To management of this Pizza guys on bouquet canyon: Can you train your workers to wear gloves when making the food? And hair net. I was grossed out by the guy handling the dough and toppings with his bare hands. Who knows if he just went to the bathroom and came out in a rush to make pizzas??? Also the bathroom is not open to customers so don't know how clean it is. For the love of (food) God, Allah, Buddha, Shiva, Mother Earth... put those damn gloves on!!!!! read more

I first had pizza guys at a fitness and loved it! I ordered about 2 times since then. I was very happy with the delivery because they keep the food in insulated bags so the food is still pretty hot when it arrived. The specialty pizza was amazing. I ordered a chipotle chicken pizza and it was sooo good. This last time they had a special and I could choose my 2 toppings. I got a pepperoni pizza and chose chicken and bacon and well I might have missed adding a sauce because it was dry. It was delicious but dry. I'll try again next time I order and get the chicken pizza with the chipotle sauce to add on top. So far this is one of my favorite places to order. TLDR: Disturbing behavior from employee toward my child. I visited this location last summer with my 5 y/o daughter and 3 y/o son after a trip to a nearby park. There were three employees working, and the one who seemed to be in charge made us extremely uncomfortable. He appeared to be of South Asian descent and the whites of his eyes were yellowish. He was FIXATED on my daughter and it was disgusting. He kept asking her if she'd be friends with him, wouldn't leave her alone when she clearly looked uncomfortable, and stared at her in a way that was completely inappropriate for a grown man around a child. He even came over to our table at one point to do this. It was creepy, unsettling, and absolutely crossed a line. As a South Asian woman, I'm sadly not unfamiliar with this type of behavior, but it is a hard no for me. We won't be returning. Parents: be warned. Management: if this is the kind of person you're hiring to work around children, that's a serious failure. Do better. read more

WARNING: DECEPTIVE RESTAURANT PRACTICING UNDER MULTIPLE NAMES I was a repeat customer when this restaurant first opened, and it quickly became a family favorite. However, after a management transfer, we noticed the quality of the food decreased dramatically. One day I went in the store to pick up our food and I saw the workers using a canned butter spray on the pizza as it was loaded into the box. I'm guessing shortcuts like this are the reason we were suddenly having issues digesting the food after the change. I tried to order food from a DIFFERENT RESTAURANT through a delivery service today, only to discover that "Calzone Life" is actually Pizza Guys operating under a different name. They were smart enough to get different boxes for their food, but dumb enough to use a Pizza Guys bag for delivery which gave them away. I got a refund through the delivery service but am left with the delayed processing of the funds and a lunch I can't eat. Question: Why do they need to deceive us to gain more business? If it was good food, wouldn't that be enough to gain patronage? read more

While waiting for my fantasy legit NYC style pizza to open up in the SCV we gave Pizza Guys a try. They've got good enough pizza with a few different crust options (thick, thin, gluten free, stuffed and "original") so something for everyone's preference. Three of us got three different pizzas with three different crusts (our kid loves thick, I like thin, and my wife is gluten free) so it's nice to be able to order from one place. We also appreciated their vegetarian options with a couple unique Impossible Meat creations including the Impossible Beef BBQ (which I got and liked.) The pizza was hot on arrival too which, sadly, doesn't always happen with delivery pizza up in this neck of the woods. I'd try more from here while waiting for my fantasy NYC pizza joint to open up someday. read more

If you're looking for the best cheese stuffed light, fluffy, pizza crust THIS IS IT!! I am on a new diet and had to order the gluten free crust, it was ok. I haven't found one that's amazing yet, it was very dough like but super thin. I couldn't get it to be crispy even in the air frier. We ordered wings to go (Parmesan and bbq) both were good. I suggest signing up for the app for points/ discounts. There was a coupon in the scv magazine. The pizza is costly, what isn't these days. This is a place to come in and pickup to go, or sit and relax and have some food. I would come back anyway for the pizza (regular not gluten free crust) and all of the pizzas are great. Bookmarked some time back and finally a takeout try of Pizza Guys today, which has only been at this location the last couple of years. We went with one large Classic Vegetarian Pizza just to get a sample taste of their pies. Speedy preparation time, like 15 minutes, and they text you as soon as your order is ready for pickup. Not great but decent pizza; I rate them a step above, say, Domino's. But somehow the nice variety of veggies all lose their distinct flavors. But just satisfying enough overall to warrant a return visit. A 2 liter bottle of soda was also included in this $27.00 order. read more

Yay! Our first time trying and we will order again! Why is it so hard to find local cup/spicy pepperoni? Well, they have it! Got a large stuffed garlic crust with pepperoni two ways and it was lovely. The sauce is very good and they listened when I requested "light sauce". The stuffed crust was tasty, and the cheese flavorful. The personal thick crust cheese we got for my kid looked great too. Delivery was 10 min faster than quoted. Thanks guys! read more

I was one of the fortunate Yelp members to get chosen for the Elite pizza offer today and I was so glad I was happy. I called in the order through Shawn who also met us when we went to pick up the order. We chose the Serrano Chili pizza per the menu, since the description was perfect (Canadian-style bacon, applewood smoked bacon, sliced red onions, pineapple chunks, Kogi Serrano Chili sauce drizzle, and topped with fresh chopped cilantro)...wow, flavorful and delicious pizza. The sauce really popped with those fresh ingredients. We also chose to get 16 bone-in wings with two sauces, 1/2 the order of Frank's Red Flamin' Red Hot and the other 1/2 order being Mango Habanero. They gave extra sauces, you could choose, but since we picked those flavors we decided the extra sauces would be the same. The pizza was really good, fresh flavors, tender crust just what a pizza should be. The wings were nice sized and the sauces were spot on. THIS IS A REPOST OF MY REVIEW FOR THE YEE (YELP ELITE EVENT) HOSTED ON AUGUST 3rd: Thank you Pizza Guys for such a great YEE! It was so nice to have a real-life-in-person event. Also, the pizza and service were fabulous! A++. The pizza guys is a brand spanking new (and I mean NEW- less than a month old) business. To celebrate and get the word out there, they had a fabulous YEE which gave us all a free pizza. If you didn't order something else too, you really missed out. For my order I tried the Texas BBQ (Hot & Spicy Barbeque Sauce on our Original Crust, topped with Mozzarella Cheese, All-Natural Grilled Chicken, Smoked Bacon, and Red Onions). It was DELICIOUS! Even my husband, Mr. "bbq on pizza is gross" enjoyed his portion of the pie. I didn't see him complaining while he ate 3 slices. We also got my son his own pizza ("personal" size). He told us he "felt like a big boy" eating out of his own box - and he scored it three "nom nom nom"s - a delicacy in the toddler world. We also had an antipasto salad - which was large enough for 3 adults to get a good portion of. Everything was delicious and even after a 30 minute drive back home the pizza was still warm and fresh. Also, the service, let's talk about the service. Owners, if you're reading this, good job on selecting who you did. Everyone I talked to was so nice and friendly. It was a welcome change to see all the happy faces in there (let's face it, we've all been sad this 2020!). Service was a 5/5 - could not be better. Parking was plentiful (they're located in a strip mall) and I like that they text you when your order is ready. Do I have anything disappointing to say? Yes. Will never go back. Had an awful experience here. We ordered online and was told it would be ready at 6:11pm for curbside pickup. We arrived at 6:15 pm and was told it would be another 30 mins!!! Ummm we had 2 kids in the car. The point of calling ahead for curbside pickup is so that you can just grab your food and go. My sister said she wanted to cancel, didn't want to wait in the car for 30 mins. The girl on the phone said since she already paid online she couldnt refund our money. Really??? You guys cant cancel an order and refund a customers money? So we reluctantly sat waiting in our car. As we waited we noticed a white car next to us had been there since before we got there. We rolled down our window and asked if they had been waiting. He had the same story as us. He ordered online for curbside pickup and when he got there they told him another 30 mins and they couldnt cancel his order either. What the heck Pizza Guys! What kind of place are you running here. At 6:51 we call from our car (been waiting 36 mins) and they say yes our pizza had been ready for the last 15 mins but they didnt know we were still outside waiting. OMG!!! I had already felt that Pizza Guys was way over priced, but was willing to try it out. Cause heck maybe the pizza is that good. But based on my experience here and the pizza that I actually received ... not only is their food way to expensive for what it is, but the customer service is extemely unacceptable. Da BOMB! If you're a pizza aficionado, you gotta go check out Pizza Guys. Artisanal pizza and worth the 3+ hours drive back and forth. Manjit the owner has the best customer arrive I've ever come across, quick to respond and pleasant to communicate. When I pulled into the clearly marked "curbside pickup" zone, I called and Manjit herself was out within a few seconds with my piping hot pizza and mask on too. Trust me, I had to call upon all my willpower to not start grabbing slices out of the box on my 1+ hour drive back to the Westside -- hubby wouldn't be too happy, or actually I'd get a pass since I did the driving hehe! We got a 1/2 & 1/2 specialty pizza Garlic Lovers & Serrano Chili - sooooooo good! Hard to decide which half is my favorite. Tho me think the pineapple could win me over. If you're close by or driving through, I highly recommend to try Pizza Guys - so many great specialty pizzas to choose from or make your own. I had to do another review because not only I but my Son and his family loved Pizza Guys !! My family came for the weekend and first day I ordered 3 large pizza's and 24 piece chicken wings and 2 salad's , I have to say it was affordable and the food was so good !! Yummy they made everything with Love !!! Seriously it tasted so good my son had seconds and was eating next day with his daughter!! We've been ordering pizza here for the past couple of years. It's a family owned business. It's always been reliable and dependable. One time the pizza took over an hour so they made a fresh new batch and Jay the manager called us and gave store credit. The service was very enjoyable and friendly, and I would give 5 stars for them. I have to say that the pizza is absolutely incredible. We had the Serrano chili pizza and it was not too hot for my wife, yet spicy enough to keep a smile on my face. We also bought a garlic chicken with white sauce pizza. Our first outing to Pizza Guys was during the Yelp Elite perk. My husband had been wanting to order from them, so this was a great opportunity so try them out. We were super impressed with initial visit. Easy to order, ready within a reasonable time frame, and the pizza was delicious. Definitely size up your order as you'll be wanting that extra slice. Love the cup and crisp pepperoni, which is something I can't always order elsewhere. Their menu has so many options for sauces, meats, and veggies so you can customize your pizza any way you like, or go with one of their specialty pizzas. Since our initial visit, I easily order online. The ordering system shows all their specials and remembers your recent order. once you create an account, you can accumulate pizza points towards a free pizza. Also, love that they send you a text when your pizza is fresh out of the oven and ready for pickup. Remember Yelpers, three stars is A-OK. However, I'm surprised by all the five stars that many of you have given this place, I'll give credit where credit is due, the person answering the phone was polite and precise in phone ordering, the pizza was delivered on time and hot but unfortunately everything just tasted average (corporate and pre bagged ) and we ordered multiple pizzas, garlic cheese bread and some appetizers. I didn't realize this place is a chain, I thought it was a "mom and pop" pizza place until I started looking online to order but I gave it a shot anyway. If you are a pizza snob, you probably will not be too excited about eating here. The quality of ingredients are the same as any other chain pizza place, everyone has their pluses and minuses, at least I gave this place is shot. If you are a pizza chain eater then I would recommend giving this place a chance. The Chesecake Factory pumpkin cheesecake was the size of two fingers, for four dollars that was a kicker! The owner is so sweet! My gf and I and I decided 39 mins before they closed to have pizza. Grubhub said they were closed. So we called and asked if it was too late to order a big order and she said YES!! They offered delivery but we live 6 miles from them and they only had 1 driver. She asked if we were willing to pick up the order and we didn't mind as she was so sweet to make our order. When my gf picked up the order she was so sweet and gave us extra ranch because their homemade ranch was out. Delicious artisanal pizza and friendly staff who are taking necessary precautions for COVID-19! Ordering was as easy as your national chains but the pizza is WAY better. Ordered a split specialty pizza and got the Serrano Chili and Fireworks. If you like spicy food, these are both bomb choices. The Serrano Chili is so perfectly balanced between the salty bacon/Canadian bacon, Serrano peppers, pineapples, and Kogi sauce. If you're a pineapple on pizza hater, this may just change your mind ;) The Fireworks is meaty with pepperoni, Italian sausage and jalapeños, which honestly should be a staple for anyone. Had a great first time experience at Pizza Guys! So grateful for the Yelp Elite event on Monday, August 3rd to be held at this location since it is local to me! I would have probably never heard of this place if it weren't for this event and am always down to try new pizza places! Ordered my pizza by the phone and then proceeded to drive over. They do have an operator system in the beginning, and then an employee answers and takes your order for you! I had trouble picking from the different speciality pizzas that they have, so I would suggest looking over the menu first because there are so many options! They have a drive up option where you don't even need to get out of your car! There are several parking spots in front of the restaurant that are designated for this where you just park, call the store, and they bring it out to you. So convenient! The owner brought out our pizza and was so sweet and expressed her gratitude for us stopping by! The price of the large pizza is normally $26.99, which is prettyyyy expensive compared to your good ol Pizza Hut or Dominos. But with orders over $20, they give you a tub of ice cream or a two liter soda to take home with your order! Not too bad, I would probably come here again to try another speciality pizza because there are so many topping combinations to choose from! Um...so Pizza Guys, where have you been all my life? The last time I've tried a really good simple pizza was when I did a pizza tour in Yale town, Connecticut (who knew pizza out there was a thing?!). And for the longest time, Joe's NY Pizza has always been my go-to, but I'm SOSOSOSOSO excited that I have something even better in my city. I went ahead and placed a phone order over the phone in which the gentleman was really sweet and nice of the large pizza with garlic, basil, italian sausage and fresh tomatoes with the tuscany thin style crust. Picking up was smooth in which they still had my pizza in a warmer bag and the manager was so sweet (that customer service though!) It exceeded my expectations in all capacity and I shamelessly ate 6 slices in one sitting and could have easily finished the whole pie, and this comes from someone who has tried lots of pizza but would never choose pizza over any food group. It was honestly so dang good! I'm that person...who leaves the crust on my plate because it's just too doughy, but Pizza Guys, ya'll nailed it! There's just something about really a good chewy crust. Not a single bite was left. And the flavors were on point. They just didn't lack quality or sacrifice their ingredients for it. It was well balanced without it being too salty, and they sure were unafraid of using garlic (so good!) I'm so stoked to come back for more and excited to tell all my friends about it! :) read more
