Stopped in for breakfast before heading out to our cruise ship. We thought we'd grab a quick bite and be on our way. The quick bite turned into almost three hours because this place was unfortunately short staffed. Our waiter was very kind and great; however the wait was not what we expected. And we weren't told they were short staffed until after we sat. This place was really eclectic and had a great vibe. The menu had a great selection. The love juice was really tasty and my breakfast dish the Rodeo was good. Not sure it was completely worth the wait but it definitely satisfied my hunger. I loved the ambiance of this place, but unfortunately the long wait time and service ruined the experience. I would like to note that the workers behind the coffee were really nice and accommodating, but the woman taking our order and the cook came off as really rude. You could see them clearly getting frustrated and annoyed at customers with their own mistakes (Putting a wrong name to an order and not asking for proper specifications on orders that need it). To add onto that, there was a complete lack of communication between the woman taking our order and the people at the juice bar. I ordered a fruit salad and I got charged $13 for what I felt was a side of fruit. The woman who took my order was condescending at my surprise to there being a fruit salad because it wasn't on the printed menu or chalkboards. The baristas even said they didn't know there was one. She did not communicate to anyone that I had bought the salad and I had to have a much longer wait then I would've had if she just communicated clearly. My peers had other experiences of the staff being condescending with questions about orders and just being genuinely rude to customers. read more

This place was recommended by The Dreamcatcher hotel. We walked 15 mins and were super happy they had air conditioning! There was seating upstairs as well. There were local items for sale which was cool! All the drinks were pretty. Even my mimosa had a flower. My husband had a juice which he said tasted fresh and delicious. I ordered the avocado toast which came on a bed of spinach with dressing and tomatoes. Yum! I also ordered the tofu tacos which totally surprised me. The tofu was seasoned! She brought out some hot sauce that really brought it all together. I am only sad they we found this place on the last day. It's Saturday and our server told us the lunch menu starts at 12pm. Stuff on that menu looked tasty as well. It's always refreshing to find a real vegan dish done well! Definitely check this place out. The vibe is great and the service was friendly and REALLY quick compared to most places. read more

OMG, don't miss out on this little gem. The atmosphere meets the meal. Eggs Benedict, nothing like what you get on the main land. Pancakes, you get two, but they are extremely large..and the French Toast is to die for. It's relaxing, wholesome and you can buy clothes and jewelry in the shop upstairs. My bad, the egg wrap and POTATOES, I can't begin to tell you how exceptionally well they are prepared. The staff is amazing, accommodating, and bi-lingual. Please stop by and check out this local cafe. It has a warm and welcoming ambiance, with comforting Latin music and unique decor. We stopped in for some fresh smoothies, they tasted delicious! The Body Boost was a great citrus flavor and the Emerald drink was packed with nutrients. We also ate the roasted potatoes and eggs but the plate looked so good we forgot to take a picture! Kampoli Kafe has always been one of my top breakfast/brunch spots in PR. The vibes are amazing, the perfect temperature indoors, it is decorated beautifully with plants and surrounded by art, and the tables and seating are fascinating pieces of furniture. The food is always delicious and offers a variety of healthy and dietary substitutes for their dishes. This time around, I ordered the French Toast Berry Donut, the Almond Butter Toast, and the Body Boost Smoothie. Everything was delicious, but I wish the food had come by quicker; we waited almost 40 minutes for the food to arrive. Upstairs there is a cute little shop and seating areas you should visit. Kamoli Market is a sheek restaurant with tons of cute decor and sitting area. I have ordered iced latte with oatmeal milk a few times from here and really like it. They have fresh pressed juices and I recommend the beet one with ginger and carrots. There is also a cute boutique inside Kamoli with beautiful trendy clothe. I shopped there this week! read more

After a little exploring and before heading to the beach, this little place caught our eye. Great curb appeal and a fantastic front entryway seating area with plenty more seating inside. So, I guess I would classify this place as a Women's Boutique/Cafe with a few things in one of the corners for the guys. Also, head upstairs and you'll find a nice selection of jewelry. For my refresher I went for the Rise and Shine minus the greens. So basically mixed fruits and coconut milk. Really hit the spot on this pleasantly warm day. Staff were friendly and never made us feel rushed, even though all we had were a couple of smoothies. My smoothie was a solid 4 out of 5. My wife really liked hers as well (I don't remember which one she had - green one in the pics). Only down side is what a few other reviews have stated, a little on the pricy side. But, aside from that it's hard to go wrong here. read more

Kamoli Butik is a cafe, juice bar, and women's apparel shop. There's plenty of indoor seating and an adorable front patio. While their juice menu is a bit pricey, the love juice I ordered was freshing and delicious. It was work to not finish my $10 juice in 5 big sips. I turned to my friend and commented that Kamoli almost feels like a yoga studio. If the chairs were cleared out in the center, it totally could be! This cafe/juice bar has relaxing vibes and certainly is an easy place to spend a slowmorning or chill afternoon. 4 stars for the relaxing atmosphere and surprising santuary located near the heart of Ocean Park. read more

Perks: Indoor and outdoor seating, second floor outdoor seating Boutique on the second floor for shopping. Beautiful scenery; outdoor second floor is my favorite because they have flowers and plants along the balcony with wind chimes! Juices: The juices are absolutely delightful, smooth, they add a flower in your juice for aesthetic! I got the Love Juice which was Ginger Beets Apple And lemon. I got a second one to go! Service: It was busy and only two servers up stairs whom are also the host and the waitresses. Here in San Juan one person does all three jobs and usually they're packed with service. The servers here were attentive and tried to seat me and get my order as soon as possible. So far the places I've been to have been BUSY so definitely be patient! They're working hard! Food: I ordered the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon! Compared to another place in San Juan I've been to, this had a balanced flavor and taste! The seasoning was superb and the eggs were perfectly yolky just how I like them ! I prefer a little more pepper and salt but over here they give you a grinder and you can add as much as you'd like! The Hollandaise sauce was a perfect amount! And the potatoes were cooked perfectly. Not too soft and not too firm. The only good thing about this place is the decor. The service was awful. It took 50 minutes to get two omelettes and a breakfast wrap. When the wrap came it was missing half the ingredients and when I asked where the rest was the made me read to ingredients off the menu to see what they missed. Like shouldn't you know what's on the ONLY wrap at this cafe. The man with the butterfly tattoo on his neck was rude and didn't want to help us at all. We were missing a drink and pancakes and they never gave them to us. We felt like we were being help prisoner it took so long. We never even got all the food we paid for. A cute little cafe! Spacious, charming decor, and great service. I took off one star because I felt their smoothies and acai bowls could be better -- the acai was very watery and not my usual preference and the smoothie was a bit bland IMO. I would still recommend coming here to do some work, reading a book and trying out one of their smoothies or bowls! read more

Kamoli Kafe Butik & Market has become our absolute favorite spot on ALL of the island! Over our two week vacation, we dined here three times and would have made it a fourth time had they not been closed, but our fault for arriving too late. The vibe is fresh, light, and welcoming with handmade jewelry, clothing, a sweet pair of custom Nikes, plus an awesome menu offering a variety of extremely fresh, vibrant, and creative dishes. Our mainstay is the Smoked Salmon Artisan Sandwich. Served on a delicious seeded bread that comes slightly toasted with baby spinach, creamy goat cheese, the ripest mango and avocado; my wife dreams of this sandwich! My personal favorite is the Pesto Chicken Wrap with all the fixings - definitely opt to add the sweet plantains, bacon, and avocado... you'll thank me, no doubt. Our meals also came with the best roasted breakfast potatoes accompanied by delicious mushrooms and tomatoes, so good! The fresh juices, smoothies, and smoothie bowls are all a hit as well. Last but certainly not least is the friendly and kind staff. We made friends with Cristina who is so sweet, accommodating, and just great all around. She multitasks like a true pro while also ensuring that guests are well cared for and happy. She provided excellent menu suggestions but went above and beyond with her tips and recommendations for local beach spots, nightlife, and must-do activities in the area.
