Our family enjoys their food, which is fresh and I really like their chicken, as well as their strawberry salad (seasonal). What I wanted to highlight positively, though, is their restroom. Not only are clean and spacious, but the handicapped restroom, at least the women's, has a door that opens to the outside. If you have ever taken a wheelchair bound relative to the restroom, you know why that is a game changer. The door also has a small privacy strip on it that prevents unwanted views through the gap between the door and the wall. There are many more positives about this restaurant (friendly staff, uplifting music, kids eat free on Tuesdays etc), but I think this is important to highlight, too. read more

Pizza Ranch is a favorite place to go for a great meal. I am a senior so they have a great lunch discount on weekdays from 2-4 PM. They had my favorite strawberry salad today (seasonal). The chicken is excellent and the mashed potatoes and gravy. If you want they will bake your pizza of choice and give you a restaurant buzzer that alerts you when your pizza is done and you go up and take as many slices as you want before they put it on the buffet. They have great beverage choices that are included in your price and a few dessert choices and ice cream. I saw a few people make root beer floats with the self serve ice cream and root beer. I always finish with coffee and the fresh baked chocolate chip cookie slices. (They have excellent coffee). We will be back! read more

The chicken was literally perfect, I was blown away. Several of the pizzas were outstanding as well, and the kicker was the cactus bread dessert pizza, it was so good. The cooks at this location do their job well! The service on the other hand was not there, nobody was friendly and charging me for biscuits at a buffet is maybe the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Pizza Ranch has great biscuits and I was excited to have them. How does a brand new Pizza Ranch location no longer put the biscuits on the buffet but you can order them. Sooo first time here because we were told they had gluten free options. Ok once again, anyone who has IBS/Crohns and dietary restrictions stay away from here. I have restrictions but have learned how to manage and pick and choose my battles. I was made to feel very indifferent by the front cashier though which was not too cool. Trust me, if I could gorge on pizza and cookies and breaded chicken I totally would. But ... I can't. I ordered a gluten free pioneer pizza which was actually really good. I also ordered a garden salad. While the rest of my party grabbed their plates and their nice glasses I was handed a paper cup and told to wait 15 minutes for my salad and pizza. I eventually asked if I could grab my salad and the same girl appeared bothered and confused. Like... I just need my salad is that ok? A nice guy standing next to her piped up and said ' go grab her salad it should be ready ' she handed it to me and I then asked about the salad dressing. ' do I get it from the buffet?' I asked, she shrugs, ' I guess so'. I walked away and headed to the salad portion of the buffet when a nice lady stopped me to help me properly. I think young chica was new and immature. Everyone else was nice and smiled. Overall, it's a pizza buffet. It's loud, it has arcade games and there's tons of people in and out. If you do gluten free for sensitivity issues and IBS/Gastroparesis then go enjoy. Their GF pizza is pretty tasty. read more

Our whole family loves Pizza Ranch! Something for everyone and the food is always great. We've never been disappointed.

This is for the new Cambridge, MN location. We went here for a family members child's 1st birthday and the owner was so rude to us. They had a couple people who couldn't make it to the party so we went up to the front to get a refund for the two people who didn't come b/c they had to pay for everyone a head of time. The owner came up to give us the refund but then said "I should have charged you for every seat in that room and you've been in there for 3hrs." the family members got there a little early to set up decorations before everyone arrived which the owner wasn't happy about either. I told him they should have stipulated a time frame that we would get the room for and he said they would be doing that in the future just not right now. Well if it's a problem maybe you should do it now. They have an arcade. If you don't want people there for a few hrs, especially for a birthday party, then maybe don't have an arcade. After this back and forth he said he was going to give the refund but then reiterated how he should have charged us for every seat in the room and how we could have been more considerate. He left to go somewhere in the back and when he came back he acted like he wasn't going to give a refund saying he didn't know how many people we actually had in the room even though he told us he had been watching us on the camera that's in the room (creepy). I told him he could easily look back at the camera footage if he really wanted to, we were all sitting down multiple times throughout lunch. He finally gave us the refund for the two meals and told us if we weren't happy we didn't have to come back. This is the worst experience I've ever had with an owner of an establishment of any kind. He wasn't happy with them hanging up a birthday sign with scotch tape. SOCTCH TAPE, which wouldn't and didn't damage anything. They were supposed to have the whole party room but random people came in and sat down to eat so they put up the room divider and only ended up with half the room which was cramped with 10 adults and 4 kids. When they called to reserve the room they said they don't do reservations so they would just have to come in and hope the room was available but as we were leaving the owner put reserved on the signs for the rooms for a party at 3pm. We had a cardboard box gently resting on a chair and leaning on the wall (b/c you know there wasn't much space) and he rudely asked us to move the box off his wall acting like it had bricks in it and was going to cause damage. He also complained about the chairs being next to the wall. This man has obviously never worked in this industry and it shows. I will never go to this location ever again and will tell everyone I know about how terrible he was to us. It's such a bummer b/c all the employees were very nice and attentive. I'm sure he's just as rude to his workers. read more

No complaints about the food, but the layout is just plain stupid. Everything is all in one line. people bumping into each other. Dessert pizza is in the same line as the regular pizza. No one knows where to start to get to the dissert pizza. People are pissed because they think other people are cutting in line. I don't want to start at the beginning to get dessert which is almost half way down the line. Don't get me started where the chicken is at. I see this place as the future home of " line fistfights". We went to the new Pizza Ranch in Cambridge, MN and were totally disappointed. The food was all overcooked and dried out and barely lukewarm. We ordered a garlic cheese pizza when we arrived and never did receive it. We have gone to the Pizza Ranch in Elk River many times and have had excellent service and never been disappointed. First time going to a pizza ranch the pizza was good however the chicken was great decent salad bar usually when we are go to a food place where it's known for a specific item you don't think other items would be as good or better but I was really surprised by how great the chicken was very juicy awesome tasting skin as well the pizza was good like I said previous you can have the cooks make any specific pizza you would ever want to make and they will make it for you or you can go just for the all you can eat pizza and salad bar buffet the salad bar is exactly as you would expect from a salad bar they got anything from stuffed crust to desert pizzas the location I went to recently open last week so it was plenty busy before they opened their doors all in all pretty good experience the service was good putting how busy it was into consideration to write this review I had to make a yelp page for the Cambridge MN location which I didn't mind doing since I wanted to write a review anyhow will definitely go again if I get the chance. read more
