    Chicken Ravioli with white sauce

i'm from oregon and came to chi chi's specifically because of my boyfriend and his parents talking to highly of it. i was already anticipating good things, but i was absolutely blown out of the water. the food was to die for and the restaurant was beautiful. you can go there casually or for a special occasion. i had the chicken ravioli with their white sauce and my boyfriend had a pizza. i think i'll be dreaming about it for years. the service was great and our server nicki was just amazing. she was so patient with all my questions and all her recommendations were perfect. we will definitely be back and we will absolutely request to be in nicki's section again!

Since 1975 I've been coming here for their pizza, pasta, salads and broasted chicken. For the first time in 50 years I ordered the chicken Parmesan. It was delicious and I feel bad that I never had had it before. My wife and I shared it and a small and apostle salad and everything was terrific. Leticia was our server, and she was very good.

After an absence of some 18 years since our first and only other visit to Chi Chi's, my wife suggested them for dinner tonight. That one prior visit was for takeout only and that was for a pizza which we thought had crust too thin for our liking. But one memory of Chi Chi's that has stayed with me all these years? Was a platter of their sizzling hot golden fried chicken as a waitress passed by with it, while we awaited our pizza. This was finally my chance to sample their Golden Pressure Fried Chicken, A La Carte; with Pressure Fried Potatoes and a Roll included. So that was my order to Raymon our server, as well as a lemonade. For her, it was a Ciabatta Chicken Sandwich. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A very pleasant environment that has held up quite well through the years.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Wait times can be a bit lengthy. But everything arrives piping hot and the large portion sizes help to justify the above average pricing. With half a chicken on my plate, I gladly shared. I finished two of my remaining pieces and saved one for lunch the following day. The verdict? Not bad, I must admit. Very well seasoned, almost on the verge of being overly. But okay. The pressured potatoes weren't bad either; I may have finished 1 1/2 of the I believe initial 4. While wifey just managed nearly half of her sandwich. Also lunch for tomorrow. Raymon was very responsive to our every request. And always with a delightful attitude. Even offering to refill my glass of lemonade. We could learn to put Chi Chi's in our mix. Why not? We've been regularly passing them by all these years, being that they're so close to home.

This is a large less four pieces

Been going to this restaurant my whole life! Well known in SCV for being a great Italian place, comfortable, welcoming, and most of the servers have been there forever and know you! All of the food is fresh, you can watch the open kitchen roll out pizza dough and cook. Fantastic for groups, families, dates etc. the portions are generous, come and get some wine or a pitcher of beer and pizza! I love their gluten free pizza, but all of their salads, pastas, and fried thicken is famous amongst my friends and family.

I've been coming to Piccola Trattoria for years, although I hadn't visited in quite some time…read more Coming back reminded me exactly why I fell in love with this restaurant in the first place. Graziella and her brother have created such a special dining experience. My favorite dish has always been the pistachio sauce ravioli. I didn't see it on the menu and mentioned how much I loved it, and Graziella was kind enough to make it for me anyway, explaining that it's now part of their rotating menu. That level of hospitality is rare and so appreciated. I usually never order ravioli as a main course anywhere else, but this dish is absolutely incredible and unlike any ravioli I've had. I was on a double date and convinced my friend to order the same dish because I couldn't stop talking about it. She absolutely loved it and understood immediately why it's my favorite. My fiancé and his cousin both ordered the lamb chops and couldn't stop raving about them. My fiancé substituted the seasonal vegetables for the arugula salad. He normally doesn't eat salad, but he finished the entire thing and said it was one of the best salads he's ever had. The dressing was amazing, and after trying it myself, I completely agreed. My fiancé's cousin, who I consider like a brother, was trying lamb chops for the first time and said he felt like he'd been missing out his whole life. I also ordered the Prickly Pear Margarita from the rotating cocktail menu and enjoyed it so much that I ordered a second one. The food was outstanding, but the atmosphere deserves recognition too. The patio is beautiful, romantic, and has such a relaxing ambiance. It was the perfect setting for a double date. After being away for a few years, I'm so glad I came back. The food, service, and hospitality were just as wonderful as I remembered. Piccola Trattoria remains one of my favorite restaurants, and I can't wait to return again soon.

They don't have parking unless you wanna pay for valet otherwise you have to walk a block. Bummer off first impression. Living in San Francisco there's endless authentic Italian restaurants to choose from on a daily. Such as Paradisio. Ordered mojito, Cesar salad, shrimp ravioli and Alfredo fettuccine. That Cesar salad was so tasteless and welted. Informed our waiter he dis absolutely nothing lol joke. The mojito was watered down. However the entrees was better. I would recommend entree nothing else. The service was ok. Just seem like the restaurants these days are trying to cut corners and back on cost which the customer is suffering from lack of quality.

The space is quite large, but a bit cramped. We were seated in a a patio-like space towards the back of the restaurant. We ordered the calamari, Mezzelune di Crostacei, and Tortelloni di Brasato. The calamari is highly recommended. It was fresh, lightly fried, and paired well with the sauce. The Mezzelune di Crostecei was amazing. The ravioli was perfectly cooked and the juices from the shrimp and scallop made it a perfect bite. The only disappointment was the Tortelloni di Brasato. The herb cream sauce was delicious and the pasta was perfectly cooked. However, the short rib filling was akin to a beef puree and several of the tortellonis had very little filling. Overall, I had a great experience and looking forward to try other menu items!

So I decided to check out this hidden little Italian joint a bit down the street. I wasn't sure is it was open during lunch so I'm glad I decided to stop and take a look. Upon entry, the restaurant feels super intimate- almost a cozy vibe if it weren't for the white tablecloths and linen napkins. Once I was seated, looked over the menu and ordered, I decided to look up reviews on Yelp. Not as positive as I usually look for before selections a restaurant but I am so glad I came in before I made this snap judgement! I also saw that although being open for lunch, they again close to prep for dinner service so I am equally glad I stopped when I did. I selected the tequila chicken fettuccine, at the recommendation of the wonderful man who sat and served me, ( I was thinking about carbonara). I will probably wake up craving this pasta!! Flavorful, chicken cooked perfectly and not sitting in an overly creamy sauce. I also enjoyed a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, crisp and lovely, and upon inquiry, learned it is not available in stores! I'll probably be back for a glass or two of wine at the very least!

I ordered the most basic items, pasta pomodoro, ( as they call, Positano Amalfi Coast) and Shrimp linguine. Easy, right? Apparently not. For the price you pay, you are not going to get what you want. The pasta pomodoro had a few tomatoes and a ton of pasta, pure garlic flavor. The shrimp linguine had a ton of linguine and a few shrimp. To charge that much for each meal is ridiculous. I'll never order again. Also, the garlic knots are far too greasy. The two shrimp I had were cooked well and had good flavor, so that is the one star.

Because of the large party, our food took longer than normal, but they did bring out our calamari so we weren't waiting with nothing. The portion on the calamari was disappointing. They should seriously consider doubling the portion. My son's pepperoni pizza was really good. Lots of pepperoni and cheese. The dough was thin and delicious. Size was just right. My wife had Ciopino. It was good and we would order it again. I ordered the bolognese and was good as well. Plenty of meat, sauce, and pasta. Good temperature for all three entrees. In terms of the bread, that should be improved. It should be sourdough, but instead it appears to be regular sliced read that they cut into small squares and toasted it a little. Not sure if they added any butter or garlic paste. Small improvements and they get a higher rating.

Lovely spot for drinks and dinner in Santa Clarita…read more I was in the area running errands and decided to grab dinner nearby on a Thusday evening around 6:30 pm. I found this place on Yelp and dropped by for dinner. My party of 2 was seated immediately. Personally I thought the menus were hard to read. The gray lines in the background were quite dark and clashed with the actual menu items. My suggestion to the restaurant would be to reprint the menus with lighter background. They have an extensive cocktail menu with a lot of gin-based drinks. They also have good selection of wine and NA drinks as well, including some mocktails. I got the I'm Driving mocktail ($13), which I really liked. It had good passion fruit flavor without being too sour. Felt like a really nice tropical juice. My friend really liked his drink Bramblin' Man ($17), which had strong notes of bourbon and blackberry. I wasn't super hungry, but the braised short rib looked amazing so I got that for $43. It was very tender, but I personally found it bland especially on the inside. I asked for additional sauce so I could drench each bite in the sauce. My favorite part of the plate was surprisingly the potato croquette, which was perfectly crispy and well flavored. My friend got the chicken club ($23), which he enjoyed. I stole a bunch of his seasoned fries since they were so good. I would've loved to get dessert but was too stuffed. Next time!
