My cheeseburger arrived "unsquoze," glistening and glorious, layered with that signature tangy sauce, crisp pickles, and onions that somehow make everything sing. One bite and I was twelve years old again--only this time I got to share it with my own family. The new owners have kept every bit of what made Dovie's legendary. Same perfect burgers. Not as spicy as I would have liked or am used to but a nice addition to the meal. We also had dessert- cheesecake chimichanga. It was served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Not bad ending to the meal. The cheesecake filling was delicious but chimichanga outside required a knife to cut. We enjoyed our meal.
