The ER doc said prepare for the cat to die "within days or weeks." Well, thanks to Silvia's care, it is two months later and he's still going and comfy. His kidney readings are less than half of what they were in the ER, thanks to daily fluid therapy. Although I teched at a vet clinic 35 years ago, I would not have been able to administer the daily subcutaneous fluids myself. Silvia's years of vet tech experience help her administer fluids, shots and meds in a way where the cat doesn't even know it is happening. She's great with trimming kitty nails too.
