, I wouldn't let that stop you from trying their fantastic looking brick-oven pizzas!!! read more

We generally get pizza and a salad, take out from 1750 but recently friends suggested we eat here and we've been back a couple times since because everything was great! At this point we've tried a variety of things and it has all been great. The cheese pizza & house salad with lemon vinaigrette (this dressing is amazing!) will continue to be our go to for take out Dining in the restaurant (and on the great patio!) we've had some great meals as well - The veggie risotto with salmon added - delish! Though the entire dish probably needed to cook 5 minutes longer; the rice was a tad crunchy and the brussels & corn were both a tad hard. However the flavor was great and the salmon was perfectly cooked! Steak tips and mashed potatoes were delish - Brussels could have been cooked a bit longer, maybe just an off night with the veggies Smokeshow - pulled pork was great Nachos - huge! Shared by 3 kids as a meal and there were still leftovers! BBQ chicken pizza - nicely done! Not overly cheesy so the pieces could be picked up rather than a soggy mess from too much cheese and sauce like I've seen this pizza be at other places Kids burger is simple and perfect for kids and the fries! Very dissapointing visit on a Saturday after Soccer games. Not sure if the staff did not like waiting on children but they sure kept us waiting to order and then bought our food out cold. Will not be returning. They appear to have a real proble with flies. Each table is given a table top fan to keep them at bay. Pasta was not drained and swimming in water, Louis the First was the last thing I ended up wanting after looking at the sad, dry sandwich. Went to the 1750 Taphouse in Bedford for the first time. Place was busy, so I expected a really good dinner. We both ordered soup and our entrees. We waited at least 40 minutes for our dinner. I do realize it was a Saturday evening, but our server never bothered to check in with us as to why it was taking so long. When she finally did, I asked about our soup. She was surprised and thought we wanted it with our entree. Unless you're ordering a soup & sandwich combo, you should always get the soup first. If you're not sure, we should have been asked. When I finally received my entree, baked haddock, I really wanted to ask what happened to the rest of it. A $22 entree was a medium piece of fish and 4 over-coated onion rings. These is certainly one of very few negative reviews. I'm not a difficult or picky eater, but I expect to get my money's worth. Certainly won't be going back. read more

The beer selection was good but I selected a few beers from the menu that were not on the bar (mgmt: take notice- change ur beer menus frequently: or get a revolving screen). It was a frustrating 15 mins for the waitress of playing the game of thinking I wanted a can of beer and looking around frantically, fu ally the bartender stepped into say the beer was kicked a week prior... The floor was pretty absent if any management despite our bad bad food, waiting for drinks, no refills and they forgot our appetizer. So it def felt like a rookie night all around in the service department. Another thing I thought was odd; we got sat in the far left side corner with equipment that was tucked in a corner, beer signs strewn around like a bachelor pad with poor vision. Also, what also messed me up was the poor selection of lighting themes; Warm and cool lighting along with Edison lighting in wall lighting.
