It was our first time here and with it being just a 30min drive from where we live, we will definitely be dining here again! When we walked it was a simple yet home feel vibe. We were seated quickly on Friday evening at 7pm. The service was excellent and everyone was working together to be sure we were taken care of. Then our food came and it was even better. Fresh and delicious! We had the garlic bread appetizer, it was homemade to the perfect toast and flavor! I had the fettuccine Alfredo, it was creamy and light, not really heavy. We ended with tiramisu for dessert and it's by far the best I've had in our area! So grateful for a wonderful dinner!

Absolutely delicious Italian food in the heart of Downtown Reedley. The owners and staff are so welcoming and the family environment is very enjoyable!

We had an amazing dinner tonight! The service was fantastic and the food was delicious! It's so great to have a place in Reedley to come and have a great meal and a great glass of wine! They carry Daou, Tobin James, Opolo, J Lohr and so many other great others.

    Eggplant and Wine!

Amazing night at Valentino's tonight! Pizza and eggplant parmigiana was delicious. Calzone's the size of the plate!! Service was on point. We got to meet the owners and amazing staff! The newer atmosphere and wine selection are exciting. We can't wait to come back!

Whatever Grandma says goes, right? My Grandma's friend told her that Valentino's Pizzeria was good. She requested we go there for dinner to check it out. I left underwhelmed but she said it was adequate. Being a family-owned business, you can feel it right when you enter. The restaurant is spacious, pleasantly decorated, and homey. Every staff member was polite, friendly, and respectful. The restaurant was busy and the staff seemed disoriented. Getting our order taken and food delivered took a while. Some of our family's entrees came out faster than others; it felt like we were waiting more rather than enjoying our meal. The restaurant serves mainly pizzas and pasta. The one great thing is the portion sizes for the price--plenty for leftovers which we took home. My Dad had the Mostaccioli it sounded great but was pretty basic in flavor. My Grandma and I shared the Tortellini with Pesto. The dish was swimming in pesto and a bit salty for my preference. My Grandma also ordered a Calzone which wasn't her favorite. I'd say skip the pasta as it's something that can be whipped up at home and go for something else. There aren't many restaurants in Reedley, so for the small town it is, it's one of the limited options for a meal. As someone visiting, I felt that everything fell short in terms of the food and being acknowledged. Find them off G Street with parking out front.

Ghost Pines Merlot from Napa Valley

Wow, What an incredible meal in the quiet small town of Reedley. After a day of thrifting and pumpkin patch exploring we found this small family owned "Valentino's Italian Restaurant" located in the center of downtown. As soon as we walked in the door we had great expectations. We were greeted immediately by two very friendly waitresses who worked together to clear a table by the front window my wife requested. Within a minute our table was set with a new tablecloth, cloth napkins, silverware, & candle. After looking over the wine list we had a couple questions our waitress was unsure about so she asked the owner. Dan came over to our table and introduced himself then asked us a few questions about our price point and taste preferences. He guaranteed us we'd like his selection or we could try something else. He wasn't wrong, Dan picked us out a bottle of Ghost Pines Merlot from Napa. A very nice merlot with notes of dark berry fruit, chocolate, and vanilla with a smooth finish. It paired amazingly well with our meal. As for the meal... I hope you're hungry, the portions are HUGE and delicious. We started with bread & salad. The house-made bread was served with olive oil & balsamic vinegar. The antipasti salad was loaded with salami, pepperoni, black olives, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, pepperoncini, pickled carrots, cauliflower, mozzarella cheese & croutons. Dan also recommended the housemaid ranch dressing. Again his recommendation did not miss. It's hard to describe ranch dressing because in the end it's just ranch dressing but this was garlicky and savory, really the best ranch dressing I've ever had. For the entrées... Wow! My wife was served an extra large portion of Eggplant Parmesan, and I ordered a split plate of 1/2 lasagna and 1/2 beef ravioli. I believe both dishes were served using the same delicious red sauce. Chefs Kiss! For dessert we highly recommend the spumoni ice cream. Mmm, mmm, mmh!

The owner's daughter greets you warmly, while the owner himself is singing, cooking, and putting so much love into every plate that comes out of the kitchen. You can genuinely feel how much he loves what he does. Located inside the Gallery in downtown Fresno, Valentino's feels like a little escape into an authentic Italian kitchen. We ordered two Alfredo dishes (one with chicken and one with shrimp). First, the portions are generous. We definitely had leftovers. The Alfredo sauce was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. What I really loved was the little bit of melted cheese throughout the sauce. It added another layer of flavor and texture without overpowering the creaminess or taking away from what makes a good Alfredo an Alfredo. The chicken was delicious, but the shrimp was the standout for me. The prawns were cooked perfectly; tender, juicy, and not overcooked. And then came the tiramisu... This was a seriously generous slice, and it ended up being the highlight of our lunch. If you're a coffee lover, you'll especially appreciate this one because the coffee flavor comes through stronger than in many tiramisus I've had. But it was beautifully balanced by what tasted like a creamy vanilla ice cream layer. I'm honestly not sure exactly how they make it, but the chilled texture was absolutely perfect. That tiramisu alone is worth coming back for! I'm honestly glad I finally gave Valentino's a try. Between the generous portions, delicious food, and the genuine passion you can see coming from the owner and his family, this is definitely going on my list of favorite local restaurants.

The upstairs feels like a classic restaurant, while the downstairs has a cool speakeasy vibe that makes the experience even more unique. We ordered an appetizer, pizza, pasta, and the pistachio cake, and every single dish was outstanding. The pizza had the perfect amount of cheese for that satisfying cheese pull. The pasta wasn't just one-dimensional. Everything was perfectly seasoned, tasted fresh, and the quality really stood out. The pistachio cake was the perfect ending to the meal. It had just the right amount of sweetness, allowing the distinct pistachio flavor to shine through, complemented by a subtle hint of coconut that made it even more delicious. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

Which I am…read morepersonally obsessed with, because nothing gives me a baseline level of panic quite like having to make awkward eye contact with a server every four minutes just to beg for a refill. So having a massive jar of soda already right in front of me? Huge win. Now, moving on to the slightly traumatizing part: they did not bring out bread to the table. Excuse me? I'm sorry, but if I am sitting down for Italian, table bread is not an optional courtesy--it is a fundamental human right. And it became an even bigger issue when my fettuccine arrived, because the portion size was... let's just say aggressively small for a dinner entree. I was expecting a meal, not a decorative sample. However... it was infuriatingly good. They make their own pasta fresh in-house, and the texture was honestly undeniable. My husband ordered the Margherita pizza, and he literally declared--with complete, uncharacteristic enthusiasm--that it was hands-down the best Margherita pizza he has ever gotten. So, massive points there. What was not a massive point, however, was the subterranean seating situation. We were escorted downstairs into the basement, which was pitch black. But more importantly: the stairs are completely unlit. I'm sorry, but they are actively asking to get sued. It is a litigious nightmare waiting to happen. Someone is going to take one wrong step in the dark, tumble down that staircase, and own the entire restaurant by next Tuesday. They are practically begging for a lawsuit. That being said... despite the pitch-black staircase of death and the tragic lack of dinner rolls, overall? I really liked it. The food completely won me over, and I would definitely go back. I will just be bringing a flashlight and my own emergency focaccia next time.
