I hate to do this, but it has to be said. The service here is poor, it's so difficult to get a hold of anyone by phone or in person. I watched as a customer came in to order, waited 10 minutes and walked right back out. While the employees are working they are gossiping about their current relationships. We called the store and waited for 15 minutes on the phone to confirm they were open and present, before deciding to drive there to make an order. I was helped by one of the nicest people JBMDL has to offer, Kay. I stopped in around 1300 to get some pasta and wings, she was super helpful and had the best customer service I've come across since being here on TDY for 3 weeks. I received my order approximately 15 minutes after I apple paid, and the food was exceptional and exactly what I asked for. The wings were bomb and the pasta was better than I remembered. Worst Pizza Hut I have ever ordered from. They don't answer the phone. I called them at 7pm they close at 10pm no answer. I drove down to store workers were ignoring the phone ringing. Other two experiences they forgot charged me for ingredients and didn't put them on my pizza and when I asked about it they said they were all out of that topping, did not offer a refund or discount of any kind said I could either take the pizza or not. I called again today September 7 and was put on hold again for 15 minutes after I was going to a delivery order. Both times I called I was placed immediately on hold. I have only been in New Jersey for two weeks on military orders. I have no vehicle cause I'm only here two months and didn't want to drive 12+ hours here. This is one of the few restaurants that delivers on Joint Base McGuire. My two experiences have been pretty good. My food was hot and the delivery man was nice and didn't forget anything. The taste was not the best but it also isn't terrible (at least mine wasn't). But if you just have to have something , this'll do. read more

I keep ordering from here hoping the service will get better but I think it's time to give up. I'll keep it short and sweet. My pizza came 2 and a half hours late....and it came cold. When I called, I wasn't offered a refund or anything until I asked and they said they could give a me a coupon for a future pizza but it wasn't for the same amount I paid tonight. I'm pregnant and hungry and sooo bummed about this. (Please note that I asked if they were busy and they said no but they only had one driver). It would've been better if someone had called to inform me about my late pizza. :( The 2 stars instead of 1 is because they were at least nice on the phone. When I called about my cold pizza, they were nice and offered to remake it. But....that was now an hour ago. What are the chances my pizza isn't cold again? This happens almost every time unfortunately. Just so y'all know I'm not crazy(I don't like to complain). My original order was placed at 3:40pm and it is now 7:25pm. Honestly I don't know why there are low ratings for this place. I'm disappointed that there isn't a lot of Pizza Huts near by where we live but this place makes their pizza great. Whenever I go to eat at other pizza places I tend to feel sick and bloated, but eating here doesn't make me feel those ways. I actually feel great and the pizza was delicious. I especially love eating their supreme pizza because all the other pizza places have so much meat in their supremes but you can't go wrong with Pizza Hut. The employees here are always attentive and they show great customer service. The downside is that it is located on base so you need access, but I noticed in one of the reviews they gave it a one star just because it was located and they didn't know and it's not this establishment fault. Disappointing!! I got a cheese thin crust. I also used to manage a Pizza Hut. The pizza they gave me -- without opening the box, which is supposed to be the standard for quality assurance but my own fault for not doing it until I got home -- was burned, not cut all the way through & the dough was obviously not properly prepped. Not satisfied with my order tonight. It took close to 2 hours to get my cheese stuffed pizza and order of cheesy bread. Once the order got here, the driver apologized which was nice. Took my stuff inside and the cheese on and in my pizza and on the cheesy bread was already rubbery, chewy and starting to harden. My food was barely warm and I had to reheat everything up in the oven. Reheating this in the oven never tastes as good as if I was fresh from the store itself. They can never get the order correct. When you call, they always transfer you to another number that is out of service or no one ever answers the phone. I will never order again from them again. One of the worst customer service experiences you can imagine. Came to Dix for training, called the number provided on yelp. After about ten rings, someone answers. After asking my name, location, favorite color, and other filler questions, tells me I need to call a different number to place my order. I call the number, person answers with the typical "thank you for calling Pizza Hut, carry out or delivery?" I give my name, credit card, and address. Driver calls me 20 min later and says she can't find my building. After going back and forth on street names, another person gets in on the call (probably the manager). This location has been going down hill for awhile, but last nights business will be our last. We placed an online order because you CANNOT get this location on the phone. (someone eventually answers but it is a call center) When our order arrived it was wrong, but the ticket had our address and the order on the ticket was right. The delivery driver was very nice and understanding that some kind of technical issue obviously happened and that 10 breadsticks was not enough to feed our family we needed a pizza and were willing to pay any difference in price. He himself could not get his own store on the phone so he went back and said he would have the manager phone us. After 10 minutes I new no-one was calling us back. After about a half hour the driver did call back and said the manger informed him the address was right the ticket was right so it was not her problem. But its was her problem we have been loyal customers since we arrived in the area, even with the large down hill sliding standers. A curtesy call to a loyal frustrated customer regardless of out come could have gone a long way. Not to mention if someone does order only 10 cheesy breadsticks they should be fresh breadsticks not two completely different 5 piece orders that had been sitting in the warmer till someone orders them. So not only did we some- how get the wrong order but the order we got was inedible. I was going to go in an speak with the G.M. this morning when they open but I am still so upset that I am unsure I can be civil. At this point I am just done I never want to call, go in, or order online with this location ever again. There are a lot of pizza places near by. Try something local like 3 Brothers or stay with the chains and use Dominos. Just stay clear of this Pizza Hut it will only frustrate you with their pour service and mediocre food. read more

so I live outside of base and of course this is the closest pizza hut to my location. I can NEVER get through to the store when calling them. Its impossible. I try customer service and they tell me they cannot put my order through to the store on base so I have to call the base directly. Here is the thing! When I call the store directly or they transfer me, it either directs me right back to customer service or the line is not working. At this point I'm growing more and more hungry and more and more frustrated because I cannot speak to anyone who cares so I just cancel my order. It has happened at least 2 times. Point being if you put an order through, make sure its EXACTLY what you want and you don't need to make any changes because boy oh boy you will never get through to anyone in the store.
