Pretty good pizza at a very good price. Salad was very good, it's a make your own type of deal and we got ice burg lettuce with chicken, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, onion, carrots, and balsamic vinaigrette. The salads are very large -- we have a family of four and we ate it as a side salad and it was just about the right size, maybe on the big size. I speak a little french and they worked well with my franglais, even my dad who doesn't speak any French was able to order without much of a problem. Got a different shape of pasta than I ordered, not a big deal though. They didn't seem to know they had different shapes of pasta on the menu, so expect penne! Also, a longer wait than was expected but still relatively quick. Overall, good experience!

Part of the choices of pizza in this restaurant.

This is a small restaurant that mainly sells to the street, but that has a few places to sit as well. The pizzas are sold by the piece. The pizza is really good quality, and hand-made by real Italians -- as is the Tiramisu, for that matter. There is a wide range of ca. 10 choices of pizza, and these are not the usual pre-defined types (Margherita, Quattro Staggioni etc.), but individually prepared combinations that change daily. The pizzas are generously packed with fresh ingredients and are a joy to look at and to eat. The clients are real Italians (or French customers that are being paid to speak accent-free Italian).

Delicious truffle oil pizza. The people working the counter were great and spoke in Spanish. Would go here again on my next visit to Paris!

This place is legit! We were tired of eating French traditional cuisine so we looked for a place…read morethat was good and not too far from where we were saying in La Villette. We settled on Ober Mamma, which had wonderful reviews. We got there, there was a line and it was raining. the chances of having a sit-down meal at this packed place were grilled, until they gave us the opportunity to sit outside. We immediately jumped not he opportunity, and immediately ordered. Franchesco came out with his wide happy smile and took our order. He a delight to have wait on us. We ordered the mortadella with pieces of parmigiano, a Smoking Hot pizza, and La Fameus Pate a la Truffe. We also ordered a nice bottle of wine from Sicily, Franchesco's homeland. The pizza and the pasta came out first, and we started eating right away. The pizza had the right amount of heat, and the pasta was not overwhelmed with truffles. Then came the mortadella which was delicious. We would have preferred the mortadella first, but we happy ate it. Inside, the place is huge, and loud. The ambiance is modern and feels upscale. As with all places in Europe, the temperature inside was hot- so we were actually happy to be sitting outside. Luckily we were not getting wet under the awning, but it was cold. Luckily, this place also provides blankets for your legs which we happily used. At the end of our meal, Franchesco brought us some Lomoncello and hung out with us telling us about Italy & France. We had an amazing evening, great food, and even better company. Give this place a try. You will not be sorry.

Reservations is a must. This place gets so busy and glad we made reservations when visiting Paris…read more Interior deco is adorable and well thought out. Open kitchen concept where you can see the chefs happily cooking or cooking all stressed out lol. Our server was Izaya very friendly, well spoken and caring. He ensured our allergies were taken care of. He was fast with his service and continuously checked up on us to ensure we had everything we needed. Now food, mama Margherita pizza was freshly made so you have to really wait it out before taking a bite to ensure you don't burn your mouth. Pizza was evenly baked and crust was even yummy. Mozzarella cheese bites were the winner of the evening. So good the crumbs that covered the cheese were just wow. So tasty we ordered 3 servings of it. We ordered a small salad which was a generous portion for all of us. Good variety of wine list and very reasonably priced. Tiramisu was one of the dessert options and every bite met all our expectations. Overall great experience here they do squeeze a lot of people in there so you could be elbowing your neighbor on another table.

Marzo - Sharing a pizza with my sister. Appreciate that they cut it in half for us! Also, the chilli oil was the best I've ever had.

Very cute ambience and, most importantly, delicious food. A little pricey (average for that area really) but very much worth it. The grilled vegetable & mozzarella appetizer was also a stand out. Their olive oil and chilli oil are to die for, wish I could bottle it and take it home.

This all happened tonight when we visited for dinner. I ordered 4 appetizers and 3 pizzas. One appetizer was like a salad on top of ham. I was enjoying it when I bit down on something extremely hard that felt immediately like a tooth broke. I spit out a small gray object that looked liked glass or a piece of rock... more like glass that has layers and shine. Immediately my tongue starts feeling around and I feel a jagged edge on my upper back tooth that was never there. I immediately informed the closest person who was possibly a busboy or server named Louis I think. He asked me for the piece I bit into and I gave it to him without thinking I needed to take a photo of it. He took it to the back and threw it away! So he says it must have been a "nut". Obviously it was not a nut and the salad doesn't even have nuts in it! The staff... the man, the waitress, and the other server all as polite as can be start ignoring any of my requests to retrieve the piece I bit into and my requests to talk to a manager. It felt like they were laughing at my situation because every time I asked them a question, they would go talk to each other and laugh and would not answer the questions I was asking. Unhappy at not getting any sympathy from them or an apology, I finally asked them for more information about filing a claim for repairing my broken tooth and the server named Alice (I think... my French is bad), gave me the email address of someone to contact for Human Resources. They offered to have their insurance pay for any treatment so I guess I will take them up on it. I will update my review once they get back to me.
