Just six hours earlier I enjoyed a very good artisan GF pizza. My "Crispy Prosciutto" pie arrived at my table with mozzarella bocconcini, white sauce made from milk and cream, prosciutto and lemon dressed arugula. The crust was very thin with a slight chew, as their regular sourdough pies do. During the 35 minutes we were there, we listened to Rihanna over the speakers while four other pairs came to dine at this 14 seat take out spot. There were at least four delivery orders as well. It was hoppin' at 2:00pm in the afternoon! Tip: park for free on the street. We have a location near by and we always think " why have we not tried here sooner ??". We have ordered here a few times already abd have tried 4 kinds- crispy prosciutto , funghi, BBQ chicken and perfect storm. All so tasty on that sourdough base. I remember the first time I tried the crust and was literally mind blown that it could be so airy, fluffy and freaking delicious. I'm indifferent about normal bread loafs that are regular or sourdough but holy cow , sourdough pizza crust is something else ! My favorite has been the perfect storm which is as the name says, the perfect amount of saltiness, sweetness, texture and flavour. I usually dont like mushrooms unless the mushrooms have cooked out the moisture a lot and while this pie doesn't look very appealing it is so yummy too. My partner is very pleased thst BBQ chicken is a regularly listed flavour as sometimes you have make it yourself at other restaurants. I will say any of the pizzas even taste good cold/ next day - which I always try to test for pizzas and fried chicken because its a solid place if it tastes good cold !! The parking lot is very small as there is a sushi place and a subway as neighbour's but also because surprisingly it is a Tesla charging hub so many people are just there to charge their car. I want to say there is like 11 spots or so... and not much room to turn in to check for parking and to turn your car around, you'll need some good reverse skills :). I suggest parking across from the gas station or along Bainbridge on the same side as the restaurant. One small thing is that sometimes the pizza slices aren't cut evenly. Like significantly off. For example, this time for each pie( we ordered BBQ chicken and funghi again) there was 1-2 slices that are about the quarter of the pie in size! I am only showing the pizza sizes as the other photos are similar to what have been posted already. One other observation is that there are so many staff working at a time - any time I've picked up , there have been 5 people ? I appreciate a good system but also if there are that many people j expect more perfection - including the pizza slize sizes ! Possibly because of the number of staff, that drives the pricing up a bit as the pies are on the pricier size for a medium sized pizza. I do wish you could order larger sizes as it only comes in one size. In conclusion, even with the small things mentioned, I wouldn't dock any stars because the sourdough is just too worth it to be phased and I have always enjoyed a meal from this place :). read more

Rating based on ordering via ubereats with 40% promo code for delivery. These were sooo good! We got the banh mizza (limited time but looks like it pops back every once in a while) and the funghi. Both were unique, really tasty and didn't feel heavy as pizza sometimes does. Banh mizza - we had no idea what we were expecting, but we were intrigued. The toppings were done extremely well and really did have strong elements of banh mi taste while working perfectly with the sour dough crust. The meat was flavourful, the sauce had the right balance of fish sauce umami and the herbs made it refreshing. Must try if you see it on the menu! Funghi - full disclosure that I love mushrooms, however my friend who isn't a fan still didn't mind this pizza. They don't skimp on the toppings and everything worked very well together. As a meat eater, you don't really miss it on this one! My favourite of the two if I really had to choose! With the Ubereats promo, we thought the price was great for delivery, however, it is pretty expensive otherwise ($25+ each). Two pizzas is probably enough for 2 to 3 ppl depending how much you eat. First time checking out this place that we have heard about and passed by a few times. Busy Friday night. We got here at 5:30pm and we waited 30 mins for our pizza. I can see there were a lot of take out orders. Shortly after, everyone ordering had to wait 45 mins. Best to order in advance for pickup or if you plan to dine in. The place is clean and a lot of people working in small space. However, ventilation is not great as it smelled like smoke and my hair and clothes smell like smoke after waiting and eating at the restaurant. Parking is not great either. We ordered the Funghi and perfect storm. We enjoy both pizza. We recommend it and would reorder again. Love the garlic and herb dip. This month is the Bite of Burnaby event and you can order 2 pizza + 1 dip for $40. -Food was 4.5 stars -Ambience is 3 stars - great there were seating for eating in but the place is quite smokey and needed better ventilation. -Service is 3 stars - busy place with lots of order and everyone was working non stop. This is one of my go to pizza joints now. I love sourdough bread, and was curious about sourdough pizza so I had to check it out. The sourdough is crisp and has a good chew, but has that sourdough tang at the end of the bite. The crust is awesome. Normally I'm not huge on vegetarian pizzas, but Funghi with the the roasted mushroom, caramelized onions and lemon zest is so tasty and the flavours are perfectly balanced and has to be my favourite pizza from Wild Flour. I've also tried the Hot Mamma (it is spicy!), Chorizo, and the a perfect Storm. All were unique and tasty and I'll definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu. It's located in a quiet little strip mall with lots of parking. They are honestly a bit slow... called to preorder right when they opened and was told 25min, but ended up waiting close to 35-40min. Ok, so it looks like I've finally found my go to pizzeria in the Lower Mainland for now! Stumbled onto Wild Flour Pizza amongst other options when craving for a good pizza yesterday, and their stellar reviews on Yelp, Uber Eats and Google (~5 stars with 200+ ratings!) made this place stand out. The photos on their menu are drool-inducing, and we decided to go for two pizzas - Chorizo and Butter Paneer. Suffice it to say that the real thing was even better looking than the pictures plus the yummy fragrance wafting through the pizza boxes made them irresistible *dreamy sighs*. And each of the two pizzas were yummilicious in their own way, especially the Butter Paneer which the Desi me initially was reluctant to order lest I be disappointed by this juxtaposition of Italian and Indian cuisines and flavors. I have heard so much about this place through the grapevines of my foodie friends and they told me to come drop by for a visit and try their pizzas. I love a good sourdough, especially after having tons of loafs of bread at Fife. Funnily enough, the Chef used to work at Fife. He was trained at Maaemo, a 3 Michelin Star restaurant in Oslo, and coming back to Vancouver to share his knowledge of his culinary talents, is just a treat!! I ordered 2 pizzas to bring to a small party with my friends and I was sad I couldn't order the Bahn Mizza, which is their exclusive Bahn Mi on a pizza. But that was okay for me, I can always get it next time, but I still missed it after a couple weeks. That is okay with me. I ordered the Margherita and Blue Pear for the night and omg, the flavours of the pizza was just amazing. On top of that, I ordered a couple dips, and their Hot Honey is a WIN in my books. The Hot Honey Dip is just one of my favourites for a sauce. I want that on ALL of my other foods in the future. I need to get that recipe for myself. I really was not expecting the sourdough to be that prevelant in flavour as it hits my palettes in every way. A perfect tang as it mixes with the flavour of the basic Marghetrita of the tomatoes. The ratio of the tomato sauce with the cheese was spectacular. The coolest thing is that it is located in Burnaby, and it quite close to where I live. My favourite was the Hot Mamma, but ythe crowd favourite of the night was the Funghi. I would like to try all their pizzas in the near future! We ordered the Funghi pizza + Chirizo pizza + Truffle Mushroom Aioli. The texture of the crust has a nice light crisp and delicious chewiness that brings out a richer flavour than your regular pizza crust. I typically don't finish the the pizza crust, but this one I made sure I finished every single bite! And that truffle mushroom aioli is a must! I can literally just eat the crust with that aioli on its own! For pizza flavours I would recommend the funghi for sure.
