The location is very small. The majority of the their business is the take out and catering. They have two small tables which have reserved signs on them. When I asked about the signs, the owner told me that she kept the signs there so the delivery services won't sit down. A friend and I met for dinner. The service was exceptional. The food was even better. The portions were generous. The white balsamic vinaigrette was thick and tasty which went beautifully with the freshness of the salad. The chicken picatta was so good. My friend loved her chicken marsala. The owner let us sit there until we were ready to leave. I would highly recommend Trios. read more

my mother and I went in and I felt bad bc we didn't like 2 of the things we ordered and the kid waiting on us didn't care at all. I've never had someone treat us kinda like we were a nuisance bc we wanted to eat there and then it wasn't the best food either. we aren't people that complain often. maybe we just ordered stuff that wasn't that good. just wasn't the best service on top of that. In town to see my Mom and looking for GooooooD Italian food. Called several places but wanted to try this small (yet awesome) Italian trattoria. We had a Pesto Genovese Pizza, Spaghetti & Meatballs, Inferno Alfredo Pasta, traditional Crispy Wings, Arancini, and wedding soup. So to start we had the wedding soup and Crispy wings. Wings were tres Crispy and leveled up by the garlic parm dip. V Good folks....totally surprised. The Arancini was like Portos Bakery potato balls but instead of potato it was risotto with goat cheese and wild mushrooms, then fried to perfection. The outside is light and Crispy while the wild mushrooms and goat cheese dance in your mouth like long lost lovers. Main course was Pesto Genovese Pizza, Spaghetti & Meat Balls, and Inferno Alfredo Pasta. The Pizza was , as my big bro said, "real Pizza". The toppings were generously distributed on the semi thick crust. Then dashes of EVOO to dress it up. Shall I say......yummmeerz. The Spag & Meatball was also a generous amount good for 2. Angel hair pasta with a stick of Italian bread. The marinara sauce was just the right amount of tartness and blended with the pasta like old friends reunited. The Inferno Alfredo Pasta was not only delish all the way around; it was prepared with passion and love. The shrimps were perfectly grilled a la Cajun style. The dish was mated with spinach, tomato, onions, garlic and swimming in a Cajun cream sauce. N'awlins y'all!! This lil place is a gem of a find. The veritable diamond in the rough. My only regret is that I'm leaving tonight and I can't enjoy the Bucatini, Veal Parm, Veal Marsala and 5 Pepper Chix. For such a cozy place how do they pull off this amazing menu? Fogettabout Olive Garden.....this is the place to hit folks. If all the dishes are passionately prepared like the ones we had.....you will be in for a gastronomic adventure. 10 stars to the Chef. When I return to Mentor, I'll frequent this slice of heaven again. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I just needed something sweet in the burger (onion jam?) to balance all the flavors. Found this quant restaurant. Only 2 tables but so worth the wait. The place was clean and the service was that you would find in a locals only place. I got the chicken parmigiana sandwich. Trios is located on RT 20 in mentor in a plaza not far from the 306 intersection. It's very small and can miss it if not looking closely. I just happened to spot it one day and did my research and it had great reviews. I had to try it. The inside is VERY small. Only room for 2 tables and a table outside. This is primarily sought out as a takeout option. Works for me! I order my food to go a lot as I have a busy schedule and don't have the time nor patience to dine in most of the time. But I love supporting local businesses. They use ChowNow app to order your food online. I've had no issues so far from using the app. Quick and easy. My orders have been ready in 20-30 minutes, awaiting fresh and hot for me when I arrive. They have a lovely desert case at the register and was eyes always divert there first. That peanut butter cheesecake pie is calling my name...one day... So far I've tried the truffle burger, caprese chicken sandwich, eggplant Parmesan and chicken Marsala. Everything is fantastic! Delicious! The standout for me are the burger and sandwich. I know was your thinking. A burger at an Italian restaurant? Not kidding. This has to be the best burger I've tried in a very long time! Small Italian restaurant with two tables for eating in and a wonderful take-out menu! Hubby and I each ordered a sandwich and a pizza to take home. The sandwiches were HUGE and on the best bread! One of the best meals I've had in ages! my friend had the carbonara And I had the Bolognese which we split but I couldn't tell you which one was better because they were both unbelievably delicious!!! You walk in and think you're at a pizza joint until you see the menu and try the food! another couple sat next to us and he said it was the best burger he's had in his entire life!
