As most great things; Sir Walks A Lot was a referral from a local walker who did not have capacity for our new rescue. I can't imagine where we'd be with our dog Sierra had we not met Robert. Robert adheres to very disciplined and loving approach to ensure boundaries for optimal growth and learning on the daily walks. On a few occasions we were in a pinch and had to leave town and Robert extended his services for dog sitting. Fast forward nearly 3 years and our baby girl Sierra has grown into a socialized, obedient and friendly dog with both humans and other dogs (She started as a 1 year old that was not socialized and very raw with little to no manners). Now she is usually the best behaved dog anyone has ever met whether it be at home or on hikes etc. Come see for yourself; we can usually be found at Stinson a few Saturdays a month where she swims and plays with other dogs... just look for the black Lab mix. Our Reggie boy has been with Robert and sir walks a lot for over 3 years, since he was a pup. He has been with both Robert and Jonah on his walks- and he adores them both. Robert and Jonah have been so wonderful with him- even putting up with his puppy car sickness he thankfully grew out of. I have also done some training with Robert which set the strong fundamental baseline for Reggie's reactivity (only with us, never on his pack walks). Nice reminder it is time to re-book! Getting Reggie into the pack with sir walks a lot has been such a god send since day one as I returned to the office a few days a week. I had my first session today with Robert it was so great. I have a high energy, anxious, reactive, hyper focused Staffordshire mix. After walking me through a dog walk, I was finally able to get control of my dog. We even went out for a second walk after Robert left a couple hours later, and it was the first enjoyable walk I've been on with my dog in a year. We even encountered an off-leash dog close quarters, and we're able to handle the situation calmly and go on with our walk. It was amazing. Rob at Sir Walks Alot has been taking care of our mastiff, Rooney, for over 2 years. We moved to the Bay Area 4 years ago and it took me 2 years to find a good enough dog walker to take care of our gentle giant. Rob is the most patient, loving attentive caregiver you would ever want to have take care of your dog. He doesn't "outsource" the dog walking, as some other services do. He is there, day in and day out, rain or shine, understanding and catering to all of the nuances and idiosyncrasies of your dog. For example, he has a dog ramp for my old arthritic dog and gently leads him up it on each outing. I know he also hand-feeds another dog that has issues swallowing. He rearranges schedules to make sure the "playful" dogs go out together on the same days, and the "quiet dogs" go out on other days. He takes all the dogs to a dog park, either Mill Valley or San Rafael in small groups and towel dries them when it rains. Because he is in Corte Madera, and we're in San Rafael, I often see him out driving with a bunch of deliriously happy dogs in the back. I've seen him at least a dozen times (anonymously, where he hasn't seen me) and watched to see if I could spot my dog in the back and witnessed his exemplary driving. In fact, that is how I first found him, as he had a mastiff in the back of his truck and I had one in mine and he followed to the park to see if they wanted to play. If you know anything about Rob, you know that he is thoughtful, careful and cautious human being, who does this job for his sheer love of animals. I would recommend him to anyone. read more

Robert Jupe is a consummate professional. I first met Robert at the Mill Valley dog park with my beloved Dillon, an eight year old cattle dog mix. Dillon chose to met Robert all on his own. This is the ultimate compliment for a human from the canine family. I had recently moved to Marin from the east bay and was desperate for a replacement for someone to walk Dillon. I had a lovely conversation with Robert at the park and the very next day Robert came to our new home to meet Dillon again and to discuss his taking Dillon out for weekly walks. I was a reck. I was upset that I had taken Dillon away from his longstanding dogwalker and his only home in Berkeley. Robert was kind, loving and patient not only with Dillon but with me as I went on and on about my concerns. Robert took Dillon out in his truck this same day to see how they both got along. This hour visit was all free of charge. It has been over a year since that first visit and Dillon and I both LOVE Robert!! I am so thank full for Robert and all that he has done for Dillon. Robert cares for his clients both canine and human with compassion and takes pride in his business. He teaches and trains humans with their pets to insure good health and safety for both the dogs and the owners. Indeed, Sir Walks A Lot is "As good as it gets"! I have known Robert quite a few years now, walking my little Dachshund Benji in the Open Space in Tiburon. My little guy always enjoys when we run into Robert and his group of all different sizes and breeds of dogs and for me it always is a treat to see how well Robert's dogs are behaving, a very good example for mine. Lately I have also had my son's Dachshund Bidu staying with us. Bidu is quite a bit more aggressive and I asked Robert if he would mind that we join him on his morning walks with his gang. I'm very grateful that my Raider has received loving care and much-needed discipline from Rob. I'm so happy Raider can go on outings with other dog pals. I would not walk him for fear of bumping into a dog that my dog felt the necessity to "protect" me from!
