Ordered two shrimp Poboys and a burger. While my Poboy actually tasted okay my daughter's had hair in it. So when she returned it and the cook said "that ain't no hair!" The person that took the order asked my daughter to point it out. Why would she lie about something like this? We didn't even leave the shop before she noticed the hair. At first she was going to ask them to remake it, but after the very poor customer support from the "cook" we just got a refund for that sandwich. Very poor actions on the "cooks" part and will never visit Bernice's because of this. Again I do not like to give negative reviews, but this was really needed just based on the "cooks" comment. I would like to add that my Poboy and the burger was tasty. I just had issues with the service "cook". UPDATE!!! Within three hours after eating my shrimp Poboy I was sick for almost a whole day and that was the only thing that I ate.

The body of the pie was just under an inch thick, maybe 3/4" thick. It was an EXTREME disappointment, considering how the town is supposed to be the ""Pie Capital of Louisiana". If I were you, don't bother getting the Bumbleberry pie, but do get the peach; it was outstanding! I wish I had the recipe! The flavor of the peaches came through, it was sweet and delicious, without being heavily sweetened with spices, overwhelming the peaches. Yummy!
