I will not be back. I've had multiple bad experiences but tonight was the worst. First off the buffet was almost bare at 6pm on a Saturday. Most of the tables were dirty. We sat at one and asked for someone to clean it only to be ignored. Then when we asked someone named Jenn, she copped an attitude and said "well you could have asked before you sat down" ummm no fyi I had open abdominal surgery less than 2 weeks ago and didn't feel like standing with 35+ staples in my abdomen. She begrudgingly took the plates and left the trash on the table. The food was not fresh that they put out....(dried out chicken) and definitely not worth $48 for 2 adults, an 8 year old, and a tip. Not sure what I tipped for nobody took any plates away while we were eating. Staff would walk by look at the plates and not touch them or even ask. When an employee did come to bus I tipped them cash since they were the only one who seemed to care. Small children (younger than my 8 year old) were playing in the buffet and with the ice cream machine. Next time I'll go to an actual restaurant and get fresh food made to order. read more

Drinks are Pepsi products ..quess they switched 2 months ago. A chain out of Iowa, first franchise in TN. My friend's son who is 16 loves Pizza Ranch & anytime he comes to do some work with me at my warehouse he asks me to take him there for lunch. We have been 5 times in the past couple of months & I've got to admit it slaps. The pizza buffet at Pizza Ranch makes me think back on the good old days when I was a kid in a small town south of Nashville where we had Pizza Inn, Pizza Hut & Mr Gattis all offering pizza buffets over the years. Sadly they all closed & that fun experience of a pizza buffet had largely eluded me until recently. Not anymore though! The pizza offerings here are honestly pretty damn good. Some of my favorites are the big bopper (cream cheese base instead of red sauce), stuffed crust buffalo chicken, & the amazingly delicious blueberry cobbler pizza. Their other offerings like fried chicken & a random assortment of sides on the buffet are not worth even looking at imho. You come here to eat too much pizza & that is what it's all about. The quality is better than delivery & for what you pay (10.99 pp) it's on par with delivery prices. They also have a pretty good rewards program.. The place is large & always kept clean. The staff here are always working hard & I hope the ownership/management is proud because a lot of chain restaurants fail in that regard. I came here one day when a school bus full of kids was walking out & had depleted the buffet but within 5 minutes they had it all restocked hot & ready. The best part about Pizza Ranch is you can ask for any pizza you want & they will make it fresh & put it out. You don't have to worry about missing out on it either because they give you a buzzer and when the pizza is ready you come up and they will give you however many slices you want before they put it out for everyone else. I think that's pretty rad. Let me be clear, you're not getting artisan style high quality ingredients pizza here, but the pizza is good, the service is very good, and the value is exceptional. We've always loved Pizza Ranch, but a couple of recent changes have been really disappointing. First, they switched from Coke to Pepsi products. That may come down to personal preference, but the Pepsi options they're offering just aren't very good. More importantly, they appear to have removed the disposable gloves that used to be available at the buffet for guests who are more germ-conscious. They haven't been there the last few times we've visited. That change is especially frustrating and is the main reason for the two-star rating. Mac & cheese pie was the best I ever had by far. Deserts were apple, strussel & awesome blueberry pizza pies. Best was the chocolate chip cookie pie that was perfect & crunchy. Went there Saturday, Jan 17th, 2026 w/my sister and her fiance. We paid $17.32 each for the worst buffet ever. The only thing worth eating was the ice cream and the blueberry dessert. The pizza was limited, no pasta or hot food and the salad fixings were old and was not fresh. There was no one around to stock the buffet or to ask for refill items. Never will go back! I believe this location has been here for a year or maybe two. So, I decided to stop for lunch for some fried chicken, pizza, and salad. The staff was friendly and had lots of selection at the buffet. I had no issues with anything. The pizza was fresh, the chicken wasn't overly greasy, and their salad bar was perfect. Their health department score was 100, which is nice because I didn't have to be concerned about food poisoning. Furthermore, their restrooms were spotless, and like I've always said, if an establishment's restrooms are nasty or trashed and they're in public view, what makes us believe their kitchen area is any different? I generally am not a buffet fan but Pizza ranch is not the norm! We expected this place to just be a pizza buffet but we were wrong! I've never seen a "pizza" buffet with fried chicken and mashed potatoes! Everything about this place is different than your average pizza place or buffet! The buffet line is super clean! All of the food is hot & fresh! Fresh food is rotated in & food that has been sitting awhile is rotated out! Cashier at the front was very nice & helpful! He gave us the overview of what to expect! We had never heard of this place before and was surprised to find out this is a chain restaurant and this is the only location in TN so far as of Dec 2022. Who knew! A very solid place, like ceces pizza buffet. We paid roughly $35 for 2 ppl, this include all of the pizzas including dessert pizza, ice creams, fountain drinks, coffee, a full salad bar with pasta! Oh, also their juicy fried chicken was my favorite! Honestly better than a lot of chicken places in Nashville!! However, I did not like their Nashville hot chicken flavor, it was too sweet for me. Restaurant management is friendly and helpful; I try to stay away from wheat, and I was able to order a gluten sensitive pizza for $2 above the buffet price, awesome! They call it gluten sensitive because they can't guarantee there won't be cross contamination. The manager told me I could have anything else on the buffet that I wanted along with it. Any salad bar that has pickled beets is a salad bar in my book and they didn't disappoint. Lettuce, black olives, shredded cheese, tomatoes, pudding, etc all was fresh and tasty. Not bad. Pleasing decor and clean. The best part for me was the fried chicken. Pizza has potential, but too soggy. I like my pizza crust more on the crispy side. If not crispy, at least firm. These pieces were so soggy that when you pick them up, they collapse. Keep it in the oven a couple more minutes and I'll be a big fan. The taste was good. In addition to the chicken, the next best thing for me was dessert. They had a warm chocolate chip cookie that just melts in your mouth. We'll be back. Not sure if I like this particular layout but I do like the victuals. there's usually about eight or ten pizzas plus cactus bread plus a chocolatey chip cookie thing on the buffet at any time and if you don't see what you want ask for it and they'll get right on it (and you get first dibs on it when it comes out!) so you can navigate most dietary restrictions and odd cravings. most. hot bar includes mashed taters, gravy, pasta, plus chickens in at least two styles. had a piece of the regular and nashville-hot this time and was quite pleased. is it chicken for the ages? not so much. but is it always good and hot and fried and chicken? absolutely! and that is why it is the country's best fried chicken in the world ever. yeah, fried chickens... :-) salad bar is pretty standard fare where you can start from scratch and build your bowl or you go with the some assembly required (greens come with an assortment of fixings like tomatoe, cheese, and craisins already installed) to satisfy most diners. Great food and great service. This is one of the new places that we take our extended family to when they come into town to visit now. We drive 45 minutes to eat at Pizza Ranch and our kids love all of the options that they have to choose from. We love that they offer a Kids Eat Free Tuesday option as well as Senior and Military discounts every day. As for our favorites, I tried the Bacon Cheeseburger pizza for the first time and it was definitely worth ordering again next time. I've also enjoyed the Nashville Hot Chicken pizza and my wife always orders the Macaroni and Cheese pizza. The salad bar options at Pizza Ranch are all fresh and taste great! With regards to the hot food bar we really like the house kettle cooked potato chips, potato wedges and mashed potatoes. Lastly, you can't forget about dessert. We love the chocolate chip cookie pie but our all time favorite is definitely the blueberry pie. We look forward to coming back soon and continuing to rack up our rewards points. I was surprised! The pizza is actually pretty good. I set my bar low and I was very pleasantly surprised. The crust is buttery, the sauce is good, and the mushrooms aren't canned. They have a full salad bar and desert pizzas and soft serve. The place is clean and the tables don't feel packed at all. The staff are all very nice and incredibly attentive. My husband heard there was a Pizza Ranch in Hendersonville, so we decided to make a special trip on Labor Day. We used to frequent Pizza Ranch about a decade ago when we lived in Nebraska. Our family of four walked in about 15 minutes after they opened. My first impression was how clean it was! Pleasantly surprised for a buffet restaurant. Prices were great as well. Our 2 year old was free, our 6 year old was $6 (pay $1 per year of age up to $12), and two adults were $13.99. There was a wide variety of seating available, from small and large tables, and some booths. The Buffett was well stocked, with all the food fresh and hot. I had chicken Alfredo pizza which tasted great. I could've eaten a whole plate of the potato wedges! They were perfectly crispy and seasoned. The restaurant started getting crowded around noon, so if you want to avoid a lunch rush, go right when they open. We were in and out in about 30 minutes.
