The various sizes for reference, look at two slices making up about half the pie!!

We have a location near by and we always think " why have we not tried here sooner ??". We have ordered here a few times already abd have tried 4 kinds- crispy prosciutto , funghi, BBQ chicken and perfect storm. All so tasty on that sourdough base. I remember the first time I tried the crust and was literally mind blown that it could be so airy, fluffy and freaking delicious. I'm indifferent about normal bread loafs that are regular or sourdough but holy cow , sourdough pizza crust is something else ! My favorite has been the perfect storm which is as the name says, the perfect amount of saltiness, sweetness, texture and flavour. I usually dont like mushrooms unless the mushrooms have cooked out the moisture a lot and while this pie doesn't look very appealing it is so yummy too. My partner is very pleased thst BBQ chicken is a regularly listed flavour as sometimes you have make it yourself at other restaurants. I will say any of the pizzas even taste good cold/ next day - which I always try to test for pizzas and fried chicken because its a solid place if it tastes good cold !! The parking lot is very small as there is a sushi place and a subway as neighbour's but also because surprisingly it is a Tesla charging hub so many people are just there to charge their car. I want to say there is like 11 spots or so... and not much room to turn in to check for parking and to turn your car around, you'll need some good reverse skills :). I suggest parking across from the gas station or along Bainbridge on the same side as the restaurant. One small thing is that sometimes the pizza slices aren't cut evenly. Like significantly off. For example, this time for each pie( we ordered BBQ chicken and funghi again) there was 1-2 slices that are about the quarter of the pie in size! I am only showing the pizza sizes as the other photos are similar to what have been posted already. One other observation is that there are so many staff working at a time - any time I've picked up , there have been 5 people ? I appreciate a good system but also if there are that many people j expect more perfection - including the pizza slize sizes ! Possibly because of the number of staff, that drives the pricing up a bit as the pies are on the pricier size for a medium sized pizza. I do wish you could order larger sizes as it only comes in one size. In conclusion, even with the small things mentioned, I wouldn't dock any stars because the sourdough is just too worth it to be phased and I have always enjoyed a meal from this place :).

Ordered takeout for a party. Pizza was really good! My favorite was the perfect storm. I also tried the margherita, funghi and crispy prosciutto. All of them were pretty nice and easy to share. On the smaller side for its price point but tasty. The hot honey and garlic and herb sauce were so good - highly recommend. Perfect on the pizza and for dipping the crust.

Our plans to visit another pizza spot tonight were foiled by insane wait times so we ordered takeout from here instead! Online ordering was super easy and everything was ready on time. My husband likes very simple pizzas but I sometimes like a more funky option so wild flour was great for that! My husband got a plain cheese pizza, I got a butter paneer pizza. Pricing was as expected! My pizza was really good! Flavorful but not really spicy, perfect amount of toppings without getting soggy. Would def recommend if you're in the Burnaby area.

Great Pizza! Particularly liked the Butter Paneer pizza. But the Margherita and Chorizo were both great too. Small spot for eating, but clean and nice. Very friendly staff.

    Vegan funghi pizza

I don't usually like vegan pizza. However, I must recommend this place because it was so good! I had a deal from a book I got from the planted expo. The service was okay, and there was no fuss. The place is clean, bright, nice and casual. Ideal for a date or take-out I had the vegan "funghi" pizza. It was so good that I had no trouble finishing it. I definitely want to come back to try other items. It is on the pricier side, but definitely good pizza! It is definitely worth it if you have the vegan deal book!

I had plant based deals coupon for Wild Flour Pizza so we decided to make use of it on Pi Day. We ordered a Vegan Margherita pizza and a Vegan Funghi pizza, along with a small container of Truffle Aioli dip. The pizzas were heavenly. Sooo delicious and Truffle dip was awesome too. Admittedly though, the pizzas were much smaller in size compared with the last time that we had come here. This was quite disappointing to see. Also, while the pizzas were delicious...there was no "cheese pull" with the Vegan cheese that they used. Still love the pizza at this place but wish they would use an ooey, gooey, stretchy Vegan cheese and again, very disappointed with how much smaller the pizzas have gotten.

Amazing pizza! Perfect char, light airy dough, great combinations for toppings and truffle dip. Owner is extremely nice as well!

My new favorite pizza place. I love sour dough bread in general but wow it works perfectly in pizza. I ordered a few pizzas but the Hot Momma is the stand out! The crust is chewy and goes so well with the cheese and spicy meats. I even ate it cold the next day which I'm not a fan of cold pizza.

April 11th, 2023 Experience: Paid a visit to my friend's sourdough pizza shop in the far outskirts of Burnaby and heartily enjoyed this "Blue Pear" sourdough pizza all to myself for my solo dinner. Masterfully thought out and handcrafted by Steven, Jan and their team, the "Blue Pear" consists of white sauce, mozzarella, roasted pears, gorgonzola piccante, caramelized onions, fresh arugula and thyme burnt honey. My other favorite is the Funghi and these are without a doubt, the ultimate crowd pleaser for parties or gatherings. Additionally, there are other unique flavors like Butter Paneer, or the limited time only Banh Mizza recently, and they also have plant based pizza available for those with dietary restrictions. I highkey recommend the trip out here and you'll wish you ordered several extras for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

    Banh mizza and funghi
    Lory P.

Rating based on ordering via ubereats with 40% promo code for delivery. These were sooo good! We got the banh mizza (limited time but looks like it pops back every once in a while) and the funghi. Both were unique, really tasty and didn't feel heavy as pizza sometimes does. Banh mizza - we had no idea what we were expecting, but we were intrigued. The toppings were done extremely well and really did have strong elements of banh mi taste while working perfectly with the sour dough crust. The meat was flavourful, the sauce had the right balance of fish sauce umami and the herbs made it refreshing. Must try if you see it on the menu! Funghi - full disclosure that I love mushrooms, however my friend who isn't a fan still didn't mind this pizza. They don't skimp on the toppings and everything worked very well together. As a meat eater, you don't really miss it on this one! My favourite of the two if I really had to choose! With the Ubereats promo, we thought the price was great for delivery, however, it is pretty expensive otherwise ($25+ each). Two pizzas is probably enough for 2 to 3 ppl depending how much you eat. Highly recommend!

This is one of my go to pizza joints now. I love sourdough bread, and was curious about sourdough pizza so I had to check it out. The sourdough is crisp and has a good chew, but has that sourdough tang at the end of the bite. The crust is awesome. Normally I'm not huge on vegetarian pizzas, but Funghi with the the roasted mushroom, caramelized onions and lemon zest is so tasty and the flavours are perfectly balanced and has to be my favourite pizza from Wild Flour. I've also tried the Hot Mamma (it is spicy!), Chorizo, and the a perfect Storm. All were unique and tasty and I'll definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu. It's located in a quiet little strip mall with lots of parking. They are honestly a bit slow... called to preorder right when they opened and was told 25min, but ended up waiting close to 35-40min. However the pizzas were delicious, so it's worth the wait!

I ordered through the phone and they get it done in 10 minutes to pick up. Excellent service. Parking was a little difficult though The base bread/sourdough is amazingly good. It would be best to eat it hot/fresh though. Butter paneer - i wish the paneer chunks are slightly smaller. The sauce is a little too sweet for my taste. 7.5/10 Funghi pizza - reallllllyyy good!! I loveeee this one. Generous mushrooms and the cheese isn't too overpowering. 9/10!

We ordered online which was simple enough. I think if you pay cash/debit in store , you get a free pop with each pizza. We got the meat lovers and chef's best pizzas and the website said it would take 30 mins to be made. It is a small turn in off Canada way into a Plaza with a few parking spots. You cannot turn back left onto Canada Way by the way. The inside had a dated look , kinda like diner vibes. Pickup was quick. Nobody dining in. First thing I noticed was the pizzas were very heavy in weight. For a 10" pizza I thought the price point was a but high at $23, it jumps up to around $34 for a 12"( medium). However, the pizza was almost like a deep dish pizza as there was a lot more dough than usual pizzas but a generous amount of toppings. Meat lovers was packed with meat but I just felt it was a good several bites before it started to feel too dense and greasy for me. The crust was crisp and cooked nicely. It reminded me of homemade pizza in the way that nothing really stood out to me. It was good , and filling, but just no wow factor for me. In conclusion though, I have many pieces for lunches for the week!

Both were absolutely scrumptious. The base was perfectly balanced with salt and softness. The chilli oil was delicious. A bit pricier though. Also, we were not told that chilli oil costs extra, just asked if we wanted it. Our server sat us at the large table because all of the others were full. There is one more waitress who appears to be the boss or manager in some sort. She was quite arrogant when she approached us and told us, "You're not allowed to use all of the seats because this is a community table." We were just settling in and were unaware that it was a community table. I suppose in the service profession, there are better ways to phrase some things than to swoop in and command guests. Despite the fact that the pizza was delicious, we may not want to return to dine in. Service really matters to us. Even if the ambience and food is good, if the service make us feel uncomfortable and offended, it leaves a sour taste in our mouth.

The ribs has a nice seasoning run on them but like most Greek chicken ( I found it was quite dry). The potato's were not heavily lemoned either. It really was just a roast potato. We also had a Baklava. This was over sweet & heavy with what I found similar to the taste of black licorice or ouzo. Personally not a fan. The restaurant wasn't even busy; maybe only 3 tables seated- yet we stood by the entrance for a good 5 minutes with staff clearly seeing us, but no one coming to greet us. When a waitress finally started walking over, she randomly stopped to take another table's order mid-way. Then another waitress spent about 2 minutes counting tables before finally seating us. Not a great first impression. For appetizers, we ordered the Toscana salad and meatballs. The salad was just okay, nothing memorable. The meatballs were a real letdown. They looked piping hot when they arrived, but were disappointingly lukewarm inside. Honestly, the focaccia that came with it was the best part of the dish, especially when dipped in the pomodoro sauce. Mains were a mixed bag. The caserecce e tartufo was actually good; pasta cooked al dente with a rich, creamy sauce. I'd suggest adding pancetta to cut through some of that richness. The tagliatelle al ragu, however, was absolutely disappointing. There was barely any sauce on the pasta and the dish was completely bland; no flavor whatsoever. We each had about one bite and couldn't bring ourselves to eat more. Would not recommend. The tiramisu for dessert was decent but not great. You could tell there was too much mascarpone and not enough ladyfingers to balance it out. Overall, this was a subpar visit that left us disappointed. Between the inattentive service and inconsistent food quality, I can't recommend Sopra Sotta when there are so many better Italian restaurants in the area to choose from.
