I've Been going to this Pizza Shop for over 8 years, my family and I have never had a bad experience with staff nor has our food ever been bad. This place is a hidden gem in a town full of great restaurants. We personally love Pizza Pirate. The restaurant ambiance is very nice and friendly. It's not what it use to be. Customer service is horrible. You pay for extra cheese, it's like paying for no cheese. Hours state they close at 10:00pm. You call at 9:00 pm nobody ever answers. Definitely don't recommend. Waste of money. read more

Way back when I was a kid I had the luxury of having a Pizza Pirate in my hometown. Back then it was Pizza Pirate and TGIF complete with Full House, Family Matters, Step by Step, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. This pizza gives me such fond memories of my childhood and is way delicious too! Now I have to drive a city over (10 mins) to get that same great pizza and fries. It's worth the drive. By the time I get there it's already done or I have to wait a few minutes, but that's okay because they almost always have something cool on TV to watch. The pizza itself is made with honest to goodness toppings and cheesy perfection. I have yet to have a bad pizza from here and I probably will not either. It's locally owned and operated and it's very inexpensive too. I love it and so do my kiddos! read more

Alright. Fresno doesn't have any good pizza places THAT AREN'T CHAINS. BUT, Pizza Pirate is in the general area, and has some of the best pizza that I've ever had out here in the Central Valley. I love pizza, and this pizza is definitely in my heart. Their crust is crunchy but soft, and their toppings are very fresh. They let it sit a little longer in the oven than usual and the pizza reaches this fabulous combination of crunchy and soft. The pepperoni also reaches this state and it places me in a state of euphoria. The pizza doesn't have too much sauce, the cheese is cheesy enough and the pepperoni just compliments the pizza so well. It's a perfect balance of the flavors on a pizza. This places is phenomenal, however, it is in the very little town of Parlier. I wish Fresno could cook something up like this, but I don't think they could ever. Whenever I'm feeling pizza, I'm willing to drive the half hour drive out here to get this amazing pizza. The cherry on top is the wonderful owner that has been there making pizzas and serving to his community. I even heard of their involvement in the community where they bring students in to make their own pizzas. If you don't love a great establishment, with great food then don't even bother because you will disrupt the vibes. read more

Who puts ham and bacon on salads? I ordered a specific salad that had just chicken as the meat. They added about a pound of ham and bacon on it. As well as the driest grilled chicken I've ever had. Covid had nothing to do with this. read more

The fries and pizza are amazing. The management is great albeit sometimes the kids they have working for them will leave you on hold too long or get rude during peak times. Decent prices, good food, and a small business that is committed to supporting the local community. read more

Worst service I ever had!!!!! Tried ordering was left on hold for over 15min. Decided to stay on the line and drive over. Surprised to see a nearly empty place, except for all the staff. Immediately got in line, proceeded to show them I was still on hold. I was met with no apology, instead I got talked down to and told that's how it is. Wanna order or not. I finally order. Still attitude. Then they decide to start answering the phone lines. Infuriating. I decided to go outside to get some fresh air and wait. Closed the heavy rod iron door a little too hard, so they cancelled my order. After all that I went through the audacity of them was shocking. This place used to be a respectable staple in the community, younger gens have no respect for themselves or their jobs. No manager to be found, just a bunch of punk little drivers that wanted to fight me. So here I am fighting back the right way! They really don't care about your business, why even bother going. Honestly Pizza Pirate is a hit and miss. I use to eat it all the time when I was younger, I still order every now and than. I've had my good and bad times. I wish pizza pirate was more consistent with their pizza. It can be really good. I prefer to pick it up because delivery is too long than the pizza gets cold. Personally it's the best when it's right out of the oven. The fries are good but again it's a hit & miss. Pizza pirate is a childhood favorite and parlier staple. I rated it 3.5 but comes out 3 just to get it clear. Okay, I got the special 1-Large, 1-Medium pizzas with a bag of fries for 22.00 dollars, sounded fair. The pizza was not bad or was the best it was average, but WAY better than other joints. Fries were good too, serve those big slices not the wimpy tiny ones that everyone serves. But overall 3.5 stars in my book. I will try more pizza joints in the future to see which one in my area is the best and the hunt goes on for my 5-star restaurant to make permanent. Pizza pirate brings me so many childhood memories growing up Sunday was pizza day and we would head to a location in Selma called pizza pirate. Unfortunately it no longer exists so I was bummed about them closing it. I was aware of this location in parlier. Yeah!!! I was craving pizza Sunday, and decided to take the extra drive to go there. Called in to get my order they mentioned it would take 15 minutes for it to be ready. Got to the place and pizza was not ready. All right it's a Sunday it's busy. I completely understand I asked the guy who took my payment how long will it be ready. He said 5 minutes. 5 minutes passed it took approximately 15 minutes to get my pizza to me. They apologized I was like it's ok. Its going to be worth it once I get a slice of pizza the wait and drive. I get to my place, my family begins to get slices of pizza. They all are upset. The crust is hard, pizza is bland, its missing flavor. One of the family points out how inside is crust it's undercooked. Following day all that had that pizza kept burping the pizza, and a smell of baking soda. I have never had a horrible experience with any pizza. This was the worst pizza ever. I can't believe they have all these good reviews. Please don't go to this place. I wouldn't want you guys to have to go through what I went through. No no no! read more

This was my favorite spot in middle school. Went to visit a few years ago and that visit was memorable due to the fact of a rude cashier, I lost $1 in change to one of their coin machines that should've had an "Out of Order" sign. I know it's $1 and not much but the rudeness of the cashier when I complained about it was uncalled for, when I mentioned I lost a $1 to the machine he just said "We don't give Refunds" with a smile, like really? & didn't even attempt to ask questions or check on the machine. Do they purposely set people up to lose $ on the coin machines? I didn't get his name but he was a Hispanic gentle man who wore glasses and was balding. The food was great don't get me wrong, but the way he acted was uncalled for. I would never visit this place again. read more

It's unfortunate that this is the only pizza place that delivers in Parlier. We just waited 1.5 hrs for our order. We had to call 4 times just to pay, since there was an interference with their lines each time. To top it off, the order was delivered wrong. We are frequent customers, and the delivery men are always very friendly. The person who claims to be the manager, Esmeralda, could have offered some kind of compensation, but instead we had to ask about it. Said it would be 45 minutes and they called 20 minutes later and said they wouldn't deliver after all.
