There were some seating outside but it was only the one table for two people. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The only downfall was that they ran out of meat sauce so the lasagna was out of the question but they made up for it in the pizza flavours. The menu is pretty straightforward; they offer multiple types of pizza ranging from classic meat lovers to unique ones like smoked salmon or tandoori chicken. I ended up ordering the four cheese because I was in a cheesy mood. The pizza was amazing. The crust had a nice puff up but was not so crunch that it would cut the roof of your mouth. The sauce-to-dough ratio was perfect, and neither ingredient overpowered the other. The cheeses they used (Ricotta, Feta, Bocconcini and cream cheese) didn't clash with each other, and it just seemed to be a slice of cheesy goodness with every bite. The pizza was not greasy, so no mountain of napkins was needed. A must-try if your into pizza and like my nannu says in Sicilian "Veni e pigghiati 'u divertimentu" (Come and enjoy it already).

We probably made a mistake when ordering 2 large half and half pizzas as this turned out to be a very pricey pizza dinner (over $80!!) but that's not the restaurant's fault. We'll just be more mindful next time. The pizzas were good and I loved the freshness of the toppings. Unfortunately, I did not love their crust as it was too chewy for my liking. The chicken wings we got was pretty heavily breaded which is also not my favorite way to eat them. We may come back to try their more adventurous offerings.

Mark's Pizza is a small pizza place at a rather obscure intersection in an unassuming plaza. Don't…read morebe fooled by the simple location and the charming, home-drawn logo: the pizzas are unique, with the most flavorful tomato sauce and mozzarella, delightful pepperoni and an assortment of artisan quality toppings. Mark's turns out some of the most flavorful pizzas in Pickering and East Scarborough, and I've tried a lot of pizza! Each week, they have a different feature pizza, and the full size pizzas are similar to a New York style, with the thin, crisp bottom crust surrounded by a heftier, lightly charred edge crust. Full pizzas are ordered in advance on line, but they have Italian sandwiches and pizza slices to go (subject to availability). The slices have a thicker crust than the full pizzas, and look delicious. There is limited seating for eating in, and Mark's mainly does a take-out business. I went on line earlier today, and ordered a 6:00 pick-up. The online order system is efficient and user-friendly. We had a pepperoni pizza as well as this week's special, a meatball and pesto pizza. Both were excellent, and the tomato sauce really stood out. It was garlicy, herbaceous and delightfully savory; quite different from the bland, sweet tomato sauce served up by most of the large chains. The crust was flavorful, and lightly charred to perfection, giving it a slightly smoky flavor. As a crust snob, I was very pleased! The meatball and pesto pizza was really good, with flavorful, juicy mini-meatballs and delightfully garlic-forward pesto. The pesto, made from pumpkin seeds rather than the traditional pine nuts, was so good with bold garlic and basil flavours. The pepperoni pizza was superb, with the cup-and-char, New York style pepperoni. My whole family was delighted!! In short, the pizzas are remarkably flavourful, and their preparation shows time, care, and attention to quality ingredients, as well as a superior crust. It was worth the drive from Pickering, and with the efficiency of Hwy. 2, took only about 15 minutes. Parking is a bit tight, but there is frequent turnover of parking spots. Thanks to Chloe H. at the counter for friendly service with helpful recommendations for me to consider for future orders. And there will certainly be future orders from me!

Pretty good pizza spot in the east end…read more We got the Pepperoni and Mushroom and Truffle Cream and asked for the truffle cream on the side because we were going to reheat it later in the evening at home, but they ended up charging me for a net new side of truffle cream. The crust and toppings were good though they were a bit inconsistent--some parts of the crust bubbled high while other part was very deflated and flat, and they didn't sprinkle cheese evenly to the crust (see pics). We also got a slice of the ham, artichoke and Brie. Tasty, but much of the ham was burnt. Overall, the flavours are there but the execution could be improved.

Some of the negative reviews come from when the previous owner had possession and also different locations. When we entered for late night pizza, Yash, advised us he would make us fresh slices. He also advised us it is cheaper to buy a large pizza as opposed to four slices for the four of us. The customer service is amazing here ! Yash made sure to greet every customer and ensured they were taken care of. You should definitely give this pizza shop a try and don't judge it by the low reviews as they are not accurate.

Zero taste. Toppings: I ordered double cheese and you would hardly know that. It looked like the least amount of cheese I have seen on even a regular pizza. I had pineapple and ham on one - the ham too seemed to be MIA. However, there were a few more pieces of pineapple. One my second pizza I had pepperoni and onion. I think my onion topping joined the ham and was mostly MIA with two chunks of onion left on the entire pizza. The meal came with garlic bread. Tasteless and it was only saved with a side of pizza sauce. The wings were not bad but given the rest nothing was going to save this meal. So disappointing.

The toppings were packed with flavour, and every slice was delicious. The service was quick, so we didn't have to wait long for our food. The space is on the smaller side, so seating can be a bit limited, but we were still able to find a spot without any issues. The portions were generous too. We had a few slices left over to take home, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a really tasty pizza and a spot I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.

Nice crust with a good chew. Good amount of toppings. Really solid New York style pizza. Dave Portnoys pizza review went to their downtown location and gave it a 8.4 if you follow him. There was no parking on Avenue but I found some parking on the residential street just North of the restaurant. The inside is really nice with comfy seating. Not a ton of seating but I think they get a lot of takeout. Service was good but I did have to wait more than the 20 mins they said as they seemed to be dealing with online orders.
