2/5 stars isn't accurate ! This is the Pizza Depot located at Markham and Ellesmere with a recent owner, Yash, for just under a year. Some of the negative reviews come from when the previous owner had possession and also different locations. When we entered for late night pizza, Yash, advised us he would make us fresh slices. He also advised us it is cheaper to buy a large pizza as opposed to four slices for the four of us. The customer service is amazing here ! Yash made sure to greet every customer and ensured they were taken care of. You should definitely give this pizza shop a try and don't judge it by the low reviews as they are not accurate. read more

In my time I have had some awful pizza. This place ranks right there at the bottom of my list. Crust: the base of my pizza tasted like one of those frozen pizza you get in the grocery stores. The things was like eating cardboard. Zero taste. Toppings: I ordered double cheese and you would hardly know that. It looked like the least amount of cheese I have seen on even a regular pizza. I had pineapple and ham on one - the ham too seemed to be MIA. However, there were a few more pieces of pineapple. One my second pizza I had pepperoni and onion. I think my onion topping joined the ham and was mostly MIA with two chunks of onion left on the entire pizza. The meal came with garlic bread. Tasteless and it was only saved with a side of pizza sauce. The wings were not bad but given the rest nothing was going to save this meal. So disappointing. read more

Halal. I was really happy with the quality and taste of the pizza. We had the tandoori chicken one. ( green pepper, red onion, green bell pepper and tandoori chicken) The large was $22 which was a lil more expensive than the big names, so I was surprised by how much they were asking but whatever. Honestly, I'm not too impressed with this location. I called to place an order for pickup. I decided to go with the 2 large pizza 6 toppings combined. When I started listing the toppings, the employee taking my order stopped me and said I'd used up all my toppings. This was because they treat half toppings and full toppings at this location. He said he was willing to let is slide on one pizza but could not comply with letting me do half toppings for the 2nd pizza. I reluctantly decided to still go ahead with the pizza and to my surprise, it was more expensive than listed on the website. This deal at other Pizza Depot locations is $23.55 but at this location, it was $29. When I finally got home and tasted the pizza, I found it to be dry, lacking both sauce and cheese. Overall, I wasn't too impressed with this location, and I don't think I'll ever be back. read more

I ordered 2 extra large pizzas for pick up order and upon pickup, the pizza inside the box was a large size, I have ordered the pizzas from many places before and for those who orders regularly knows that the round pizza is supposed to touch the edges of the box and not 1" smaller from 2 ends. To justify the number of slices for a X- Large pizza, the slices were cut smaller than a size of an index finger. I understand there is a shrinkflation happening around everywhere but I would appreciate you charger charge extra if you have to but please make sure the size is right. i have ordered two pizza one veg and one non veg from financial drive location for my kids and family yesterday and both the pizza's have too much of salt that we barely eat them and have to throw them at last. It was an online order and when i tried calling them back nobody picked the call. I will never order pizza from here again. read more

Not a big fan of this specific location due to the fact that our pizza was more expensive than it was listed on the site. I understand if prices need to be adjusted due to these times of covid, but at least update your website if that is the case. It is even more frustrating because I have gotten Pizza Depot from the Ajax location and the difference between the two was about $6... which in my opinion is a very significant chunk of change. The quality wasn't the same from the Scarborough location, I would very much recommend the Ajax one over this one, it just wasn't up to par, and being charged more for pizza that is lacking flavour is very frustrating. read more

Scammed! Service was incredibly slow and the cashier was rude. She charged me $3.60 for 2 slices of pizza that was priced for $2.99 on the menu. It was supposed to come up to $3.35 including HST. Not sure if this is laughable or truly horrible. Either way, not edible. Wish there were negative stars: Negastars! I saw they had multiple signs for, "2 Slices for $2.99." The slices in the display case looked a decent size. I ordered two slices. What could go wrong? The counter lady takes my two slices, and puts them in the oven. So far so good. Good like a horror movie where everything looks frighteningly... normal. She takes them out of the oven, and cuts them in two. How kind of her! She comes to me and says, "$6.80." What??? The signs all clearly say in multicolour glory, "2 Slices for $2.99." I have two slices. I pay $2.99 right? She looks at me and says, "I cut them in half. You have 4 slices." I cut them in half. You have 4 slices. I guess I'm lucky she didn't cut them again, otherwise I'd be paying $10.20. If she went ninja with the knife and did multiple cuts, I might be paying some serious change. Unable to shake her from this strange delusion, I cancel 1 slice. I mean two slices. Or something. I take my slice (2?) and pay her $2.99 plus tax. That's $3.40 roughly, so I give her two toonies. If I cut them in half, I guess she would have had $8? She gives me 50 cents change. Think about it. They couldn't understand why I wasn't happy. I'm not even going to talk about the manager who pretended he wasn't the manager. If you want a good laugh, come here. Discuss math. Ponder marketing. Argue ethics. Don't spend money here though. Update: Customer service AKA "the online people" finally got back to us. They acknowledged their mistake, and said that they would give us samosas with our next order. No thanks! No samosas (that we originally paid for) until we give you more money!? Also, they chalked up the mistake to a computer glitch. No computer glitch can account for the poor customer service. How they could've handled it better: The lady behind the counter should've called/checked with a supervisor when we told them the order was wrong, instead of blaming the mistake on us. As a token of their mistake, they could've offered something that would entice us to return, instead of making us pay for another order, just to receive the samosas that we originally paid for. Essentially, we got nothing out of it except for a single "Sorry for your trouble". Put a timer on this business and go elsewhere. read more

Based off a great experience I've had with Pizza Depot in Ajax, I've decided to order from the Pizza Depot locally on Ellesmere Road. Sadly, the outcome was for the worse. The order came at a timely manner and all, but when it came to the pizza, it was nowhere as impressive as the one I've had before. They re pizza is good, well done and cheap. An extra large pepporoni with 2 sauces was 13 bucks. Service was soo slow, and then the guy tried to get me to sign my debt slip. He was also either texting or trying to figure out what an extra 60 cents would make my bill.......im hoping it was the second thing I thought he was doing, because I waited a few mins to do whatever he was doing. Ordered a pizza from Scarborough, ON location for delivery. I get a call 20 mins after placing an order that saying,'We don't have anyone to deliver the pizza today.' And asked if I could come pick it up. I couldn't. And I had already paid online. So the store said,'Call head office and they will help you.' And they hung up the call. No apologies, nothing. As if this wasn't enough, when I called head office, and just mentioned if there was a way to let the customers know if the location is not accepting any delivery orders. The rep was totally rude. And said that,' Head office would look into that. And get back to me'. And when I asked when should I be expecting their call, the rep said,'I don't know. And I do have other callers waiting in line. Came here for a wagjag deal and ordered the family feast. Had to print out the deal so was a bit of a hassle but got what I ordered. Pizza was made perfectly with the right amount of toppings. Usually I don't eat the crust but their crust was good. I would recommend going here for pizza as oppose to pizza pizza. Will come back again even if paid regular price. read more

I ordered the 20 wings, fries and 2 cans of soda combo. 10 of the wings we're flavoured hot honey garlic and the other 10 was barbecue dill. This meal was delivered by the way. To start off my rant the food took an hour to come, the wings and fries we're as soggy as cereal soaked in milk for a day, they tasted nothing like the flavour we chose, and it was undercooked. I actually fried them again on a pan hoping it would make the chicken taste better. Maybe i'm being biased since i didn't try their pizza yet. I live in Scarborough and I have ordered from Pizza Depot @ 2060 Ellesmere Road for almost 4 times now and I have come across rude and arrogant customer reps every single time. Trust me just like you are thinking how is that possible? I am thinking the same. Honestly, I love the quality of pizzas and the variations and the Indian touch you give to the pizzas but the customer service makes me think a million times before I order a pizza. Such incident happened 30 mins ago and I hung up the phone and thought of writing to the management of this unprofessional behaviour. 1st Incident Jun 22 2014 : I ordered a veggie pan pizza and I reckon it was the last order of the night. I am pure vegetarian since birth and I get chicken in my pizza. I tried calling the location when I ordered the pizza from but it was already closed, which is understood. I call next day to inform that I ordered a veggie pizza and I got chicken in it, the person on the phone did not want to accept that it was a mistake. I asked the person if you think I was lying and the reply was "How would I know if you are telling me the truth of lying?" As you might know a customer is the king of the market. If you don't treat them well, they go to your competitors. There are more than 10 other pizza stores I can order pizzas from. She told me "No matter what your reasoning is, there is no way we know if you are lying or not but we will give you another pizza but it won't be a pan pizza." This really made me angry and I told her I do not want a free pizza of yours but I will make sure I never order from this place again. 2nd Incident Sep 01 2014: I again forget what had happened before and now order again. Everything went well over the call, however I did not get the pizza as I wanted. I requested bbq sauce on the base mixed with the pizza sauce for which they charged me 70c extra which I didn't mind at all. I asked to put coriander on the pizza, I didn't that get that either.I thought not to call again coz people might think I have problems every time and I didn't call. 3rd Incident Sep 02 2014: My friend asks me to order a pizza for him so I call and come across this rudest lady I have ever talked to. I started placing my order and told them to mix the bbq sauce with the pizza sauce and I don't mind if you charge 70c extra. So I told her please make sure you mix the bbq sauce in the base with pizza sauce as I didn't get it on my yesterday's order. She said "It is impossible that you didn't get the bbq sauce, we make it the right way every single time. She also said, I had seen the lady mixing the pizza sauce with bbq sauce. However, maybe you might not know coz I saw it" I said, Mam I know the taste of BBQ how it tastes, I don't have to see it to believe it. I just said that I don't think there was BBQ sauce on the pizza yesterday and I dont want the same issue to be repeated again as we like the pizza with bbq sauce. I also told her, now that you are so sure that you don't make mistakes, I ordered something else on the pizza too which we didn't get and I asked her if she knew what was missing coz she was so sure that there was bbq sauce on my pizza. She replied, I don't know what was missing on the pizza. I said there was no coriander on the pizza and her reply was "That is because we didn't have coriander yesterday". I simply asked her, why didnt you tell me when I was placing the order and she had nothing to say. I told her, this is not the way you should talk to customers, I work in the food business too and I know how things work, I was just trying to explain what happened with me and I didn't want anything for it but just for you to make the pizza right this time. Rather than saying, I totally agree and I will make sure that the pizza is made right. She didn't want to even listen to the issue. I decided not to order the pizza and I also decided to tell this incident to as many people as I can as this is not the first time that has happened to me. The pizza was terrible! I ordered an extra large pizza for pickup with 4 toppings. Firstly, When I looked at the pizza at home, it was no bigger than a large. Also the cheese was broiled far too much. It was Burnt and crusty. Next, the toppings paled in comparison to the amount burnt cheese and crust. Finally, the slices were very poorly cut. I ordered one medium pizza with one topping and a chipotle dipping sauce. When I went to pick up the order, they forgot to give me my dipping sauce. I went off with the order and then when i was driving on the road, I realized they forgot to give me the dipping sauce inside the pizza box. I had to take a U Turn and go back to the pizza place. I entered and advised that they forgot to give me my dipping sauce. Then they gave me a pack of dipping sauce and i went off. As i went off with it and was reading the label, it was a creamy garlic dipping sauce. I hate creamy garlic sauce which is why I particularly asked for chipotle dipping sauce so i had to go back again and tell them to switch it for a chipotle sauce. With this experience, I conclude that their customer service is a bit jerky.
