    Small pepperoni pizza.

UDL Pizza is hands down the best pizza spot in Fresno! I actually discovered them when they generously donated pizzas to my kids' school for an event. After trying their food there, I decided to stop by the store; I've been a regular customer ever since. Everything is made fresh, the prices are incredibly affordable, and the quality is consistently amazing. While the pizza is excellent, my absolute favorite item on the menu is their wings. My family and I have made it a tradition to stop by every Saturday morning to pick up a pizza and wings before heading out to Millerton Lake or taking a drive to the coast. The only way I can describe their wings is that they remind me of the classic wings from the 90s; specifically the original WingStreet wings that Pizza Hut used to serve. What makes them special is that they are not drenched in sauce. Instead, they have an incredible spicy buffalo flavor that is perfectly seasoned and packed with taste without being messy. If you are a wing lover, these are an absolute must try. Easily a 10/10. Another huge plus is their location near Fresno State. Whether you are hungry, looking for a quick meal, or recovering from a night out, UDL Pizza has you covered. They are open early and stay open late, making them one of the most convenient food spots around. Most people know UDL as a liquor store, but for me, the food is the real attraction. Great pizza, incredible wings, friendly service, and unbeatable value. The fact that they support local schools and give back to the community makes me want to support them even more. Highly recommended!

Don't trust the low reviews on this place. good food and customer service and at a price you barely will find nowadays

The waiter was super attentive and efficient the entire evening. We went for dinner, so the restaurant was definitely dimly lit, which I think is the atmosphere they're going for. It was a little dark for our taste at first, but we were able to open the blinds. If you enjoy cozy, dim dinner ambiance, this is definitely your kind of place. The menu uses Italian names for many of the dishes, so I wasn't immediately sure what everything was, but once we figured it out, everything we ordered was delicious. The angel hair pasta was simple but absolutely perfect. We also had cheesecake for dessert, and it was fantastic. I also appreciated that they had a kid's menu, plus mini pizza options for kids. My five-year-old only made it through a couple slices because the portions were generous. Definitely come hungry, and don't be surprised if you leave with a doggy bag because the portions are big. Highly recommend!

Well she is amazing and just talking to her in this short time that I was there you can definitely hear her love for food and our community. What helps this pizza taste great is the style of their brick oven. It's the only way to have a really good pizza cooked. I had ordered or made my own style of pizza, and let me tell you right out of the gate that crust omg was so crispy, cooked perfectly and tasted just perfect. Their pizza sauce is home made and let me say hands down one of the best sauces I've had in a long time. I will be back to try more off the menu but I'm sure it will hit a home run for our community. The first time I…read morevisited, I was lucky enough to try the lasagna, which was rich, comforting, and clearly made with care. On my second visit, I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs--and it did not disappoint. The spaghetti was perfectly cooked, with a hearty, house-made sauce that tasted deeply authentic. The sauce had a beautiful balance of savory tomato flavor, herbs, and just the right amount of richness, as if it had been simmering all day. The meatballs were tender, well-seasoned, and full of flavor, not dry or overly dense, but exactly what you hope for in classic Italian comfort food. Every bite felt homemade and satisfying, the kind of meal that reminds you of a family kitchen rather than a restaurant. Valentino's proves that size isn't everything; the small space is remarkably warm and inviting. The relaxed, cozy atmosphere perfectly mirrors the menu, allowing for a meal that feels unhurried. With its genuine family-run charm, the restaurant feels wonderfully authentic and approachable. Beyond the food, the experience at Valentino's is what truly sets it apart. It's a father-and-daughter business, and their pride shows in everything they do. They are incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making you feel more like a guest in their home than just a customer. If you're looking for authentic Italian food made with heart and tradition in Fresno, Valentino's is a must-try. I'll absolutely be back again.

I used to love coming here as a kid I had every birthday here growing up, spaghetti was my favorite. Today just reminded me why I don't come here anymore. Last week when I came there was no hostess to greet me and I ended up walking out. I'd figured I give them one more shot and it didn't go well. Before that I told myself I wouldn't come back because tables were not attended to while I was here while servers walking back and fourth talking instead of cleaning tables. Today, As I walked in no hostess as usual 2 employees walked by did not say a word to me, no acknowledgment that they will be right with me. After 4 mins passed I was seated. Victoria our server did ok we received our appetizers but we're given no plates until after our salads came out. Mind you it was not busy it was very slow and she mentioned they had to clean plates. My fettuccine had no flavor broccoli was steamed and looked like they just threw 5 pieces on the side my salad was bland and the pesto was not the same. The chicken Marsala was dry. And the lobster and crab ravioli had no flavor. The only thing that was good was the spumoni ice cream.

This is our 3rd visit to Dicicco's on Shaw Ave Van Ness Avenues…read more Dicicco's is a family owned restaurant. It has a long and wonderful history here in the Fresno area. Each restaurant is owned by a family member of the original Dicicco's which was located on Belmont Ave. I have great memories of the little brick building. It's where I had my first Dicicco's pizza about 50 years ago! Every visit here has been a delicious experience. Each of our servers has not only provided excellent service but they've made our dining experience a fun one. Elena was our server this evening and she was so much fun! Oh, I almost forgot to tell you about the food! Haha well ... Tonight, my hubby had The Don. The Don is epic! It features Fettuccine Alfredo And Lasagna as part of a 3 main dish combo with your choice of one of their delicious chicken dishes. You have a choice of all the classics: Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Marsala, Chicken Panna, and even Chicken Cacciatore. Can you believe that?! Well, he chose the tried and true Chicken Parm. I was surprised because this has never been his favorite dish but is mine. His dinner was absolutely delicious! But how would I know? He loved it so much that he shared a good bite of each with me. The chicken was tender and cooked to perfection. The marinara was light and well... perfect. The Lasagna? You have to come try it. Just like Nonna's. Well, not My nonna because I'm not Italian, but you know what I mean! I decided to try something different and ordered the Old Blue Eyes. This dish features penne pasta with green onions, fresh spinach, and perfectly cooked chicken breast pieces gently tossed in a delicious pink sauce. Let's have some saucy conversation here. This Pink Sauce is no ordinary Pink Sauce. It has a depth of flavor that is so good and complex that well, you're just going to have to come and experience it for yourself! It's much more than just a marinara with a touch of Alfredo. This is a unique sauce that stands on its own! You really owe it to yourself to discover a Fresno gem that offers the taste and feel of a delicious family dinner in a bright and cheerful setting. We invite you to come and experience this Dicicco's! Their menu offers a variety of dishes not available at the others. Do you have vegetarian or vegan friends or family? We do and were they ever surprised to have more than one choice. Don't forget... You can add a soup or salad for a modest charge. Along with the salad they offer a choice of homemade Minestrone or Cream of Zucchini. Either are good choices but... If you're a Clam Chowder lover come in on a Friday when you can find it made fresh. Friday is also the only day that they do not serve Cream of Zucchini. If you have the chance to order the Cream of Zucchini do it! My husband is Very picky and if he liked it you're sure to love it! I absolutely enjoyed every delicious spoonful! It was light yet warm and comforting. A soup that is perfect for a chilly night like tonight. It's so good that it's worth going out to dinner just to have a bowl of it with some of their fresh, hot buttered bread. Yum!! (PS:#1 Elena deserves a raise. She was so much fun. If I had a restaurant I'd try to steal her! #2- Do not ever let go of the person who made that Cream of Zucchini soup because it's worthy of the Soup Nazi! If you're old enough, you'll know what I mean!) (Sorry, but I forgot to take pictures)
