From the moment we sat in her chair my daughter was put at ease and had everything explained to her not to me, this made a huge difference! My daughter didn't even flinch or cry when she got them done and that was because she was part of the process. She got to choose the color of her stone and metal color and even got to see Sam change it to the color she wanted. She's a gem!

They had jewelry that I needed even tho he told me they were very low on jewelry all together and to check back mid-March. The piece I got was only $10 dollhairs so that made me very happy! He also told me of other places I could check out for the piercings I may want to get hahaha! I don't have tats and will never get any. My theory is...why would I wanna put a bumper sticker on a Bentley? Hahahaha! So I've always been intrigued by piercings...certain ones and that's why I got the one I did. I had 4 others but stupidly took them out. Anyway, this shop is great nevertheless! The staff, is incredibly nice and helpful in many ways. I love when a place refers you to another spot if they don't have what u want or what u wanna get. Says a lot about that business. So thank you to them for that. Worst piercing experience I've ever had!!!! My friends and I…read morecame here to get piercings, and we all left deeply disappointed. We honestly should have turned around and walked out the moment we stepped in--none of the staff greeted us. Three employees were sitting around on their phones, and with no other customers in the shop, it felt unwelcoming and awkward from the start. We weren't given any choice in our jewelry, and what they did put in was completely incorrect. One of my friends got a conch piercing, and instead of a flat back stud (which is standard and appropriate), they used a horseshoe ring. Another friend and I got upper helix piercings, and they put in 20 gauge butterfly back lobe jewelry--which is absolutely not suitable for cartilage piercings. I've had several cartilage piercings before, so I immediately knew something was wrong. I asked the piercer why he used a butterfly back instead of a flat back, and he dismissed my concerns, saying, "I've been piercing for a long time, so I know what I'm doing," and claimed that flat backs are harder to clean. Ironically, butterfly backs are full of little crevices where bacteria can easily build up, making them more difficult to keep sanitary. To make matters worse, when I got up after being pierced, I noticed my hand was bleeding. I suspect he dropped a needle and it nicked me, which was very concerning. That's when I realized he hadn't wiped down the chair between clients--and even more disturbing, the piercers didn't wash their hands before gloving up. They had literally been eating pizza when we arrived. The aftercare advice was also completely off. He told me to clean the piercing with Dial soap because "everything else would dry it out"--referring to saline solution. That's just bad advice. Drying out the area is exactly what you want to avoid bacteria buildup. Overall, the entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth. It felt like they had no real understanding of safe, hygienic piercing practices. As soon as I got home, I booked a jewelry change appointment at my trusted piercing shop--Hippie Hoops and Holes--who are incredibly professional and kind. At that appointment, they were shocked by what I told them about this shop. They replaced the jewelry with the correct gauge, which was painful because the previous piercer had squeezed on the butterfly backs so tightly there was no room for swelling. They had a hard time removing them. My friend with the conch piercing also had to get hers changed. The piercer at Hippie said the ring had been bent to fit around her ear--and if she'd left it in, it likely would have caused a major keloid or even ruined the piercing altogether. It's common knowledge that you don't pierce a conch with a hoop. They also told us that all of our piercings had been done at strange angles, and if they don't heal properly, we may need to have them corrected in the future. That's not something anyone should have to worry about after paying for a professional service. I truly cannot recommend this place to anyone. If I could rate it zero stars, I would. Also, please note that in Idaho, tattoo/piercing shops aren't required to have a sanitary license--so please do your research and be cautious before getting any service here.

I hate to be a "karen" and didn't want to leave a bad review. I reached out to this shop via email…read moreback on June 13th with photos to try to come to a resolution as I didn't feel the outcome was at all desirable. I received zero response. On June 8th on a whim I popped in to get two nostril piercings. I was able to be taken on the spot and all the hygiene practices were good and the process was easy. Two decades ago when I got the same piercings, they used a ball ended straight piece of jewelry, they used L-shape here. I followed all protocol regarding cleaning and keeping the area free from infection. But as the slight swelling began, my husband and I could t help but notice within 3 days the piercings were sunken into the hole. It was not only painful but not sustainable. By June 11th I called the local shop in Coeur D'Alene where we were presently on vacation. The gentleman working there wanted me to come in then, but he had no an availability, so he kindly came in early the following day as we had prepaid activities I needed to attend and he felt the matter was urgent. When he saw the jewelry he was surprised as he said it wasn't a type he sees often for new piercings and didn't account for swelling. After replacing the L-shaped with labret jewelry and $135 later, my new piercings felt way better and I haven't had an issue since. I'm disappointed in my outcome and believe it was completely due to the type of jewelry used. It's also disappointing to not receive a response from the business in over a week. Yet I'm sure I will on here promptly. It's easy to say "do your research" about going to a location but there were only 8 reviews previously.
