We were the only only ones waiting to be served. We wanted smoothies. They had no smoothies. I asked for lemonade. They had no lemonade. I asked for a bowl of fruit and a sprite. The solo employee proceeded to take orders from 10+ customers prior to working on any food. I asked for a refund. She refused. I complained. She stopped taking orders. It took her less than a minute to scoop frozen fruit and give me a warm sprite. 30 minute wait!
The place is small and with cute ambiance. They do give drinks in pineapple , which is very cool. Service is very quick. We tried Pina colada which is truly exceptional. The perfect blend of pineapple and coconut flavors, refreshing and an indulgent treat. Every sip is a vacation in a glass. I'm hooked to these pina coladas ! Highly recommended. Do check out this place when in Puerto Rico.
My friends and I were obsessed with these pina coladas as they were sweet and slightly creamy. First time around we wanted to be fancy and got the pineapple version. You get slightly more of a drink but coming out to almost $20 including tip and a shot of run, its not worth it. You're better off getting the $5 one and spiking it yourself as the topping of pineapple, cherry and whip cream is the same for both. Location is super convenient as its right next to the beach. Service is much quicker than the shop directly next door. I recommend checking them out!
Came around 1pm on a Sat and they were out of pineapples. Then tried to order the Tropi smoothie but they were out of mangoes. Changed to sweet smoothie but they were out of papaya. At this point I would be getting either just the Pina Colada in a cup (pre mixed mixture) or strawberry and banana smoothie. I decided not to get anything but my friend got the Pina Colada cup and it was creamy and not too sweet. But a little disappointed that they were out of the pineapples so early since that's their signature drink. Staff was friendly and patient.
Cute and efficient little window where you can order smoothies and berry bowls. The pina colada was quite delicious - keep in mind each shot of rum is an additional $3 and I feel like the shots may have been watered down (I didn't really taste much at all). The berries in the açaí bowl were very fresh and tasty. The large bowl is quite a big portion and definitely enough to split between two people. Would recommend!
Stopped in for a quick piña colada. It was really good and served with a cherry on top. We ordered ours with rum, but you couldn't really taste it. Def recommend checking in on Yelp as you get 20% which of course I found about after I paid . They've got a few tables with so Jenga so we enjoyed the ac for a bit!
This place was right by our hotel so I ended up stopping by here twice during our trip. They are known for their pina coldas - which are priced at just $4 (it is more if you want more shots of alcohol). I actually ended up coming here for their acai bowls which were so fresh, refreshing and so tasty. I ended up getting the romantic bowl - they were out of bananas so I swapped the bananas for blue berries. The bowls are super tasty and refreshing for a hot summer day and they make them all right in front of you. All the bowls are packed full of stuff and they all just go so well together. Highly recommend coming to this place for smoothies - it's also super close to the beach so you can take your drinks / acai bowls to consume there as well! The prices are also pretty reasonable for what you are getting.
Shot shots shots.... $3 for each shot and the limit is your imagination. Lol. It's a great location because while you wait on line to enter pannes condado you can grab a pineapple or just walk around the neighborhood. They do have virgin option drinks as well for those who don't partake on an adult beverage. It's a hole in a wall and that usually works for me. Glad I stopped by and great tip. Check in on Yelp and receive 20% off.
The pina colada at Piña Loka is just amazing. It has the perfect amount of sweetness and texture. There was not much ice/slush leftover at the end which I usually find in others. The servers were nice and friendly. Service was quick. Pina colada in a cup is $5; in a pineapple it's $12. They also have a ton of smoothies and açaí bowls. Overall rating: 10/10
PiñaLoka is a great spot to grab a drink before you head to the beach. I ordered a passion fruit pina colada with rum, and it was the perfect thing to gulp down on the beach! The prices are also pretty decent! The only downside is that there's only one person who works the stand, so the wait can be a little long. We waited about 20 minutes before we got our drinks.

This review is for the Old San Juan location. Stopped in for a piña colada after walking around OSJ. Walked in and the interior is so stinking cute! The friendly staff greets you and takes your order. I opted for the alcoholic piña colada in a cup and it was SO refreshing. Wanted to get the pineapple, but I knew I wasn't going to be able to finish it. Along with alcohol, you can add flavors to further customize your colada. They also have smoothies, lemonades and acaí bowls. There are a couple of tables inside where you can sit and enjoy along with some table games. Definitely recommend coming in and trying something refreshing. read more
The convenience of its location alone warranted an extra star. This stand is located a block from Condado Beach. I spent every bit of daylight/sunlight at this beach on my last day in town. I ended up getting hungry but didn't want to venture too far off, so walked over to Piña Loka and got a medium Berry Açaí Bowl. It was not the type of açaí bowl that I'm accustomed to: there's comes with a scoop of frozen açaí sitting atop granola, with some fresh fruit. The fruit was indeed fresh, and my body thanked me for the light nourishment after hours of sitting in the sun. However, I do feel that $12 (after tax) is too expensive for what I got. But hey, it's a great little hustle and I won't knock them for that. read more

I can't count how many Pina colada pineapples I had on my 5 day visit to San Juan. We stayed at a hotel right around the corner so it was easy to pass on our way to the beach. Delicious! Expensive? Kind of, especially after requesting to make it strong with an extra shot or 2 but it's a fun, memorable drink. I didn't try any of the other smoothie bowls they serve though they looked great as well! read more
Andrea & Genesis we're the absolute best!!!!!! We stumbled on this location when we were hot and thirsty after a hike through the fort in Old San Juan. These two have off great energy before we even walked in. After my boyfriend got is drink, Andrea came outside to hand me a cup of the remaining blend. Those pina coladas were so yummy. I was regretting my decision to get a fresh coconut before arriving. When we got back to our Airbnb, we told our friends and they insisted we go back the following day. We returned with three additional friends in tow and celebrated the start of my birthday with these two ladies. They had the rest of the patrons sing happy birthday to me and we had a mini dance party! They were definitely a vibe! I'll vacation again just to hang out with them and sip great drinks. read more
Cute street stand in the main, Condado Beach shopping/restaurant area. Only about a block from the beach entrance. Menu includes Pina colada's (in a cup or pineapple), smoothies, acai bowls and a few other things. Service is quick and efficient. Pricing isn't too bad. Note that the Pina Colada prices don't include alcohol - it's an extra 3 bucks per shot of rum. Still decent price with that considered. Check in on Yelp for 20% off! read more

These pina colada's were the best. I could have literally drank them all day and night. You can get a cup or a pineapple! It's basically a stand on the street so you get your drink and go about your business. I love that! Service was quick and friendly! read more

Wasn't going to get something from here, but after I checked in Yelp gave me a 20% off my order discount. Had a blueberry smoothie with brown sugar, kinda watery... but it was hot so I didn't mind. Great location and recommend giving them a try. read more

Loved the pina colada here! Very refreshing! Most of the bars we went to in PR did not do frozen pina coladas, however this place did! The wait wasn't too long as we went on a Monday night. read more

There was only 1 girl working which caused a small wait which is understandable. although they didn't have certain fruits for the bowls. the bowl wasn't bad at all but it's definitely not worth the price as it's so tiny and was over 10$. it was a cute little spot right bu the beach so you could walk over and sit and eat. read more

Piñaloka on Ashford Avenue in San Juan is a great place to go for all things quality refreshing drinks and bowls. I really like all of the different options that they have available here for a good value. The staff here is very friendly and efficient at getting everything together. Good experience every time I have been here. read more

Stopped here two days on our vacation. The bowls are delicious and you can modify if you want. The bowls are a bit small but the price is still fair. You order at the counter and they will make your bowl right away - I waited less than 10 minutes each time. You can't eat there but the beach is a 2 minute walk away! read more

No trip to Puerto Rico is complete without a piña colada. I couldn't help but notice the vast number of people on the streets of PR with pineapples filled with piña coladas and I knew I had to have one. My virgin pina colada was so refreshing, especially on a hot summer day. Just beware of the inevitable brain freeze. The price was a little steep, if you opt for a pineapple, but at least Yelp offers a discount to save you a few coins. If you like piña coladas *in my Rupert Holmes voice* make a beeline to PinaLoka and start your trip the right way. Cheers! read more
When I saw this place on Yelp, I just HAD to try it. I was met with disappointment. While it tasted decent, it was way too overpriced and they were a bit stingy with the amount of alcohol added. I recommend going to another place a better drink and more reasonably priced read more

There is a sign that says "Best pina colada in town" so of course I had to see what it was about. I ordered mine with liquor inside of the pineapple. I did not taste a drop of liquor and I paid $4 extra to have liquor. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and say my pineapple soaked up the liquor. Either was the presentation was terrible and the taste was non existent very bland. My husband was smart he ordered his Pina Colada with liquor in a cup and he said his was good and strong. Maybe they put my shot of liquor in his cup The service was slow and standing in the sun with no shade anywhere close was irritating. Not to mention a local walked up and ordered after me but somehow got her order before I got mine. I guess it was because she didn't get liquor in her Pina colada either way I ordered first. read more

AMAZING Piña colada. Not overly sweet, but nutty and delicious. One of the best I've ever had for ~$7.50 (with white Bacardi) the açaí isn't that great tho. read more

I came here a total of 4 times while staying in the Condado area of Puerto Rico and absolutely fell in love with this place. I truly think they have some of the best Piña Coladas for taste, quality, and quantity ratios! As of when I went a few weeks ago, the price for a "cup-sized" portion was only $4 and the full pineapple was $11 (tbh I got both and the full pineapple doesn't have any more quantity than the cup it just looks cool). In total I got 3 cup-sized portions and 1 full pineapple Piña Coladas. The best part is you can ask for Rum shot amounts which I usually landed on 2 to 3 per for only an additional $3 a shot! If I ever come back to PR I'm hitting this cheap hut up again! read more
