We flew out to Phoenix in January 2009 to look at prospective properties. Carl spent two full days showing us house after house. Since the houses we were interested in were either short sales or foreclosures, we knew we had to be patient. Over the next five months, Carl advised us and guided us through the short sale/foreclosure process. He visited the many houses we identified through the MLS, took pictures of them and gave us his assessment. He quickly submitted bids on houses that met our criteria. He was always patient, quick to respond and thorough. He made us feel like we were his only clients, even though we knew we weren't. We were so confident in Carl's judgment that we committed to buy a house sight unseen. All we had were the MLS photos, his pictures and his opinion - but that was enough for us. After we closed, we flew out to Phoenix to see the house for the first time and we are absolutely thrilled. Carl did not steer us wrong. With some realtors, once the transaction is complete the relationship ends. Not with Carl. He continued to assist us. I own a house adjacent to one of their current projects, and they did not hesitate to place a SEWER MANHOLE in my back yard. When I saw the sewer manhole being constructed, I immediately tried calling and emailing. I had reached out in the past to address other concerns, including careless damage to our property, but they never returned my calls. This time, they similarly ignored my calls and the first SEVERAL emails. It took multiple calls and emails just to get an acknowledgment of my communications. My neighbor reported similar experiences regarding their non-responsiveness, so this appears to be characteristic of their "neighborly" conduct. Had Blue Sky notified me of their intent to place a SEWER MANHOLE in my back yard based on an easement, I certainly would have objected and identified suitable alternatives before any work was done, but I did not have that opportunity. Now they're refusing to apply for a change through the City. I have a young child but they don't care about the safety concerns implicated by their decision to place a sewer manhole on my property. If it backs up, there will be RAW SEWAGE in my back yard. They have not cooperated to reach a reasonable solution. If you own a home by their project, please be extremely proactive and vigilant to counteract their unprofessional conduct and lack of transparency.

If I had done this, I would've only lost half the money this joker cost me! Slick Tom called me four days before closing to inform me that -- nyuk, nyuk, shucks! -- looks like the down payment is going to be triple what I told you before! Golly! Turns out, Tom doesn't actually know too much about the products he's selling, and completely screwed up my loan. First, he claimed it's a problem he never sees. (I spoke to a lender in another state who said this is completely incorrect, and any competent lender would have recognized this on "day zero.") Then he decided to blame underwriters, and various other people not named Tom. If for some reason you still pick this sleaze, make sure you communicate my email only. He seems to have a hard time keeping his stories straight when he calls you up with his really weird, phony salesman voice, declaring he has "good news." Buyer beware!
