Tiny pizza counter hidden in a small alley. The pizza took about 10min and came out very hot! The prices are very reasonable and they have a variety of drinks as well. A very easy choice for lunch or dinner. They have about 20+ different variations of pizza and they all cost 7:50€. You get a pizza and a drink you walk couple minutes to the beach and you eat sitting in front of the beach or the people playing volley ball, it's very nice. Cheap and filling enough for young travels and easy for families. They only take cash and have no seating options. Once you eat here you will start seeing everyone walking with one of their boxes. It took us some time to decide which pizza we wanted: there were so many creative toppings! We finally decided to order the Provencale, which was topped with fresh vegetables, and big enough to fill up three of us! I wish I had seen that you can do half/half orders if you want variety on one pizza. We also ordered the "onion wings" which are actually rings, but that was more of a miss. The guy was friendly and fast, handling everything by himself as locals walked up to pick up take-away orders. Stayed in Vieux Nice in September 2019. Pizza Pili was very close by, so before we went I knew I wanted to try it. Their pizza was so good. We are here four or five times during our week stay - it was that good! The staff were patient with my poor French but also spoke good English. Almost two years later we still miss Pizza Pili and talk about it once a week or so. Best advice - get a pizza and sit on the beach! You can't beat the price either. Overall an amazing experience and have many memories for years to come. We will be back! read more

Amazing, amazing pizza. Seriously some of the best I've ever had. Combine that with the price (€9 for a large pizza and two cokes) and you can understand why this was what we ate everyday after coming from the beach. Great spot in Old Nice with 3 tables in front of the place, however it seems most people (including us) would take their food to go and find their own place to enjoy. We saw those pizza boxes all over Old Nice! The guys that work there do have terrible attitudes but the value and quality was well worth it! read more

We ordered the Espagniole and the Provençal pizzas, both of which were so fresh, hand rolled and baked in front of us in the clay oven. Seating is limited and on the street. This is the best pizza in Nice. It's made fresh right in front of you, so you know you're getting the quality stuff. It's easily accessible from the trolley and within walking distance from the Promenade. You can grab by the slice or by the whole pizza. I don't have any pics but you can tell from the others posted, the pizza looks amazing. We grabbed two pizzas and then made the climb to Castle Hill to enjoy with some wine. Loved Pizza Pili! At 7 Euro for what can be described as a medium sized, thin crust pie, made fresh to order, this was a great find! Night one, two of us ordered the Italiene and Pili pizzas, and had the equivalent of a full pizza leftover because we didn't realize they would be that large given the price! Night two, we were craving Pili again so stopped by to get a Margherita pizza. Didn't regret a bit that we ate the only two dinners we had in Nice at this little gem. There are at least 30+ pies to choose from, so something for everyone. Highly recommend a stop to Pizza Pili for a meal or snack. Super easy, delicious, fast pizza. All of the pizzas are 7 euro togo and made to order. I went the other day and we probably only had to wait 6 minutes for our pizzas to be ready. There are only a couple of tables outside so we took our pizza boxes to the Paillon and ate there. All pizzas come with a few olives and oregano too! Probably the best pizza I have had in a long time. Great quality pizza for a fantastic price. Also so many options, I don't know i chose. I got the Pili Pizza and my friend got the Indienne, both were absolutely fantastic. The only thing was the long wait but man it was worth it, trust me. The man who was working was also very kind.
