Pizza had a deal where you could get 4 small 1 topping pizzas for $20, so my husband decided to take advantage of the deal. The first time we tried Pizza Pizza was when they opened up a shop in New Westminster. We loved their pizza and ordered it many times. Eventually a shop opened up closer to us, in Burnaby but we tried it twice and were quite disappointed with it. When my husband saw this deal for the 1 topping pizzas, he decided to try ordering from the shop in New Westminster that we use to always order from before the one in Burnaby had opened. Good call! It turns out, it's just that Burnaby location that's not up to par. The one we originally used to order from in New Westminster still makes excellent pizza. We'll only be ordering from that location from now on. Not going back to the Pizza Pizza in Burnaby ever again! Just ordered 2 extra large pizzas on Uber eats. The first order was an extra large donair pizza ($27) and an extra large sausage mushroom ($24). First, the sausage mushroom came with VERY little meat. Some slices had as little as one tiny piece of sausage on it. Secondly, the donair came with NO meat on it. With a little message on the box saying "sorry, out of donair meat.". Not only did I not receive a call to let me know, they didn't even try and compensate the lack of meat with extra meat on the sausage pizza OR even just extra toppings on the donair. Terrible, lazy service by the staff. I want my money back but unfortunately, Uber only refunded me the $4 for the missing meat. read more

Recently decided to give this place a try after seeing the offer for mini Uno card packs. For the price of what you'd normal pay for just a pizza at another place, they're throwing in 3 drinks and the aforementioned pack of Uno cards. Pretty good deal! Staff in store were nice and efficient too. Only thing is they seem to be kind of stingy with the cheese toppings. Tried both goat cheese and feta so far and you really don't get much at all. Would bump my rating up to a 5 if they could fix this. read more

Today my partner and I were in New Westminster, as my partner was helping set up the Royal City Wrestling show at the Recovery Day BC Festival. Hungry, we saw Pizza Pizza and went in for a quick slice. I'm not a pretentious pizza snob; I like what I like, and I like Pizza Pizza. Perhaps it was because I was starving, or perhaps it was nostalgia, but the pizza was damn good (I just had a basic slice of pepperoni pizza), and the employee was polite and friendly, so four stars. I'm also impressed that they have gluten free choices, and I'm curious about their cauliflower crust pizza. read more

Best pizza EVER. Soft crunchy chewy thick crust (you can choose thin, regular or thick) with loads of flavorful sauce and toppings. They're the only pizza place around that offers the best vegan cheese. Was super surprised that this place actually uses Violife brand. They also offer good plantbased meats as well if you want. I like the look of this place. For an ultra basic pizza-by-the-slice type of place the interior is quite chic, and the little patio is also nice, especially for the summer. That said, the pizza here is no better than the pizza at Mega Bite or Uncle Fatih's, and it costs more. It was $3 for a regular slice and $4 for a special slice - and the "special" slices honestly seemed no better than the regular slices. Also, there was no free dipping sauce like some of the other places provide. There was some Sriracha and some shakers, but no bottle of ranch or anything like that. Maybe their takeout pizzas are better? If I wanted takeout pizza, though, I'd hit up Panago, whose pizza I vastly prefer. It's really too bad this place's pizza-by-the-slice isn't better priced. If its pricing were in line with that of its competitors, I'd definitely be down for repeat visits, but as it is, I'd probably opt for any of the other places - even Fresh Slice. read more

We ordered Through doordash and tried to find a number for the 6th and 6th new west location, they only have a central number for head office Called that number and they were no help, the store does not have a direct number, we were told we have ti call doordash and then doordash has to call the store...really a pain in the ass. so I went in because I got a coupon in the mail. well when I got there the manager wouldn't honour it and told me it's wrong it's 24.99+ tax not 22.29+tax.. even after showing him he still wouldn't honour the deal. theres no way that this is acceptable for your managers to put right refuse to honour deals that are send out to everybody in my town. If you've been to Ontario (or to an extent to Alberta's Pizza 73), then you'll know what this is. It's a Pizza Pizza franchise that opened in New Westminister. It's similar to Pizza Hut, Domino's and the Little Ceasar's franchise - so it's not a unique place for gourmet pizza or anything like that. This is a new franchise, so it has a nice decor and the staff were super friendly. It's a pretty standard franchise, but for my wife, who is a celiac, it's a blessing in disguise. Pizza Pizza produces the best franchise Gluten-free pizza and gluten free options. My wife, who has a serve allergy, has never run into an issue with cross contamination in any of the Pizza Pizza/Pizza 73 chains, so we were disappointed to find neither was in BC (or at least the Metro Vancouver area). read more

I used to really like this pizza place. I had a large pizza delivered tonight and tipped well (more than 20%). I opened the pizza box and the pizza was obviously dropped! The pieces were a jumbled mess. I took a photo because I couldn't believe how bad the pizza looked! I ordered this pizza to serve to friends who were visiting. What an embarrassment! I ordered a small pepperoni pizza, no pepperoni, mushrooms, and extra cheese. When I received the pizza, it was cut awkwardly, and there was barely any cheese when i specified to add extra cheese. If that was what the extra cheese pizza was like, I'm not sure how you could call their regular pizza a pizza. Pizza was too thin, not a personal favourite of mine. Pizza Pizza is no better than little caesars, or your average pizza place, it's a disappointment. Overall, the pizza I ordered tasted strange and I couldn't finish more than half a pizza. I ordered jalapeno poppers as well, which is whats giving Pizza Pizza my two star. Although the jalapeno poppers to me were no more than average, I found it strange that they lined up the inside of the crust with tomatoes. This ruined the whole popper for me.
