You know it's great to come here! I love it Al flavorful and great food options i love to go every so often! The service is decent most of the time the floors are dirty or the table are dirty. Another thing is they have GREAT and TASTY pop/soda! When i entered it was packed but died down quick. I love the room temperature it's nice and cooling and if you als for a custom pizza they make it and put it out for everyone + you to take! Atmosphere is very family friendly! When I heard we are going to the Pizza Ranch, I really couldn't help myself but dress up for the occasion! I got on my plaid button down shirt, black vest, black cowboy hat, my big ol cowboy belt buckle with a stallion on the buckle, and snazzy bolo tie. What do you mean it's not that kind of ranch? The best part of this was my in-laws were joining us for lunch. When you walk in you're immediately greeted by western decor and the smell of fresh baked pizza pie. The lighting gives off a warm casual touch. You could say I was the only one to remember to dress for this outfit. I didn't mind though, with the country music playing up ahead I was happy as could be. There wasn't a long line to get inside and the pizza looked very fresh. Our kids loved the variety of pizza along with the all you can eat salad bar, and desserts. I have to say the blueberry dessert pie with the brown sugar crumble on top is absolutely delicious, but don't take my word for it, come on down and try it for yourself. Not only does this place have an all you can eat pizza buffet with a great country ambience, they have an arcade!! Yeehaw!!! We have a blast, we got tickets and prizes. We have one coming to Duluth so we made a weekend trip to check this place out in advance for the one coming to our town. The food was ok...Salad bar was tasty but its salad....but they had all the staples. The pizza's were fresh and they had many choices. The desert pizza's were pretty yummy. The negatives were everything else...the staff was uninterested in working, many dirty tables and the floor was filthy! One waitress was just walking around "looking busy" but not DOING anything! The "manager" was nice and she was running around doing everything! The floors like I said was nasty, the window at our table was filthy, the tables were very dirty. Glad we are getting one here as I ama pizza holic, but I hope the Duluth owners are not the ones that own the one in Hibbing, MN. read more

My kids love love love this place. It's nice because it has a little variety. The fried chicken is delicious and the salad bar is good. We really enjoy the pizza choices and the dessert pizzas as well. It's a win win every time we eat there. Update!! They finish replenishing the buffet at 2:00 until 5:00. We walked in at 1:50, no one said a thing to us about it. When we noticed half the buffet was empty, no pudding, chicken, pudding, ranch, sauce, desert pizza etc, we asked and that's when we were notified. I've heard mixed things about this place. Took my 2 year old here and was delighted to find under or over a certain age it's only like $1 per year old... yeah! I always worry I will be charged full price for him to eat 2 noodles. They do have milk, but you have to ask. Pizzas were plentiful with many kinds available. Pizza Ranch is usually a place we like to go with our young children, lots to choose from at a decent price. Today, when we walked in there was hardly any clear tables... A few scattered here and there but many of the open tables large enough for a family of 5 were dirty. We waited a half hour for the pizza bar to be replenished and when it was it was with 2 pizzas and the salad bar was practically empty and never refilled while we were there... We waited about the same time before there were any forks on the buffets. I understand going through a rush but I don't think that was the case here. read more

Very disappointed in this place lately. We've been coming here often for 3 years and the quality of food has dropped considerably. The chicken has been dry, the breasts have been undercooked and raw inside. They never put out enough legs. The last two times we were there we had to request legs from the staff. I don't know if they have changed their chicken supplier but lately the meat close to the bones of the legs have been dark or black and the bones have been black. We went here after they reopened with I assume new ownership. It was horrible. The pizza wasn't great like it used to be but there was also next to nothing on the buffet. I understand being busy but this is a buffet. Each time my kids went to the buffet to get food they would return with nothing. Thank goodness we had special ordered a pizza. The pizza is *usually* good. I've noticed, however, when we order from home our pizza has been screwed up more than once. We enjoy the buffalo chicken pizza but have had it come to our home more than once with hardly to no hot sauce or ranch sauce on it. Once the crust was so full of air bubbles you could hardly pick up a slice. This place is a place that I don't eat often as I'm allergic to their cheese they use. However, the owner is a stand up guy who does a lot of local charity work and allows people to fundraise for events by doing a tip night. The tips and a percent of that night's sales goes to that event. Even though I steer clear of most of the food, the Buffalo Chicken Pizza is a solid pizza. (Even if I get sick from it, it's worth it once or twice a year. No fault of the staff but rather my own body) Highly recommend the cactus bread and best mashed potatoes around. My family has had varying experiences with this Pizza Ranch. Sometimes it's great with no complaints and sometimes the pizza lacks sauce or the crust is too bubbly and dries out. Several times we have gone for the buffet and there has been 2 options and both are mostly gone and are both specialty types the kids won't eat. With it costing over $40 for our family of 4 eating, the buffet should be well stocked. Staff is always friendly so that is why I gave 3 stars. read more

Went to eat there on July 13 at about 7:30 and payed for the buffet and the place was a mess and employes sitting eating and the pizza was cold and old cuz the turned off the heater and no dessert pizza we payed full price for three of us to eat and eat a salad and maybe one pizza and that was three people.
