Forget about Subway (especially the one across the street), Quizno's, etc.; this is the place to get grinders, because they're so GREAT! I've been coming here for years - always putting my order over the phone and in 10 mins I pick up my delicious grinders. I love the ham grinder and the roast beef one; I haven't tried the others. I am addicted to the grinders here. It's the bread that taste delicious. It seems as though it is baked on the same pizza oven. I went today and brought my son. We happened to get their at 2:15 which the Dodgers are playing the Nationals at 2:30 so it got packed quick. The wait time for food was about 20 minutes and they brought out my grinder first my son ordered the mini pizza. I wished they would of brought the food out at the same time. My son was hungry and I couldn't eat in front of him so I had to sit and wait. His pizza came 5 minutes later. Pitchers of shock top seemed to be on everyone table and I noticed everyone who ordered the pan pizza had to ask for plates each time. I've only been here for midweek lunch and the service is kind of slow. I think it is because there is only one or two people working at this time and it's not like you can rush pizza. It is always going to take some time to make it. The pizza is pretty good. For me, it is pretty hard to screw up pizza, but they don't have that problem. What is impressive is the size of pizzas they can make. If you have a large party, and you live in the area, you can get a pretty large pizza for a pretty decent price. If you are a Dodger hater, this isn't the place for you. I'm not a baseball fan but I am impressed with the display of Dodger memorabilia in this pizza parlour. They are Yelp followers as well. After years and years of business with this place I'm done! I was told birthday parties can't be reserved on Friday's because it's their busiest day. So I walk in with my family on my son's birthday and 4 tables are reserved for a party on a Friday! I confronted the girl at the counter who could care less and said to talk to her boss. We used to love going here. The pizza had a unique spice that I hadn't tasted on any other pizza and I loved it. My wife and I hadn't been for a couple of years since we moved from the area so we decided to stop in on Friday night to have some pizza and a couple of beers and watch the Dodgers game. We ordered the pizza and a pitcher beer. After sitting down we found out that the game wasn't going to be on because they didn't get the channel. Ok fine...I'll still enjoy the pizza, right? Wrong! When the pizza came it looked like something you'd see in the freezer at Stater Bros. After biting into it I realized that the pizza in the freezer at Stater Bros. is actually better. There was hardly any cheese, the sauce was not the sauce I remembered and was just not good and the crust was like hot cardboard. It's used to be a nice place to go with good food and a nice Dodgers atmosphere. Not anymore...we will not be back. I do have to say though, the woman behind the counter who took our order was very nice. read more

Great family place that accommodated us, group of 25+, while we were out there for our soccer tournament. The owners were kind and patient. We had 10 kids running around and they were great with all of them. The little arcade in the back was excellent when you have kids that are waiting for their food. Plenty of seating! We were one of the last ones to arrive for our team party so all reseved seating for our party was taken. I asked one of the older women who work there if she can clear off one of the booth style tables her response to me was she didnt know if she could because they were swamped with orders. Trying to be understanding I told her no worries when she has time. I took it upon my self to clear the table and throw all trash in the nearby trash can. When she returned she tells me we cannot sit there its for paying customers. I told her we are paying customers we just placed an order for my family of 5. I go explain the situation to the owner who then tells me this is why he dont reseve for parties. On my first visit I had the small pizza and beer, the wait was insane .. with 6 friends, 2 had finished eating by the time I finally got my small, I had finished and left the game early before everyone had been served. The ONLY reason I am giving two a three star instead of a one star is because the owner, Anthony is the man and made amends for a terrible experience as best he could. We reserved tables for a family gathering yesterday - family hasn't gotten together in several years. The reservations were from 2-5. We OBVIOUSLY spent PLENTY of money - but for SOME reason, a waitress (an older Mexican lady) with a TERRRRRRRRRIBLY rude attitude decided at 4:00 to hush everyone up and DEMAND we start "wrapping things up" - because other people will be coming in, and with the CRAZIEST attitude EVER - said "I mean - you guys HAVE been here since two " WTTTTTF...I could understand if we were being loud, drunk, obnoxious - I could understand if we weren't spending a BUNCH of money on food and drinks - isn't that a GOOD thing for business? As someone who has managed many a restaurant I can answer - YES- we are EXACTLY the type of customers that are good for business. The owner must have noticed that his employee was acting like a trash bucket and came and apologized with two free pitchers of beer - HE Was great-but because of her I will NEVER go back there again. We recently moved into this city and have been trying to find places to eat. We ordered for pickup. It was 2 large 2 topping pizzas for $21.99 + tax. We got pepperoni and sausage, and pepperoni and Canadian bacon. We got there and there was a good amount of people so we were hoping it was going to be good. Well, we were pretty disappointed. It tasted like it should be $5 pizza. Hardly any sauce, ok amount of toppings, and cardboard style pizza dough/bread/crust. Over charged for this. But we wanted to try it so can't be mad.
