    Alfredo Pasta

Stumbled upon this place in search of Italian food in the area. Didn't realize it was actually a board game restaurant where you could play board games for free while you wait for/eat your food. We were in a slight rush so didn't play any of the board games but the collection seemed quite vast. The food itself was good! It wasn't amazing, but it was good and did the job. We got an Alfredo pasta w garlic bread and a Santorini pizza w added olives. The staff was really nice. Would definitely recommend checking out this place!

What a great little spot for families to get together! My husband, daughter and I decided to stop in for some pizza Tuesday night since it was close to dinner time. Ludica had shelves and shelves of board games for us to choose from. We ended up playing Connect Four and Battleship. Pizza was good and they allow you to order half and half. They have a small selection of beer, but the options were perfect for us. There's also a kid's menu that comes with a small pizza or spaghetti, milk or juice and ice cream. This will be great memories for us and a monthly tradition going forward.

Got the cheesy spinach and artichoke pizza with jalapeño's ($18.50). It was ok... the sauce tastes good, I liked the amount of artichokes and jalapeños however it wasn't as flavour as you'd expect it to be.

I live a block away and recently discovered that I can order online and get a pizza in 15 minutes. I've been ordering a lot anyway...so I'm glad today they served such a shit pizza to me. burnt on the bottom and edges, burnt bits of cheese on top. I ordered through DoorDash and got a message saying it was delayed...then suddenly it wasn't. I wish they had delayed it and made a fresh one instead of serving a bad pizza

I've been to their Chinatown location and I have to say the pizza here is much better! It felt like there were more toppings and the pizza base wasn't soggy. The Pesto pasta had a nice creamy sauce and the portion was pretty big. The staff are great and super helpful! We came on a Saturday night and it wasn't very busy so we basically stayed until they were closed!

First Impression... they are playing games - board games! So arrived without preconceptions, or prior knowledge, it's pizza, beer, bright lights, children (thank gawd-reasonably well behaved), tables of three; two people and a game! Staff? sincerely polite and truly friendly. Music? Nope ! Just the sound of scrabble letters and connect 4's. Space? Let's just say, you come for the fun and food. Food? Caprese salad looked like it was bulk made and over marinated, that aside was very tasteful. Pizza, served hot! Hot is always an excellent start! Very tasty- delicious and very well proportioned toppings. Price, average, you won't be offended, The hipsters yelling at the top of their lungs and self applauding their game moves ... that offends me! Restaurant ... not my thing - Food ....really good... hummm... best way to approach this .... Take Out NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: Remove to 10% tip option, if people want to leave 10% they should stay at home; try waiting tables- worth a lot more than that!

Dinner on a Friday night with some friends .. Food: delicious .. I ordered the spicy salami and ricotta pizza ( tasty but not spicy at all) Then shared a large Nutella pizza ( 6 slices ) with friends ... bad decision to share .. I could have eaten it all on my own .. yum ! Service: fast and friendly Ambience: it was quite noisy and it was difficult to hear each other talk .. great for a boisterous night of fun playing board games not so much a romantic date .. Anyway still need to come back to try all the different types of pizza

The vibe is inviting without trying too hard, with just the right balance of casual and classy. We tried the Rigatoni Panna E Prosciutto and the Tagliatelle Papalina -- both were absolutely fantastic. The rigatoni was rich and creamy without being heavy, and the prosciutto added just the right amount of savory depth. The tagliatelle had a silky texture and the sauce was beautifully balanced -- subtle, but packed with flavor. You can tell the pasta is fresh and made with care. Service was attentive and friendly throughout, never rushed, and the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there. The only thing I'd note is that the portion sizes were on the smaller side. That said, the quality and taste more than made up for it. Every bite was worth savoring. Highly recommend for date night or a cozy dinner with close friends. I'll definitely be back to try more from their menu.

It was such a nice experience the last time that we decided to go again. What a disappointment. We shared the same pasta we had the last time and it was still really good Zio Italiano. For entrees my husband had the pizza special of the day and it was disappointing. We did not care for the taste and the crust was soggy. My husband had roast duck the last time we were there, and it was so good that I decided on it for my entree. Our waitress said that it was served medium rare. Duck breast generally is served medium rare so I didn't have an issue with this. When it came to the table it wasn't just rare it was raw. I couldn't cut it with my knife and I sent it back to the kitchen. I had a caprese salad - very expensive at $19.00. It was good but I've had much better. A man, who I believe was probably the manager came to the table to check on us and apologized for the duck. We shared a creme brulee for dessert. With a bottle of one of the reasonably priced wines at $60.00 our meal with tip was almost $200.00. Definitely not worth the money. It was so different from our last experience. It's unlikely that we would return. I gave it 5* last time. What a difference. It was so much better last time and although the pricing is the same we felt that received value for the money last time.

However, we really enjoy the food and coziness of the room so we have continued to make Henry's one of our regular dining experiences. We were going to make reservations for later this month when I noticed a line on their website saying that a 20% gratuity had been added to the bill. I thought that maybe it was a line that had been added on because of New Year's Eve or at that the prices on the menu now reflected the 20% gratuity and no further tipping would be required. My husband sent an email to Henry's asking them to clarify what the policy was. We received a response from Jasmine "20% will be add on. It does not refer only to groups but also to each individual consumer". Sadly, we will not be going to Henry's anymore. The food is very good but the prices are already very high. We were at a Seasons in the Park last night. Their prices are less than Henry's. The setting is nicer, service was outstanding and food is very bit as good as Henry's.

We walked into the restaurant without any customers. A server seated us right away. Her service was great knowing that it was our first time to eat here and letting us know what was special and what we should try. We ordered mussels with white wine, tomatoes and herbs as appetizers and our main dishes were Penne Alfredo and Linguine Pescatora. Penne Alfredo was just a simple dish of penne with white creamy sauce and Parmesan cheese, but OMG! It was extraordinarily delicious! Chef Henry could cook this simple dish so well that I could 100% guarantee it is hard to find such a good simple dish in Greater Vancouver. Linguine Pescatora was full of seafood (shrimps, mussels, clams, scallops, and calamari) in a light spicy tomato sauce. The seafood was fresh (not frozen ones) and the texture of linguine was firm and chewy. Everything was irresistible. We would love to visit this restaurant and try other dishes in the near future. It was worth a trip to come all the way to Port Moody and eat the pasta here. (This pasta restaurant was originally located in Vancouver West.).

I ordered the lamb shoulder and I really liked that. My friend ordered a tasta with shrimp and he said it is around 3 stars. The shrimps that were used in the pasta were tiny but on the bright side at least they were generous in giving him more of it. Pasta dish size was pretty good. He did mention that the sauce wasn't very flavorful or somewhat diluted. So back to my lamb shoulder. The meat was tender. The dish came with a side of salad and bread. I got the Ceasar Salad and omg that was super tasty. I really how they had the salad dressing mixed with olive oil. It had a really nice strong taste or flavor of the olive oil. The bread was tasty as well. The sauce on the lamb shoulder was a bit strange. It was basically non greek gravy. The chef did come out and I noticed he was Asian (Nothing wrong with that). So I am guessing the dishes here is a fusion of... Italian or Greek food or Asian food? Anyways it was tasty. I am sure I will be back. There are plenty of street parking.
