The four of us shared a number of appetizers and pizzas...meatballs with focaccia bread, ricotta with focaccia bread, king shrooms pie, Okanagan veggie pie and a double pepperoni pie. Each dish was carefully crafted, and all three pizzas had perfectly charred crust and a bevy of fresh toppings. Absolutely DELICIOUS pizza and so very close to its sister pizza Via Tevere! We took our friends here who are avid Via Tevere regulars and one of them enjoyed their pizza more than Via! We all ordered different pizzas. Spicy Hawaiian was a standout for us. Great hint of sweetness from the pineapple but balanced nicely with the heat. I had the salami and olive pizza which was great too but just a hint too salty as the salami and olives are both very salty ingredients. The crust/dough is perfect and charred nicely on the bubblier bits! They also put their delicious spicy oil on the table so we could dip our crust or pour over our pizza for more heat! The ambience is great too, and I love the decor! Would highly recommend you go here if you haven't yet. It is a must eat resto in Penticton and one of my favourites! read more

I am enclosing below a very fair and polite email I sent Chris at the restaurant. I was letting him know that my pizza takeout order was very unsatisfying. A gave him plenty of days later to return a response to my feedback. I was confident he would reply, however he also failed badly. The middle of a pizza should never be a messy soup unable to pick up any of the slices. After being charmed at the door, I guess I was a fool to leave a 18% gratuity for a pizza I had never tried before. Please allow customers when paying with your debit/credit card machine more options to pay rather than directed first to pay a tip. So very wrong, I never ate in or had anyone serve me drinks??" Easily the best pizza spot in Penticton if you like Neapolitan pizza. Reservations are recommended since it fills up quite quickly. We were in Penticton for a week over the summer and came here twice, we loved it that much. Our favourite is the classic anchovy pizza. They really don't skimp out on the anchovies so you get a bit in each bite. We also loved the meatballs and focaccia appetizer. It comes in a clay bowl and stays warm for a long time so you don't have to pick between finishing the pizza or the meatballs - you can have a bite of each! A good friend who lived in Penticton sent me here when I asked for good pizza, and it did not disappoint. It's super trendy and stylish and we had a wonderful dining experience on the patio in the summer. We took advantage of the weekday offer to buy a bottle of wine and get a free pizza, and it was a delight to select a bottle of their extensive list. Our pizza was outstanding, with a soft thin crust and great fresh toppings. It's the type of pizza you cut at the table with pizza scissors, so if that's your jam you'll love it here. Wow!!! Food amazing, service outstanding, covid details all in place. Went there tonight with family and we each shared a salad and pizza. The flavors in both of our salads and pizza's was so good and of course we finished with dessert! This restaurant came highly recommended to us as it's the place in Penticton where a family from Italy only eats! I would recommend sharing a salad and pizza, you can always order more. I stopped at Tratto to see if they offer any gluten free crust options. The woman who greeted me at the door informed me that "nothing" on the menu was gluten-free. I completely understand the risk of cross-contamination and the owners' desire to stay true to their vision. A poor gluten free crust ruins a pizza, and a good one takes a considerable effort on the kitchen's part. So, if Tratto does not want to offer a gf crust, I get it. However, to dismissively say that "nothing" on the menu is gluten free, is rude. How are you working gluten into the olive appetizer? read more

Great pizza! Pendicton doesn't have a lot of variety when it comes to food so it was great to find a spot which did Neapolitan pizza. Their customer service is spot on as well, we ordered two pizzas without pork (my family eats Halal) and they mistakenly gave us a pizza with pork on it. I called and they refunded that pizza!
