Oh my gosh! The service was above and beyond! The environment was perfect for the moment. And the food was a million times better than I expected! The owner I give him 100%!!!! Him greeting us at the table and offering and recommending dishes a million thank you's! Then clam chowder my husband had or thought he had cus I think I ate it all, oh my gosh! Really'! It was our first time here and with it being just a 30min drive from where we live, we will definitely be dining here again! When we walked it was a simple yet home feel vibe. We were seated quickly on Friday evening at 7pm. The service was excellent and everyone was working together to be sure we were taken care of. Then our food came and it was even better. Fresh and delicious! We had the garlic bread appetizer, it was homemade to the perfect toast and flavor! I had the fettuccine Alfredo, it was creamy and light, not really heavy. We ended with tiramisu for dessert and it's by far the best I've had in our area! So grateful for a wonderful dinner! read more

Whatever Grandma says goes, right? My Grandma's friend told her that Valentino's Pizzeria was good. She requested we go there for dinner to check it out. I left underwhelmed but she said it was adequate. Being a family-owned business, you can feel it right when you enter. The restaurant is spacious, pleasantly decorated, and homey. Every staff member was polite, friendly, and respectful. The restaurant was busy and the staff seemed disoriented. Getting our order taken and food delivered took a while. Some of our family's entrees came out faster than others; it felt like we were waiting more rather than enjoying our meal. The restaurant serves mainly pizzas and pasta. The one great thing is the portion sizes for the price--plenty for leftovers which we took home. My Dad had the Mostaccioli it sounded great but was pretty basic in flavor. My Grandma and I shared the Tortellini with Pesto. The dish was swimming in pesto and a bit salty for my preference. My Grandma also ordered a Calzone which wasn't her favorite. I'd say skip the pasta as it's something that can be whipped up at home and go for something else. There aren't many restaurants in Reedley, so for the small town it is, it's one of the limited options for a meal. As someone visiting, I felt that everything fell short in terms of the food and being acknowledged. Find them off G Street with parking out front. read more

My guy Doc and I absolutely love Valentino's and we highly recommend! The quality of the food and service is great! Everyone is very nice and you can tell the owner has a genuine passion for what he's doing there and we definitely appreciate that and will continue to come back. There is a bit of a wait for the food but nothing too bad at all, that's because the food is fresh - and very reasonably priced - they feed you! So far, we have tried calzone a couple different ways, fettucine alfredo - once with chicken and once with shrimp, the meatballs, a beautiful Tuscan zuppa soup and dinner salad. All sooo delicious and fresh, homemade quality with fresh ingredients you can really taste. The meatballs are made with tri-tip and they're so flavorful and meaty, not full of breading etc which I can't stand. I usually avoid ordering meatballs anywhere but I definitely order them from Valentino's! We haven't tried their pizza yet, but soon! It definitely looks and smells really good The place is comfortable, very clean and inviting. After nine incredible years of dining out with my wife, I can confidently say that this restaurant offers the best service we've ever experienced! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and efficiency, and I was seated almost immediately. While researching the restaurant, I noticed a lack of recent food photos, but I completely forgot to snap one myself--the dishes arrived looking so mouthwatering that they vanished before I had a chance! I ordered a calzone customized to mirror "The Works" pizza, and it was a flavor explosion. My wife indulged in the tortellini pesto with steak, which she raved about throughout the meal. The service was truly exceptional, creating an inviting atmosphere that made our dining experience memorable. I can't imagine any other restaurant surpassing this level of care and attention. Wow, What an incredible meal in the quiet small town of Reedley. After a day of thrifting and pumpkin patch exploring we found this small family owned "Valentino's Italian Restaurant" located in the center of downtown. As soon as we walked in the door we had great expectations. We were greeted immediately by two very friendly waitresses who worked together to clear a table by the front window my wife requested. Within a minute our table was set with a new tablecloth, cloth napkins, silverware, & candle. After looking over the wine list we had a couple questions our waitress was unsure about so she asked the owner. Dan came over to our table and introduced himself then asked us a few questions about our price point and taste preferences. He guaranteed us we'd like his selection or we could try something else. He wasn't wrong, Dan picked us out a bottle of Ghost Pines Merlot from Napa. A very nice merlot with notes of dark berry fruit, chocolate, and vanilla with a smooth finish. It paired amazingly well with our meal. As for the meal... I hope you're hungry, the portions are HUGE and delicious. We started with bread & salad. The house-made bread was served with olive oil & balsamic vinegar. The antipasti salad was loaded with salami, pepperoni, black olives, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, pepperoncini, pickled carrots, cauliflower, mozzarella cheese & croutons. Dan also recommended the housemaid ranch dressing. Again his recommendation did not miss. It's hard to describe ranch dressing because in the end it's just ranch dressing but this was garlicky and savory, really the best ranch dressing I've ever had. For the entrées... Wow! My wife was served an extra large portion of Eggplant Parmesan, and I ordered a split plate of 1/2 lasagna and 1/2 beef ravioli. I believe both dishes were served using the same delicious red sauce. Food is delicious, plenty of options and service is outstanding. I was there for a birthday part but will definitely be going back. My only issue with them is the hours of business on a weekend. I was craving Valentinos tonight but they are only open until 8pm on a friday night. I guess I will have to take care of this craving another time. read more

My husband and I went to Valentino's for the first time under the new owners and had a great meal! It's not a huge menu but they do have the staples. My husband loved his chicken parm and the chicken in my dish was perfectly tender and juicy. I wouldn't get the grilled chicken entree again only because the pasta wasn't really in a sauce, it was more like olive oil with some chunks of sun-dried tomato. Our server was excellent and presented everything with a flourish. There is only beer and wine and I would have preferred it have a cocktail, but we felt everything was reasonably priced. We went a little extra with wine and appetizers and still got out for around $100. read more

This is a family owned Reedley business since 1963! Wow! It is still popular on Friday evenings. Luckily we only had a short wait to be seated. Old school vibe-they have a cute window seat table. Friendly service from the busy staff. We tried soup, salad, and one of their signature pizzas. I really enjoyed the minestrone soup, fresh and pepper-spicy in a great way. The pizza toppings were delicous and plentiful. Our pizza tasted great the next day after the microwave. Downtown Reedley is very nice, plenty of parking and a coffee shop and candy shop close by. read more

I love eating at Valentino's! Quality and freshness are prioritized here- as well as service!! I have Celiac disease and I have to eat gluten-free and they have catered so well to me every time. My friends and I had wanted to try out the pizza from Valentino's for awhile, so that's what we did. Valentino's has a very affordable pizza special that we took advantage of (ask about it in-house, but I believe it's something like two large, two-topping pizzas for roughly $35). All five of us ate VERY well with multiple slices per person. There were roughly 12 slices per pie. This would be a nice place to have a casual family pizza dinner in a relaxed environment. My favorite pizza of the two we ordered was the pepperoni and olive. I would revisit Valentino's just for that pizza alone. I was not a huge fan of the sausage and pepperoni pizza, but my friends enjoyed it, so perhaps it's just a matter of taste. The pizzas have a thin, crunchy crust (my favorite), that is just as good as the pizza itself. If you're a habitual crust-tosser like myself, you'll find that these crusts are worth the eat. The restaurant was clean and dimly lit in the evening (mood lighting). The wait time for food was good, and the owner is friendly, but the service from the waitress was "okay". She seemed kind of detached and uninterested, but she got our orders in and got everything out on time so I'm not losing any sleep over it. I'd come here for pizza again! It's nice to find a good pizza place that isn't obnoxiously loud and that has a full menu with other options for friends and family that might want to eat something else. Perhaps I'll explore the rest of the menu since Valentino's offers a full Italian menu. read more

Owner was very friendly. Their homemade ranch is very delicious. I ordered a margarita pizza and a half & half pepperoni on one side and Hawaiian on the other with their thicker crust. The margarita pizza was pretty good. I liked the crispy crust, and the flavor was fairly decent, I would get it again. The half-and-half pizza on the thick crust was horrible. Way too thick, and was not cooked all the way, so the dough was overwhelming. I had one slice and couldn't finish it. Seriously. It was bad. Do not get the thick crust. Stay with the thin. read more
