Bearnos is a very popular and tasty pizza chain that has locations spread throughout louisville Kentucky and it's surrounding cities. This particular location falls in the surrounding cities as it is in Shepherdsville Kentucky just off the expressway exit next to bullitt central high school. Me personally I love bearnos. It is my favorite local pizzeria. They have a thin crust style and are knows for there mama special which is loaded with all kinds of meat. Me personally I usually stick with an extra large cheese pizza and me and my family snacks on it for a few days. This particular location is unique in that it has a drive thru window for pickup and is one of the few bearnos that offers an pizza Buffett during lunch time. Overall like most bearnos they have great pizza. I've been to this location a few times as I got some family friends that live near here and we will grab some tasty bearnos on get togethers sometimes. read more

This place tried to kill us last night. We order the MAMA BEARNO'S pizza & cheese sticks. Tasted good we all ate it fine, But about 30 mins after eating it we all started blotting like a whale and then about 1 hour after that the bathrooms had a line. We about died. Food poisoning at its highest level. Just terrible. Do not recommend this place at all unless you want to commit suicide. read more

Very busy family restaurant with friendly staff. We started with cheese sticks which turned out to be like a small cheese pizza without sauce, but way better!! I usually feel like that when ordering pizza, we don't really need an appetizer, but these are definitely worth ordering. We shared the Mama Bearnos pizza and it was fantastic. Great crust and plenty of toppings. This was not a chain I was familiar with, but I will my eye out for these in the future. read more

After a day of wine tasting, I was getting pretty hungry and I remembered I passed Bearno's along the way. So after my tasting I googled their # and placed a pick up order. I was told the specials but I just wanted my usual Pepperoni and extra cheese. I was told it would be ready in about 20 minutes and I was actually less than 20 minutes away. I get there in about 15 minutes. This place has outdoor seating in the front and the inside is actually more open and not so in closed like the other locations. The sun actually hits the inside so it's not dark and dank. My order was actually ready before 20 minutes which was great. The staff was wonderful and welcoming. I was in and out pretty quick. This location also has a drive thru. I sat in the A/C of my car for the pizza to cool down so I ate one slice before hitting the road and having some dinner once I got home. I actually like this location very much beings it was my first visit. Good job guys. And as their slogan goes "Yeah it's that Good". read more

Worst service ever. We got our drinks and said we needed a minute to order. 10mn later we are still sitting and waiting. There was no one in the dining room but us. The manager Stephanie was too busy bullshitting with someone to come back. Then she walks off. My husband literally had to go back into the kitchen and she's sitting in the office and everyone else was standing back there talking. Her excuse was the phone was ringing and there were salads to make. Riiiiiight!!!!! So who's suppose to work the front and lobby? We won't ever be back with her smart attitude, comments, and excuses. read more

The Mama Bearnos, the service, the owner, the cleanliness of the facilities, are many reasons I enjoy Bearnos. The owner is highly involved in the community- donating time, services, and money to numerous charities throughout Bullitt County. The amount of care the owner puts in to ensuring that the food that goes out for delivery and dine in experience, supercedes expectations. I've never been served a bad pizza, salad, or sandwich. Would get pizza again from this store!!! We were camping just down the road at the KOA. I called and order their chicken bacon ranch pizza but with red onion and extra chesse. OMG. It was exceptional!! I asked about delivery and was told it would be 1.5 hours. Forgot that and I drove the 2 miles. It was ready just like they said it would be. Damn good pizza!!! read more

Most of us love pizza. We give it a lot of latitude because there is a lot of subjectivity in ways it can be made thus, a wide range of tastes. This was recommended by the hotel so I felt comfortable giving it a shot even though it's readings weren't all that high. Unfortunately I should have taken heed to the ratings peeps. I ordered delivery of a medium pizza and a side salad. For the pizza I asked for mushrooms and extra sauce. Note to everyone reading this, if you order a pizza from here be sure to add extra sauce. They don't charge anything for it because they don't put extra sauce on it, not on mine anyway. The salad was a good size and the vegetables were fresh. They took good notes not to add the ingredients I took off. The salad dressing was mediocre. I got the creamy Italian. The pizza was undercooked enough that if I was at the restaurant it would've been sent back for further dwelling. They did give a good amount of mushrooms and cheese. The taste was the difference maker. I hate to frame it this way but I've had frozen pizza that tasted better. The crust was "cardboard-ish". Lastly, by the time I place the order and the pizza arrived it was over an hour. It's a 10 minute drive. . read more

This is my favorite pizza. Bearnos is a local legend in Louisville. My dad used to get my brother and I this pizza every Friday when we were kids. I love everything about it. We usually get a large two topping pizza(pepperoni and sausage) and it runs about $17 with a coupon. So to me the only downfall is the price of the pizza. It is a tad expensive for pizza. However I do recommend it and we try to go at least once every couple months. 5 out of 5 and we will be back always. read more

I was hoping this would be our go to pizza place since we just moved to the area. Not the case. The pizza was burned the staff was rude. I had to wait a long time to get my pizza which was ready when I walked in because the cashier seemed to be having an issue with something. There was nothing about this place that makes me want to go back. We'll keep looking. read more

Bearno's pizza, in my opinion, used to be the best. Even before Covid they didn't seem to be as enthusiastic as they once were. The pizza's used to be loaded with toppings, but now there is hardly enough cheese on the pizza. Come on, Bearno's! We know you can come back strong! And with that perfect buffet! So disappointed. Disgusted more like it. I paid 48 BUCKS for Bearno's yesterday as I feel they are typically worth it UNLESS you use this location. I bought a large mama bearnos and bread sticks. Both in appearance were over cooked. Pizza was lightly burnt on top and I have never seen such few toppings on a bearnos pizza. They are known for their tall toppings. Crust was so hard and crunch. Bread Sticks were tasteless, dry and over cooked. Marinara was delish but that was it. Wish I had more even with the extra charge of .79 for extra sauces to smother the rest in so it wasn't a total waste. Won't be a repeat customer for that location. This is unlike any other Bearnos I have tried. Fern Creek's food quality is MUCH MUCH better. read more

We came here for pizza at 9:11pm. We were greeted by a young lady that asked how many and we said 5. She responded 5 really? She seated ua rolling her eyes and went into the kitchen. We winded up leaving because of the attitude. I did ask her about it and she said that she was just asking how many because their dining room closes at 9:30 pm. I came here for a charity event where 20% of the profits went to a fallen police officer. Big props to you Bearnos. The place was packed and I don't think they were expecting such a big crowd. I don't think I heard one person complaining though. I'll have to admit I wouldn't have came here had it not been for the fundraiser. I'm not the biggest fan of their pizza. From the crust to the sauce and toppings, I feel like they could use better quality ingredients. The grilled chicken salad was pretty good though. It had plenty of toppings that were fresh and the chicken didn't taste fake like other places I've had. The cheese sticks were average and were only made better by the dipping sauce. The service was great given the long wait times and they even comped us a couple of adult beverages. My high ratings is for their support of our community. Not many place step up and host such events and that gets points with me. read more

Solid pizza, worn, dated ambience. The pizza on the buffet did not look fresh so we ordered garlic cheesy bread that was tasty and a Large pizza with extra cheese, pepperoni and sausage. The crust tastes homemade and they were generous with the cheese. The biggest issue was that there was one waitress for the entire dining room. Would leave negative stars if it was an option. My family and I had planned to meet for a birthday celebration at this location and it was a huge mistake. The older women who we assume was the manager told us "it's not ok to just show up with that many people to any establishment" ....it was 18 people. And we were the only people at that establishment might I add, now I see why. She was hateful, rude, and clearly not interested in making money. Don't worry we won't be back and neither will our friends or anyone we know. From one business owner to another good luck staying in business with people like that running the show. read more

I would give Bearnos Pizza at this location 4.9 out of five stars. I had an excellent dining experience here. I called ahead and ordered a medium pizza with veggies only, for dine-in, made a five-minute phone call, then headed there. My pizza was ready when I arrived. The server was a very nice and courteous young lady who gave prompt and attentive service from the phone call to cash out. The pizza itself was delicious. The cheese was thick and flavorful, and the veggies tasted and appeared fresh and crisp. The diced peppers (much better than sliced) were bright green and crunchy--yum. I like a lot of crust, and I usually like it softer, but although this crust was on the thinner and crunchier side, it was still very good. My only qualm, and this is minor, is that I initially ordered pink lemonade, and it was pretty watery. The server promptly swapped it out for a different beverage (which was good quality) without incident. She checked to see how I was doing at appropriate times, offered me dessert, and handled my payment promptly. I would definitely dine here again. read more

Hands downs the best place for pizza and wings

Had a craving for some pizza and stopped in with a friend. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Our pizza came out quickly after ordering. The pizza here is Louisville Style, which I never heard of before visiting this restaurant. The pizza had a mountain of toppings and cheese on it. I'm glad we got the small because it was very filling. The only thing that was a bit of a turn down was the dough/crust. It reminded me of those totino's/ jeno's frozen pizzas. Which could be a good thing if you really like those. I'll admit, I ate a lot of totino's frozen pizzas before I bought a pizza stone. read more

Bearnos pizza has always been our favorite pizza. We called our order in on the way home and within 20 minutes was there to pick it up. It was borderline cold and when we got home and started eating, we couldn't believe how bland the pizza along with the crust tasted. The crust seemed thicker than what it usually is also. We placed a $40 order for delivery. When it came it was hot and looked good. The pizza crust was like rubber! it was terrible. We also ordered cinnamon sticks. When we opened the small box, they had stacked all of them on top of each other. They were so rubbery and dry we didn't even take one bite of them. We called and talked to the manager and he said we would have to bring it in and have it replaced. Well we had it delivered for a reason. He just tried to blow it off. Told us sorry he couldn't do anything else. Why would we want another bad pizza? We asked to talk to his boss, he said she's not there tonight. We asked for her name and when she would be in. Hot pizza with good cheese. Easy ordering with timely pickup. That's where the good stopped. Very little sauce that you couldn't taste. We paid extra for "thick crust". It was thin and crispy. The edge was a rolled to make a thick edge. The inside was nice and soft the outside was hard as a rock. We were staying at a nearby hotel. we had our pizza delivered at koa shepherdsville. it took almost 2 hours to get our pizza. on my 3rd time calling the pizza place to check on the pizza person that answered phone when they heard my name they didnt talk to me. pizza finally arrived. bread sticks tasted like cardboard. we were supposed to get 10 % with coupon from koa. when i called in the order i told them about the discount but it was not taken off our bill. pizza was not very good. will never order from them again. read more
