When we were seated I asked if they had gluten free pasta - online it states they have gluten free options and I am a celiac, they looked at me like I was crazy before saying no. Just about every restaurant in this town has good gluten free pasta and options. Also, I speak Italian and English so communication isn't an issue, more so it was a problem with attitude. I would have gladly eaten something other than pasta, I'm sure they had plenty of delicious food and saw much of it online prior to choosing this place for dinner, but being that we felt so unwelcome in this restaurant we did something we rarely do and got up and left. Didn't even finish our drinks because we felt so uncomfortable being there. You can sit out front to look at the lake or in the back on the street and engage in some quality people watching. The menu is very rich with anything from cheese plates to great traditional pasta dishes (my dad was in love with the carbonara). I found plenty of gluten free options on the menu and had beef filet with mashed potatoes. Sounds simple but tasted amazing! They also have a very good wine list and a very good house wine! If you want traditional Italian cuisine in the middle of the old town then you can't go wrong with this place.

Finally, we found Tortellinandi, which was oddly empty - it might have been because the vibe was a little odd (but after so many other rejections we didn't care). They have a Tortellini Tasting menu for 19 Euro, which seemed appetizing, but we had our minds set on having brodo to warm us up. So we got an order of that along with Tortellini with Butter and Sage. Both were good! And the accompanying bread was tasty (and was even better sopping with butter and brodo)! However, we preferred the brodo we had the previous day at Antica Locanda Mincio (see my review), but my boyfriend preferred the Tortellini in Butter dish here. The wait staff was attentive. My biggest issue with this venue was that they played a popular radio station, so we had to listen to ads over and over again.
