We went for dinner after seeing the Eiffel Tower based on a recommendation from our hotel. As we were walking by we missed the entrance and commented on how amazing it smelled where we were, little did we know it was coming from our restaurant! Upon entrance (with our 14 month old and stroller), we were greeted by a very friendly gentlemen who ran to get the door for us. We saw him get the door for just about every guest as long as he wasn't carrying dishes. It was a bit tough to get around with the stroller but they accommodated us. Ours is pretty small so be mindful of that, might want to consider not bringing one. They did not have high chairs but most places in Paris seem to not, so be aware of that as well. I forgot to take photos of my food unfortunately but did if the menu. Our 14 month old enjoyed the minestrone soup (it was the best I've ever tried), I really enjoyed the linguini ou conchegli à pail (vegetarian dishes) and my husband enjoyed the lasagne bolognese. They bring out bread and olives beforehand and have a decent wine selection. Me being pregnant and my husband not wanting much to drink, his only option was a glass of the house wine but they do have half and full bottles available. The dinner portions are a bit small so if you're hungry I recommend trying an appetizer. The prices are great, I honestly was shocked & told my husband I would have paid 3x what I did for my pasta it was so good!

As you read this know that I used their free high speed internet to post this review! First off, we were greeted and seated right away. The service was very good compared to what we have received in London the past five days before coming to Paris. Our waiter was very attentive. The meal we ordered was perfect for two people to share. We got the American pizza and the lasagna bolognese. Everything was made to order, fresh, and warm. Our meal also included a side salad and a basket of bread. The pizza was packed with flavor! It was not soggy nor super crispy. The lasagna was creamy and flavorful as well. If your looking for some delicious meal close by the Eiffel tower stop by! Cheers!!

My wife and I went to eat a meal here late one night because she had seen a brochure in our hotel, and she wanted to try the pesto penne pasta. The smells from outside on the street were amazing! As we walked up closer, we were greeted by this very nice gentleman. There were enough table settings to accommodate at least 20-25 people, and the interior was very colorful and filled with culture from around the world. The ambience was very comfortable. I would suggest building your own pizza as mine was amazing. The pizzas measure about 12" across and was more than enough for me. My wife did get her pasta and she loved it. I'm still eating the leftovers two days later!! All in all, this quaint little restaurant is a gem. If you're in the area you should definitely stop by for a pizza pie!

We actually ended up coming to this restaurant after the one next door establishment seemed too cramped. Boy did we find a hidden gem. The staff is very friendly and helpful - the food delicious. I've tried both the seafood and margarita pizza as well as the pasta seafood dish. I'd recommend coming here for a chill, and uncomplicated good time.

Stopped by to grab a quick dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The server was very helpful and nice. The food was simple but very good. For it's location, the prices were pretty wallet friendly. Overall, a very good experience!

We visited la Gourmandise on our first night in France. We went early and it was mostly other Americans there. They provided an English menu for us and others. We enjoyed our pizza and it was in a very convenient location near the Eiffel Tower in the Rue Cler area. I also made the mistake to not specifically ask for tap water. They gave me a bottle for 3-4 EUR without asking for clarification. 2.5 stars.

This is a charming spot very near the Eiffel Tower. Charming staff, delicious food and a relaxing atmosphere. Recommended by travel guru Rick Steve's and for good reason. Affordable and delicious with added charm!

Excellent customer service and food. Drinks and food are reasonably priced.we had Lasagna , pizza and pasta. All tasted fantastic. Location of this place not on a main Street but food and service make it worth the visit.

    Wine, pizza, salad, and dessert!

Great food and service. Recommended by Rick Steves of NPR. I had the campanard pizza and my GF had the Gourmandise salad. Both were delicious. We shared the tiramisu and a bottle of wine! Amazing dinner.

I got the 4 saisons with chicken instead of ham. Perfection.

As said by other reviewers, this place is a gem. Found in the side streets of the Eiffel Tower, this cozy Italian restaurant houses the best pizza I've ever had - and that's coming from a New Yorker! The bread was the best part, in addition to the perfect sauce to topping and cheese ratio I was in pizza heaven. Every bite I took had a never ending pulling of cheese, amazing. I will be dreaming about this restaurant until I return to Paris. Such a sweet man who runs the restaurant too!

We found eating out every meal while visiting Paris can get very expensive , so when we spotted this pizza place down the street from our hotel, we were eager to try it! It was pretty crowded when we place d our order (to go) and while waiting outside we were served a free glass of wine! After the short wait, the really friendly staff told us our pizza and salad were ready. Great thin crust and flavor! And Nice People!

I was in the area. The owners were extremely friendly and nice. The food was very good. I had some pizza whose name I forgot but it was excellent. The only thing i am not so happy about is that they did not inform me that there are different sizes. Like for one person, it will be smaller. I got the one for 2 persons and it was a bit too much for me. :( but i will come back if i get a chance!

Delicious salad and wine before dinner.

My sister and I always stop and eat here when in Paris. We always stay in an apartment in the 7th and this place is great. Pizza and pasta dishes are excellent and the owner is always so kind to us, 2 sisters from Texas .

Don't expect authenticate Italian food in Paris. Maybe microwave food, but I'm not sure. I had the lasagne which was strange.

We were absolutely AMAZED how delicious this little cozy restaurant was and service was 10 stars . The three guys who were running the whole restaurant were so nice, welcoming, friendly, efficient and hardworking. They all had great attitude and so polite, I love Paris and the people are so kind and polite. We had primitive wine I think that's what they called it on the menu. We had margarita pizza and arugula & artichoke salad. They brought us bread which was pizza crust delicious, I'm sure they have a pizza oven & by the way kitchen was underground because they had an elevator called dumb waiter to send up the food. We shared marscapone biscotti pistachio dessert OMG. Cappuccino for my husband and I had an Americano and I LOVE IT that they heated up the cream. Details are everything and simply delicious food. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE. Thank you to the amazing host, waiter, server & most of all the amazing CHEF for the amazing food that he has made.

This all happened tonight when we visited for dinner. I ordered 4 appetizers and 3 pizzas. One appetizer was like a salad on top of ham. I was enjoying it when I bit down on something extremely hard that felt immediately like a tooth broke. I spit out a small gray object that looked liked glass or a piece of rock... more like glass that has layers and shine. Immediately my tongue starts feeling around and I feel a jagged edge on my upper back tooth that was never there. I immediately informed the closest person who was possibly a busboy or server named Louis I think. He asked me for the piece I bit into and I gave it to him without thinking I needed to take a photo of it. He took it to the back and threw it away! So he says it must have been a "nut". Obviously it was not a nut and the salad doesn't even have nuts in it! The staff... the man, the waitress, and the other server all as polite as can be start ignoring any of my requests to retrieve the piece I bit into and my requests to talk to a manager. It felt like they were laughing at my situation because every time I asked them a question, they would go talk to each other and laugh and would not answer the questions I was asking. Unhappy at not getting any sympathy from them or an apology, I finally asked them for more information about filing a claim for repairing my broken tooth and the server named Alice (I think... my French is bad), gave me the email address of someone to contact for Human Resources. They offered to have their insurance pay for any treatment so I guess I will take them up on it. I will update my review once they get back to me.
