Matt and Shalin were AMAZING, for many reasons. Matt is very knowledgeable and great at explaining how things work and he is always up to answer any questions we ever had. I never felt stupid asking questions. Shalin is so easy to talk to and get along with. She made going and looking at a bunch of houses in one day bearable and actually really fun! They make you feel like they are here for you and willing to help you out with anything. This market right now was really stressful for my husband and I. We moved down here from Utah and so we were not familiar with areas which made figuring things out and making decisions hard. However, Matt and Shalin were always patient and made us feel like they wanted us to be happy no matter what. They always had a plan of attack. They had great suggestions and recommendations. They were on top of everything, and very thorough. They know alot of people that do alot of different things as far as remodeling, repairs, contractors etc. They always answered our calls and texts. The first thing we noticed about Matt and Shalin Caren was the quick responses to our requests. We we're surprised with the details and response time of our requests because the last realtor we had didn't get back to us for days. We are first time home buyers and we didn't know what a normal Realtor and Homebuyer customer relationship should be. Being new to Surprise AZ, Matt Caren was recommended to us as a realtor that would find the house you were looking for. Being out of state Matt opened a portal for just us with the criteria that we presented to him. We spent hours looking at the homes that he put on the web site and continued to add. We selected 10 which Matt made appointments for us to see as well as some we could just enter as they weren't occupied. We flew into town and spent one entire day looking a homes. The home we selected from the portal was not the one that we originally picked out, but knew it was the one the moment we walked in, and in fact went back to see again the same day (this home was occupied and the owner willing left again). We moved from Minneapolis and were looking for a retirement home in the valley. Matt was very responsive and worked with me and my wife for several months to come up with a home that me our needs.
