The owner was ( unless they've changed hands) a nice Christian man who went above and beyond to make you feel welcome when you dined in. And prices weren't too steep either, in my opinion here, you get what you pay for. I'd still prefer Larosas or Variety Pizza in Jackson, Ky. I miss the nostalgia of Mr.Gattis more than anything. That delicious smell of that pizza as it seeps thru the box and when you open that box, the smells just make your appetite run wild.

Good crust and if Cooke fresh they have a nice tasting cheese pizza. So when it comes to national chains I base off the location and service and not the food. This location ive been to a few times as I have a couple close friends who use to live in Shepherdsville and few that still do. I've found out with this location that they are on the slower side of delivery. Especially if a large order for say a pert or event (which is usually what I'm at when having this locations pizza). So best and quickest route is to pickup the pizza these ensuring you get your pizza timely and it being pretty fresh. Overall this papa John's isn't the worst one or the best location. But it is solid and about average. Nothing to scare me away from using this location in the future.

The few times I've eaten here they have done a good job of having pizza in stock. These chains pride themselves on "hot and ready" for $5. However not all of them are always hot or ready. However this location usually is. I personally enjoy there drop dish Detroit style better (costs more though) and they have some good breadsticks and cheesy bread sticks. Overall nice and large location that does a better job then the normal little Cesar's. Hard to miss but if you pull off the first Shepherdsville expressway exit and the first bog shopping center to the left you will see the store fronts large red brick setup.
