We had an issue with Toast on our order, and Anthony went above and beyond, remaking our pizzas and even giving us extra sides (even after the restaurant was technically closed!). The pizza was awesome and we'll definitely be coming back. read more

I picked up 2 pizzas today April 30, 2024 and they were both burned and I called to let them know and they were very rude. They never told me they were sorry, because they weren't sorry and didn't care. If you accidentally burn a pizza, you could tell your customer that I'm sorry we burnt your pizza and make new ones. This place used to have the best subs. Super crusty delicious bread. Last time I ordered it came on just a soft hoagie roll, just straight out of the package. Tasted like something I could have made at home. They also used to have delicious paninos on focaccia. I also ordered one of those, and it looked like they'd tried to make a top and bottom layer out of a pizza crust. It was so thin it fell apart. Ordered a large 14" pepperoni 11/24/24. I counted 35 pepperonies. No pepperoni under the cheese. It was a cheese pizza w/"some" pepperoni. I will stick with Edwin's, Donatos, or Primos next time. I had heard some mixed reviews about Pizza Booyah, and being the pizza connoisseur that I am i decided to take the 15 minute drive north of my house and check them out. I online ordered my food, it still wasnt ready when i got there and so i was a little annoyed. I ended up waiting in total about 30 min for my order, and by this point i was super annoyed and hungry. The pizza was good though. We got a classic meat lovers, and the baked potato pizza. YUMMY in my tummy! Was so good, definetly felt like they took a potato filled it to the brim with toppings and served it pizza style. The meat lovers was packed with toppings, no skimping on their side, and super flavorful. Despite the wait my pizza was fresh and hot, and was actually delicious. I hold a bias for Ohio pizza being the NYer that I am but out of a scale of 10 it was a solid 7 for authenticity and for what i usually look for in my pies. Some hints, I would tell the owner he needs some more stock in his coolers, there was two bottles of pop when i went in, that was it. And perhaps a better ordering system with an estimated time? All in all if you're craving some doughy goodness i recommend this place over the chains any day of the week. read more

Not good quality meat . I paid 9.00 for just this one and I purchased about 8 sandwiches, my bill was over 75.00 and all were like this. I had two slices of turkey in my 9.00 sub. I had not been back because of Covid so I was a bit pissed this is how they did me. Needless to say I won't be back and my Yelp is on here for as long as this store stays alive which won't be long if they keep this up. I tried e mailing them so I could send picture but no email. I've seen a lot of amazing reviews for this spot... and they're all very well deserved. Pizza Booyah sells, hands down, the best sandwich I've ever had. One of my favorite places to rave about locally! They have really thick bread. Kind of reminds me of the Panera baguettes? So don't be too eager. Or be. You've just been warned. I have ONLY ordered the turkey sub. Why? Because it blows my mind every time. For being lactose intolerant, the cheese amount is excessive but like, in a good way. I will gladly take a Lactaid every time. Also very pleased by the veggie selection and customization options! And the sauce, WOW. Inside they also have a great selection of chips, pop and more. I hear the pizzas are great too - just can't get myself to order them when the subs are so good! The workers are so kind and the orders are always speedy and accurate. Only reason I found this place is a co-worker lives by it and swears by it. He brought in a menu and we ordered but they don't deliver all the way to downtown Cleveland. He likes this pizza so much he ran and picked it up and brought it to us. They have a great deal on Tues and Weds where it is ANY TWO PIZZAS W UNLIMITED TOPPINGS....wow. We got 2 XL pizzas for $20. 5 items on one and 6 on the other. Fantastic pizza. What we were all amazed by is the sausage and the hugeness of each piece of sausage. I added a pic before I wrote this. Hands down best sub I've ever had. I've been coming to this place for a decade. Every time I visit back in town this is a staple of my visit. It's an unsuccessful trip unless I've gone here. I order the large hot Italian sub every time I go, it's always mind blowingly good. The cold cuts are over flowing, topping are a great crunch and the sauce is a contrast that ties the whole thing together. The workers are very kind and owners are always welcoming. I ordered a hot Italian sub today from pizza booyah and I asked for it to be lightly toasted. Instead of lightly toasted I got extra toasted. I called the store and told them and they remade the sub for me but I still had to drive back up there to get the second one. Now that I got a chance to eat my sub now that my lunch break is over, I opened an absolute mess of a sub and there's not even any hot peppers on it. I called the store to tell them about it and got met with a "well what do you want me to do about it?" And an "I already remade the sub so I'm not making another one" from Lynn and the other girl working in the kitchen. I stated that I didn't want another sub and since I didn't eat either of my subs I wanted a refund, but apparently to them I'm just trying to scam them out of a meal. I have been a customer of pizza booyah for about 5 years, and at one time my company bought $97 worth of pizza in 1 day. Tell me would you eat this sub? First timer here.... I ordered a large Supreme Deluxe pizza and a side salad with ranch. Side salad was good, but huge! Was not expecting that so it was a nice surprise. The pizza was amazing. The crust and sauce are so flavorful. I couldn't pinpoint where the flavor was coming from but I could taste the seasoning, it wasnt over powered by the tomato and the crust was not bland. The pepperoni is super thick cut, again another bonus. The only thing I'll advise is that a large is more sized to a Med. So if you are feeding a family or office, get the extra large. Placed an order through Uber eats. The small sub is listed as 10in on Uber however when it arrived it was literally (I measured it) 5inches. I called the store and got a really unhelpful employee on phone who started to explain how they cut the bread and that a small ranges from 5-10 inches but I tried to explain to her the Uber app says a small is 10inches and says nothing about a range of 5-10 so how would someone ordering know that. She in turn said well we're new to Uber and said they don't know how to change it do I? I couldn't believe she asked me as a customer did I know how to change the Uber app? Got the 2 smalls for $10 deal today which is an amazing deal as always. The flavor of the pizza was on point just like always. Service was friendly and accommodating. The two pizza's that i ordered where the all meat pizza and the Hawaiian, that i changed to white sauce instead of the normal red sauce. The dough was perfectly cooked airy with a nice bite to it and the crust was light and perfectly crispy and crunch. My issue and the drop to 4 stars is the lack of care for topping placement, distribution and very very unequal cuts. With that being said i will be back and hopefully i can bump my review back up to five stars if they put some care into topping and slicing there pizza (we eat with are eyes first). read more

My mom and grandma raved about this place so I figured I would try it when I came to visit. I assumed that if they were raving about it, it was pretty good. I was wrong. It was awesome! I called to place my order as their online ordering system is not up and running so if you want to be the modern anti-social, you may be frustrated that you actually have to demonstrate the long lost art of dialing and talking to a live person. They offer 2 pizzas for $10/15/20 depending on size (S/M/L respectively) so I went with two of the 8-slice, medium pizzas with different toppings to share. The crust was crispy, the toppings were generous, and was ready when promised. The sausage was not crumbled but in actual chunks like you get with most Chicago style which made the slices heavy but still able to pick up. The sauce you can tell is not straight from a can and actually complimented the crust/toppings well. I recommend using a knife and fork to spare your favorite shirt from the ever dreaded cheese/sauce stain. If you are expecting thin, NY style pizza then you will be underwhelmed but if you like something not quite deep dish, this is definitely the pie for you. read more

TERRIBLE! I grew in Cuyahoga County and ate my far share of pizza. Angelo's in Lakewood, Edison's in Tremont, Antonio's in Parma and Dina's in Cleveland. There have been many others but that's what has been the go to for me. Since I've moved to Lake County I have tried to find places similar to those mentioned. After reading the reviews I thought I'd give Pizza Booyah a try. I ordered pizza and wings. Now I don't have high hopes for chicken wings at a pizza shop even these wings didn't meet the low expectation. The chicken wings at the local All-Can-Eat Chinese buffet are superior. After ordering twelve wing wings I ate two and tossed the others. I thought about taking the bone out and feeding my dog but I figured I spare myself with the clean up. As for the pizza... When I was a kid the birthday parties were at Chuckie Cheese. The birthday package included the pizza which I remember eating. When I took my first bite it brought me back to 20+ years ago and not in a good way. My old house had one nearby and this pizza is the prime example of why I haven't order from there since. read more

I'll never return here. I ordered large pizzas, cooked well done. They were doughy and soggy. A wet pizza is not appetizing to me. Greasy is one thing, wet and soggy is different. Ordered spicy Italian subs and don't receive all of the meats that come on the sandwich. When I called to discuss the food, they didn't answer professional. They said "hello". I had to confirm I was calling Pizza Booyah. I couldn't receive and answer as to what to do about my sandwiches, because they said they had to call me back in a few minutes. Which meant I didn't get a chance to discuss the pizza until I received a return call. In the meantime, I packed up my order so I could drive 15 minutes to return it. When returning the food for a refund, I had to check my bank card email for using my card. Because they gave me less for the refund than what was paid. Since I didn't get an original receipt, I'm thankful I can see my card transactions. Disorganized, unprofessional with no interest in customer service skills or did quality. read more

They have great pizza, but I can't understand why I can't get extra cheese!! I order extra cheese I pay for extra cheese. I've even gone so far as to request triple cheese. Everything was amazing! We played the food critic last night and pretty much ordered one of everything. We got a BYOP, pep, mild pepper rings and sausage, as well as the marg pizza. A sub (because I was told we HAD to try by a friend of mine,) so we ordered the turkey club, and a garden salad. Let me start off by saying, when I called the woman that answered the phone was SO sweet! We're new to the neighborhood and this was our first time ordering from here. She informed me on EVERYTHING and was so kind about it. Not like I bothered her at all! (Which I feel like is hard to find at pizza places anymore.) So we started off on a great foot. Pizza - was BOMB. PERFECT amount of the most delicious sauce, toppings were awesome. They season it too, which is different but awesome touch! The sub - I have to be honest, I'm partial to daves cosmic subs in our area but this might have been better. (Don't hate me) Overflowing with fresh meats, and that sauce, we ordered a SMALL AND IT WAS HUGE. So so good! The salad- Okay, I know most people don't order salads with pizza, but it tricks me into thinking we're keeping it a little healthy. :) Normally at a pizza place, salad isn't their show piece, but this one could have been! Their dressing is the same as that delicious sauce they put on their subs. Not even kidding when I said every veggie on there was SO fresh, no wilted or side veggies that looked forgotten. We picked up 2 large subs yesterday. Ultimate chicken sub and ultimate roast beef sub. Both were excellent. Bread was fresh and delicious. Meat and veggies were plentiful with a very tasty italian sauce dressing. Large sub was a foot long. Best subs in town hands down!! Can't wait to try the pizza. read more

Wow! We ordered one white and one red pizza with pepperoni, sausage, artichokes, mushrooms and spinach. They were both outstanding! The sauces were well flavored and not bland. The dough was just the right thickness to hold all the toppings and tasted great. The toppings were huge and fresh. The sausage and pepperoni tasted great. We have a new favorite pizza place. OMG! The pizza is so good that I ate three pieces of pizza before I remembered that I was on a diet - that's how good it is.
