I had all my carpet and tile removed and replaced with laminate flooring throughout the entire house, including closets. Also had them paint the entire inside (floors, ceilings, trim, doors). I highly recommend them. The whole crew were great workers. Everything was covered and taken care of. When they were done, there was no clean up. Breaking up tile creates a lot of dust and I expected the worst and there was hardly any dust around. You will not be disappointed. read more

QUALITY, PROFESSIONAL, COMMUNICATIVE, and VALUE would be used to describe my experience with PK Floors. I originally went to PK Floors Plus in Rockwall a year ago when I bought my house for a quote. Unfortunately, I couldn't get my floors done at that time because I needed to do one other big repair so I waited. Fast forward to about 3 months ago when I started looking at floors again. I got multiple quotes and kept trying to find flooring but nothing really felt right and perfect. I decided to go into PK and revisit my quote there. I cannot praise them enough for the EXCEPTIONAL customer service. The ladies up front pulled my previous stats, helped me pick out a floor (that I loved and it was super quick) and treated me so well considering I never bought anything the first time I went in. They never once treated me like I was not worth their time which some businesses do if you didn't buy anything. From that point I picked the floor I loved and they did a refreshed quote it took about 3 weeks and here I am with the most GORGEOUS floors. Angie worked with me on the details prior to the installation and kept me up to date and answered all my questions. Martin was the project lead over my installation and he checked in often always making sure everything was right and completed to my satisfaction. Installation was SO QUICK! I had an entire house full of carpet and they had it out and installing some of the floor in one day! They worked all day and cleaned up so well after the first day! I was really impressed how the crew cleaned up. I was able to come in and go straight to bed without needing to clean up. The next day installation continued (oh, they always arrived on time when they said they would too) and they pretty much had everything done the second day. Once again, they cleaned up very well. I will say ripping out tons of carpet and installing LVP does make quite a bit of dust. So, what happens next? Martin calls and says he is sending over someone to come clean!! The woman was very nice and mopped all the floors and wiped down all the surfaces in my home to get the dust off. This was a welcome surprise and really helped to make the whole process so easy. Nothing worse than having to clean up after work, and I didn't have to. The construction trash was picked up, COMPLETELY, the next day from the front yard (I've had debris left before and there was NOTHING left). The way they clean up is just amazing. Installers also put all my furniture back after install (forgot to mention that). The Plummer came as scheduled and did his thing efficiently, and then the painter came and took care of painting the trim. Multiple quotes I got did NOT include this! They all said they would install quarter round but there was no painting to match the trim. PK's quote included all that other quotes didn't, and I ended up getting the kitchen done as well (not in the other quotes) all for a price that was ultimately less than the competition. Factor in their professionalism and the fact I felt I could TRUST their work and they would do things right (something I didn't quite feel with others) it made purchasing these floors the best thing I've done since moving in. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others and I will definitely be contacting them again when I want to make improvements to my kitchen. 100% give PK Floors a chance for your project because you won't be disappointed. read more

Swayed by all the positive reviews we went with PK Floors Plus off Ridge Road in Rockwall for our Master Bathroom remodel. Be VERY careful and although the price may seem reasonable, you will pay more in the long run. I provided a breakdown of our signed agreement/price. I have also provided an unprofessional breakdown of the timeline provided to us by Cesar. The picture is where we stand today, on 11/17. The complete lack of communication from Cesar is beyond unprofessional. No clue what was happening on a day-to-day basis, who would be here and the hours they would start. Sometimes they'd show before 8am, sometimes after 10am and sometimes not at all. The workers themselves are skilled, and very thoughtful about the home in general when it comes to cleaning up. But there was/is a language barrier which at times made things tricky. As nice as the workers are, it became obvious very quickly, that Enrique who came now and again to look over the job knew how to use the epoxy grout product, but the actual workers doing the work did not. They also used white caulk where they should have used tan. Text from Cesar said they would fix this. Again, still waiting with no communication on actually when. The kicker, and final straw was on the 11/15 my husband receives a text from Cesar saying the "electrical would be tomorrow and they are checking on drywall but had some bad news of the LVP flooring. Item was discontinued. But they never told us. They gave us delivery of early November. And now they are telling us it was discontinued; I have some alternatives." Of course, being informed the flooring wasn't even expected to arrive until early November via this text was also the first we had heard. I hit the roof. Husband asked him to tally to date. It's the 17th and no electrical folks have come, no tilers have come to fix the issue, no additional communications from Cesar accept after we called again about the tally and now we're supposedly waiting on the plumbers numbers before this can be delivered. We paid 75% already (~14K) , so I'm sure the issue is not wanting to give us money back. We have VERY little faith any of this will be resolved by the folks at PK Flooring Plus off Ridge in Rockwall and are already seeking out alternatives. We felt the need to post this to share what was once our dream of a luxurious master bathroom turning into one of the worst decisions we have made for this home. We purchased 1950 Sq Ft of laminated woods, in 1 1/2 years time the stuff cracked open, Split open, & Warped. I tried calling for a warranty but no one from their office took initiative to get some one here to see it, it was front desk (Jacob), who stated it was installed right, however, since there's no ROT it's not their fault that this lumber is so BAD! It's now 2.5 yrs old and looks like it's 15 yrs old like what we tore out! Double edge sword, their ONLY Warranty is against ROT, nothing about bad lumber, not treated properly because "It Cost Too Much" and would price them out of the market! Impossibly hard trying to get them to come out and repair an issue with the floor once it's installed. It took multiple times trying to get them to come out and repair an issue with our floor. And they had to come twice since the first time they didn't fix it correctly. Then they damaged our new baseboards when fixing the floor and after, again multiple emails, of trying to get them to fithe baseboards that they damaged, I gave up. They are quick to respond when you want something down, but once the project is complete good luck if you have any issues. And we still have spots that don't feel correct on our floors. Super disappointed with this company. read more

I started working with PK floors at the beginning of this year. Their team is knowledgeable in all their products and so easy to work with. I had decided to do vinyl as it was cheaper and still beautiful, but they knew I really wanted wood look tile so luckily they suggested to just get my measurements and a quote for both. I am so thankful I did. Once we got a quote we realized the tile was only a little bit more and in the grand scheme of things would be worth it. We decided to wait a few months to sign so we could save a little more. Candace was so sweet kept us informed of price changes and inventory changes so that when we had the money saved we knew exactly what the cost and time until install would be. Once we paid, it was about a week wait to schedule (they wanted to have all the materials so they didn't start and have to have a delay) and then Martin worked around my schedule to get them started soon. Enrique's team came on time every day and has been nothing but professional and efficient. I can't believe how much they got done in a day. They also paid CLOSE attention to try to control the dust from getting everywhere and have been careful with our furniture. They told us a week to finish but they finished a day early! This whole experience has been so smooth and amazing. I would work with everyone I have come in contact with at PK floors again. After looking for several months, we finally found a tile that we both liked thru PK Floors Plus. Tile was to be installed in our kitchen and half bath, work to start on Monday, 9/26/2022, team to arrive between 9-10AM. We discussed the dates with Angie, their installation coordinator, several times. On 9/26, no one arrived. We called Angie and was told she would get back to us. She later called apologizing about a "large delivery" coming in that day, and that was why the installers did not show up. This made absolutely no sense to us, but was told the team would arrive Tuesday, 9/27. On Tuesday, several people showed up bringing in supplies and setting up, and then there was only one person. We called Angie again, asking where did everyone go? They had already missed a day, and to us, they should be doing whatever is necessary to make up for that day. That afternoon, a second person arrived. Thursday, 9/29 after 10, no one arrives, and no call from PK Floors. We called Angie, who again didn't have a clue to what was going on. She said she would get back to us. About an hour later, the owner, Patrick Kelly phoned. He too apologized and said a team would be over that afternoon, and he would be over as well. Patrick came with the new team, and instead of addressing how our project was being mishandled, he chose to deflect, and asked, "Do you like the floors?" and started talking about his wonderful staff, and the people weren't showing up because they were sick. I told him, we were told the first no show was due to a delivery issue. So, which story was true? The last team completed all except the transition boards. We were told that would be completed on Friday, 9/30 or Monday 10/3- this did not happen, and no one called to explain why not. On Wed 10/5, we called the Patrick to let him know boards still not installed. Did not hear from him, but later that day someone did come by with boards that were either too short or the colors did not match existing wood. We gave him a sample of the existing wood, so they could do a better match job. Not knowing who to reach out to, on October 11th, we emailed Craig, he was the person who did the measurements and pricing. We explained to him the status of our install and frustrations. The boards were installed the next day. The installer did a beautiful job in matching the wood, and the fit is perfect. We are very pleased with the end results and finally have closure, but what we went thru was crazy. There was a total lack of oversight and communication. It took almost 2 weeks to get our floors completed instead of the 4 days quoted. In addition to this, I haven't even detailed what the store front employees did BEFORE we signed the contract. This is when my husband suggested we start looking elsewhere, but I chose to overlook them for the floors. I went against everything I believed in because I wanted these floors. I will never do that again. For those that did their part, thank you, but we will never use PK Floors Plus again. The one star is for mismanagement, not the product. read more

I ordered 28 pieces of 6x6 tile thru his wife, I explained to her I only needed 28 pieces and NOT 28 SF, she marked out SF and wrote pcs on the order form. They order 28 SF of the tile and said I had to take it all and pay for it all or none at all. I tried to explain to him that it was not my fault but his employees fault but he wouldn't listen and said for me to go get the tile in Dallas myself. We had put off refinishing our hardwood floors for years, because we had been burned by another company, but I could not have been more pleased with PK's Floor. Patrick (and his charming mother) were a pleasure from the start. There was no high pressure selling and no pushing for one product over another. What impressed me even more was David and his crew of refinishers. David took the time to show me different finishes and explain the nuances of each. His crew was very careful with my appliances and built in cabinetry. Except for a short lunch break, they never stopped working. They arrived when they promised and worked diligently all day long. They were tremendously polite and accommodating to us. I've already recommended PK's to one of my neighbors and I intend to recommend them to other friends as well. When you make an investment like this you want to be sure it's worth the money. We just had their crew conduct a major floor overhaul which consisted of removal of a floating vinyl plank flooring and the removal of all ceramic floor tiles in our main living, kitchen, and hallway areas. This is a company I will never recommend or go back to. We bought some carpet from them about two years ago and the carpet is showing some horrible track marks from walking on it. We called PKs Floor to have them look at the floor and talk about our warranty. Well they will not honor the warranty because of a technicality they did not inform us about. After consulting with a local home improvement store for an estimate on carpet/tile installation, we decided to check with PK's Floor USA after seeing some great reviews. Honestly our expectations were that it would cost us much more and would not fall within our price range. When we met with Candice and Patrick we were shocked to find out how competitive their prices were and in fact we felt we got a much better deal. With the holidays rapidly approaching, we were prepared to hear that the work wouldn't be done until after the first of the year. The tile was installed the following weekend and the carpet the Tuesday after that!!! Eleven days total from our consultation to having the job completely finished! Everything was on schedule and the crews were professional and did a beautiful job!! The foreman even called a couple of times to see how everything was going. We have had some very bad experiences with customer service over this past year, but this renewed our faith that some business owners really value their customers and work hard to keep a good reputation.
