i saw on google that people were saying that it was the best pizza in the West Island. I could not resist since i am a pizza lover always looking for a good one. Spano telles me it is greek and i usually do not have a good experience with a greek pizza. I love Italian. But i took a chance anyway. The pizza had a nice crust but not a dough that you find under an Italian one. the garnish was tasty. actually, this pizza was better tasting than some Italian joints i went to. The decor is like a sports bar. they have a great menu with subs and fast food items. The service was great , friendly and efficient. will go back to try the subs read more

Pizza Spano I use to eat there 20 years ago and it is still delicious. We were in the neighbourhood on the West Island just off St Regis near sources The staff is friendly . The are located in a residential area and known for their Pizza. We were hungry on a Saturday afternoon and decide to order a small all dressed pizza to go. The pizza was loaded with lots of cheese, vegetables and pepperoni. The pizza was old school type of pizza and was way better then ordering from the chains. We will be back read more

I'm not a pizza lover but their Deluxe is amazing. There chicken and mushroom sub is my favourite. I'm not big fan of French fries anywhere but with their amazing gravy I find I enjoy them. They also have my mom's favourite chicken pita. read more

We rolled up with a gang of 8 right in the midst of a snowstorm and Spanos was shovelling out the delivery and takeout boxes like a whole hungry community depended on them. There were 4 other tables occupied in this tiny cozy restaurant and we were able to get seated right away. Service was slow but very friendly and helpful, and though I'm not a sports person I love the vintage authentic memorabilia they have on the walls. The menu is right up my alley too, classic Montreal diner vibes with pizza, subs, gyros and chicken wings. What else do you need in life? I shared a veggie pizza and veggie sub, both were great. I loved the dough and the sauce and everything was hot and fresh tasting. Our table in general was very happy from kids to grandparents. A very sweet surprise in the West Island. read more

The salad was deliciously fresh and the souvlaki hot and very tasty, the fries were golden but not at all greasy. The cheese less pizzas for my kids were the best they ever had as the sauce was tasty and rich and toppings plentiful! read more

Somewhat similar to McGill Pizza. I was not a fan of the sausage. The pepperoni also did not have that much flavor, but that seems to be because the sausage was overpowering. I did like the crust, which was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. There was more than enough sauce of the pizza which tasted nice, not too bold or too sweet. The only major issue that I had was that there was a piece of plastic or parchment paper cooked into the pizza (under one of the sausages). If I were to return, I would probably just get a cheese pizza, as they pile on the cheese and it tastes great. However, if you get a cheese pizza, I would recommend having it well done. read more

Ordered delivery to my hotel which was very fast and the food was good. The sub I had was amazing (vegetarian with mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese) and a small poutine which was average. The fries on the bottom were kind of dry, the gravy was good but it only had shredded cheese and not curds (isn't this Quebec!?!?). I almost hung up the phone when I first called because the lady could not have been more rude. Other than the encounter with her, everything was good and I would eat here again if I were in the area. read more
